I have purchased 2 of the Eco flow Delta Max Delta pro. I am a engineer and hands down is down for the amount of money and the amount of efficiency in the products you can't beat it. There's many different kinds of products out there it's all depends on your personal use. And what your preferences but I can truly say thatruly say that I am my wife did a lot of research joined different products and I'm so happy that I came across this product the Eco flow. I just want everyone to keep in mind that these are for specifically aemergency purposes they're not to sit and run a dryer or a washer all day every day. I have used them in blackouts to turn on heavy light and fan and light my whole house and run other devices 100% efficiently works great. You can run a dryer which I've done I've run a Samsung full load washer for hoursBut in a case of an emergency I'm not concerned about washing or drying clothes. My main concern is having power to run a hot plate make some coffee keep my refrigerator running and keep my lights and my electronics backed up.

Thank you for sharing… my family live off the grid and they usually have to take their batteries to a charging station to charge then taxi it back home. This will be a perfect gift for them. By the way, I was impressed when I saw you run that electric ⚡️ saw 🤣😂🤣. I like the LCD Display too. Very interactive device. Definitely getting one

I've been interested in these since Anker had their powerhouse series. But they've all always been so expensive for the longevity you get.
I've been dabbling with making a backup solution with multiple deep cycle marine batteries, power inverter, trickle charger, and other bits.
Also I used to fantasize about using a Vruzend kit to make the backup kit too.

After reading many reviews and watching a lot of videos, I chose this option for my first backup power station. ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHypYDKHAN93Lp2RQpfvU_ksc70wJ00pt I was between this and a larger option that could power a wider range of items, but the price/size/capacity blend seemed right for this unit. Hasn't gotten a ton of use yet, but the build quality is solid and it charges fine via the Rockpals solar panel I purchased to pair with it. One thing to note is that the screen is optimized for a top down viewing angle, which makes sense, but this means it washes out at other angles - especially low angles. Not a huge deal, but perhaps a better option for the display could be used to provide wider viewing angles.

Good video Russ, I don't mind you straying off the drone subjects. I have a friend of mine I'm helping to take care of who has unfortunately, ALS and he depends on a machine for breathing assistance right now.. something like a CPAP on steroids. He's living in a rural area and is very afraid of power outages so he's been interested in something like this.
I had in the past suggested and uninterruptible power supply similar to what you would power the computer server that has lead acid batteries where the electricity will flow through from a wall outlet to his CPAP. But the battery will kick over immediately where the power to go out. I wasn't sure if lithium ion battery devices like this would do the same thing, allow the electricity to flow through them if power to the house was still alive and then kick over to battery power when the house power fails. I'm very glad to hear this and I'll be forwarding your video to him.

    Hi Russell,
I’ve been a long time follower of your channel regarding drones..great channel…regarding the eco family of electric generators, I have a unique situation with one of its competitors that I believe is a systemic issue among all units like these, but I’m hoping that the eco flow is different. I currently have a Westinghouse iGen1000s hooked up to my sump pump as a UPS and it works great EXCEPT for one MAJOR operational problem. When power goes out, the electric generator takes over and does it’s job, if the sump needs it, BUT if the power is off for more than 24 hours, the AC side of the unit shuts off from wall power, meaning when wall power comes on, the AC side of the unit only is off (as though someone shut it off) even though there is still plenty of battery left ?? Since it’s set up as a UPS though, the sump pump won’t run anymore, even though the wall power is on, and plugged in….Mfg doesn’t understand why I’m concerned about this…went away for a week and I think you can guess the rest…does the eco flow do the same by (cutting out) AC power recovery after 24 hours of wall power failure when used as a UPS ??

@@goneoutside1011 Ok, well I also went with the ecoflo and decided on the delta max. I was looking at the jackery but decided to go with the eco because it weighs less, which was a concern for me, AND I went with the 160 w panels. Also, in my gut I felt the reason hackery may be getting such good press...not that it's not a good machine...is due to incentives to their reviewers. Anyway, thanks again!

So what does 800 cycles to 80% mean? After 800 full uses it'll only work at 80% of it's original charge? That's not too bad, if so.

    • @51Drones

That’s correct. After it has been charged 800 full times, the max storage is 80% of the original, and that’s the highest it will go. With regular use, it should take 3 to 5 years to reach that, but most people will never reach 800 cycles.
