Efren is very much like any GOAT in any sport. He just have that aura of greatness. He does things very gracefully and make hard shots look easy. Mark of a true legend and genius.
I've been lucky enough to be able to play both Efren Reyes and Eddie Charleton in exhibition games (both times I lost ) but it was a great experience meeting them both. Cant argue with Efren's G.O.A.T status he's still going strong at 62.
That's the thing: cue ball control. As we pool players know, shot making ability is great, but if you do not have control of whitey, you just won't win as many games in the end. That's why Efren doesn't mind being down 4 - 6, race to 9 against a real hot, shot maker. He quietly goes about the business of running a couple of racks, hits his opponent with a devastating safety, and suddenly he's on the hill, leaving the dude melting in his chair...helpless! I've seen it happen, more than once.
I have no doubt that Efren Reyes IS the greatest pool player ever to live thus far. He has blown my mind after witnessing many of his shots that I believed were impossible, time and time again. He is the GOAT.
Pool isn't heavy lifting. . .If you can maintain your concentration and mental focus, then age won't really matter. . .As Efren is continuing to prove!
Not really true. I am 63 & I can say that with absolute certainty. Vision issues along with motor skills will degrade as one ages & that doesn’t take into account shoulder, elbow, knee, & hand degradation or arthritis. I suppose if ya don’t age, one can go on forever.
@@elaiskywalker7862A body at rest stays at rest. A body in motion stays in motion. Age is only something that happens over time and time is made up so we are never late. Confusing but true😂
There are no shortages of people that say he is lucky!. The difference is he is willing to take the short most players deem "No logical and in favor of good odds. they play the odds and he plays his mind and wins every time. that and a lifetime of experience make him the GOAT. The best part is I've watched him so often. I see a wild shot when he is snookered, and am amazed that he took the shot in my head and makes it every time. I can still see him playing for a long tme yet the only thing that will slow him down will be his eyesight. not his stroke or mind. ECF
His eyesight is still very good at this time. He had lasik surgery in the past so it will be good through the years. He is not even using glasses at age 69!
That's the amazing thing about BATA now, is his eyesight. At age 69, apparently he can still see the thinnest of thin cuts and continues to amaze at his ability for a generation of pool players. The GOAT!
Now adays, many players can beat the magician to finish each rack because they are also pro players, what efren's advantage to theme is his knowledge and skills in precise kicking and the use of angles that no players can immitate him that is why the GOAT is very difficult to beat even if his old.😊
The difference is mainly experience. I’ve seen some trick shots he’s used in competition that just prove how difficult it is to play defensive against Efren. He really is a Houdini style magician when it comes to billiards
Saya pengagum orang orang bertalent. Indonesia.

I've always loved watching Efren play, the man puts on a Clinic every time he plays. His age should be a warning to would be challengers, you better bring your "A" game or the Master will take you to school.
The difference between Efren and the other champs is that not only does he pocket the hopeless ball but also he ends up in perfect position for the next one.🐐
I've watched in person, and on countless videos of the GOAT, Efren Reyes, and although he has slowed down a little, now at 69 years old, he's still got it! No doubt - the BEST EVER!
Since becoming a fan of the Magician, I am quick to bring up Efren's name whenever I encounter a Filipino. They always respond with pride at the sheer mention of his name.
GOAT. GOAT. GOAT. Absolutely the best of all time. He is also very humble and a really nice guy. Sad to see him retire but I completely understand. Love your videos
I have seen many Great pool players in my life, But never seen a super pool player like Efren Reyes. He is the GOAT.
全世界最頂尖的9號球手.....
He is the Superstar of this game. ❤❤❤❤ and yet humble.
Fast eddie was the goat
He is the like the Michael Jordan of Pool.
Greatest I've ever seen.
there is always thrill and excitement when Efren Reyes play the game. he never disappoint his audience. GOAT!
His Z shot against Earl Strickland in the 1995 finals was the greatest ever. Even Earl raised Efren's hand to say he was the GOAT.
Efren and Pacquiao is the legend from southeast asia, we proud of them. They are humble and Maestro in their each sport. Respect from Indonesia.
Efren is the master and no one will ever be as impressive as Efren.

There is no argument
This guy demeanor is so poised, look at the way he sits at the end, pure humbleness…..THE GOAT
Efren Reyes is amazing. He never disapoints. What a legend.
Efren Reyes makes the game look ridiculously easy and his cue ball control is god tier level.

Truly one of the very best shot makers, absolutely amazing.
True definition of the word GOAT...EFREN BATA REYES!
Although he has earned the nickname the magician for a reason will be on goat 😂
That kick on at five looks simple but it’s so hard and he hit it right on the money. I couldn’t believe it was gone after that shot.
👍
He’s the best of the best a very humble person 🙌🙌🙌

Alot of sports have many goats , but only in Pool table can you truly say there is only one. The legend , the true goat Mr Efren Bata Reyes.
This match has so many amazing shots from Efren

Efren makes it look so easy
Efren is a living legend, his skill of playing is similar to dacing all over the floor, superb ❤
We have a man in Portugal that played for FC Porto ,was also a GOAT

What a down to earth amazing champion and a person Mr. Efren “bata” Reyes👍❤️🇵🇭
X2 great comment.
We can never say ALL time, but Efren is the greatest player I have seen in 60 years.
Bro 8 ball has only been around for about a 100 years
True, so we don't know how good the players were 50 to 100 years ago.
For you to say that you must know a player who beat champion that beat a champion
He is a Legend .... Forever ....
A wonderful video. Such a pleasure to watch an artist and magician at work. 🙏🙏🇬🇧
his stroke is so smooth, exactly the amount of force that's needed to accomplish the shot and to position the cue ball for the next shot. Genius.
Yes! So many to count! Thanks!
Does he ever play Snooker. He would make a good Snooker player.
@@LBS-qw8gfI heard he said once many years ago,he won rocket one rack.
I've seen many, many players copying his style and trying to play like him.
You cannot question experience as you grow old. Experience make perfect in combination with talent like Efren Reyes. Proud of him. 😊😅
It's never good to try and play safe against the Magician.
Thanks for these.
The bank shot with the object ball 6 against the rail was sick! How does he get the cueball out of the way from being hit on the bounce?
GOAT. A truly historicaal pool player.

Mr. Reyes is a legend. The Young Player gave him a respectable match. I think they both earned a congratulations.
Efrin is the BEST I've seen in 68 years, plus he's a gentleman and a good loser. SIMPLY NONE BETTER ! ! ! ! !
This man is surely THE BEST pool player to ever do it competitively that I have ever seen. Thanks for sharing these videos.
Why is it not televised here in PH??
Efren says “more you practice more you get lucky”
"I got lucky" legendary troll 😂
When you can consistently run out the table you still aren't ready to play this man....
His skill and style are un teachable, noone else plays like that lol
Efren travels around the world collecting free money with that smile.
That same smile trust me😂… He is out of the earth❤
Not only he could kick using the rails before, and after object ball, but he could cut a slice at the very edge of the ball
👍👍
I've been playing pool for over 60 years n I'd love to meet him some day before I die I'm 74 n have cancer
Efren Reyes never disapoints. He is amazing. What a legend.💪
