This is definitely one of those films that you can meticulously pick apart for days, weeks, months, even years. That's kind of a benefit of stop motion filmography. Nope. Bad theories 101. The parents must’ve lied to rent the house. Or, maybe Wybie’s Grandma thought the Belldam died when she had the walls bricked up (she did buy the house, meaning her sister was the last child to be taken away, forever).
According to the book, the grandma refused to rent the house to couples with small children because she knew the bedlam was still alive. So she was intentionally starving the bedlam in the hopes of killing her by cutting off her supply of children. It’s never explained why she still decided to rent out the pink palace to Coraline’s parents knowing they had a kid. My theory is that maybe she figured the bedlam wouldn’t try to lure in Coraline because she was clearly older than her usual prey. The ghost children look to be between the ages of 5-7, while Coraline is around 12 years old. Everyone knows that the older you get the less naive you become, and your less likely to get manipulated. I think the grandma underestimated just how desperate the bedlam was to keep herself alive at this point.

Kid me would have a 50/50 split on if The Other Mother’s Trick would work on me, because I have a good life, and seeing my mom with button eyes along with her saying that she’s not even my mother would instantly make me turn around…but that food looks soooo good. I wouldn’t accept the button eyes regardless when offered, but my ass wouldn’t survive trying to make it out anyways.
But you won't get food or anything for that matter you are dead and will basically be sharing a bed with the ghost children inside of that mirror, regretting that descion for that rest of your life, for who knows how long.
@@shaziyataranum710 Yeah, it’s best if kid me just walked away anyways because I swear even he would know something is wrong. “must be the giraffe” 6:17
“What happened to the other father!?” 10:24
“Why did your parents have to meet wiby” 12:30
“Here have beat” 5:30
This is my favorite movie ever. I would rewatch it as a kid and then my aunt blocked it. I watch it at least twice a year now(I'm 20). It's tied for favorite movie with fnaf now though
6:16 “very suspicious indeed must be the giraffe” caught me of guard
The detail in this movie is crazy like for example the double loop in home O on the cake means she and not in welcome is because a double loop means a lie or smthn like that so she is welcome but not home
3:42 i was looking for somthing to eat and you reminded me my broke ass has about 2 eggs
U should do “Thrillers I CAN survive” or “action movies I can survive” just some suggestion ik it’s bad
Amazing Ideas
@@DerekFDBthank you bro,I’m a big fan of how you edit your vids, Goodluck with your channel dude
when i was younger, i never found this movie scary until i got older. when you really think about this movie it just gives you chills. i watch this movie along with paranorman and monster house every halloween and it just gives off a different vibe. coraline is actually very dark but my kid friendly than the book.
Fire video as always man. I ain't gonna lie tho seeing a person with buttons for eye in irl is now a new fear of mine, thanks for that .😂
2:04 imagine someone got ALL of the wybes and showed them this clip😢😂
“Why did your parents have to meet Wybie” That had me rolling-

Only problem is that rven if food wouldn’t work on kid me, The Other Mother can be pretty manipulative with kids, and I doubt I’d be quite perceptive as Coraline was in her attempts to escape or not be fooled by her. I just know that kid me wouldn’t try to stick around for long, at least certainly not at first.
First genuenly funny video ive seen in a while
IDK how many times ive watched Coraline. I like best the part where the "Other Mother" says, "Well, of course u do, everybody has an 'Other Mother'".
What makes that sorta creepy is that would mean there’s more than one “other mother”
@conorgarrett5893 you've ever felt a tender but suspicious presence watching over you while you sleep? that's your Other Mother.
1:09 Who is That Hand?
Me : Uh... Exp. 1006...?
Da prototype that is a fraud for trying to save purple cat thing, cookie hug thing and pink spider woman😂

Why do you sounds like Degenerocity?
He sounds like degenerocity but with a deeper voice
No, but for real, I really think it’s just him, with a different account😂 like I’m like are you sure this is not him..?
Some RUclipsrs get paid to voice different channels. It could be him, but the person making the videos hired Degenerocity. Hence why this channel isn't featured as his second channel.
11:55 i was always under the impression the mice ate the other Bobenzci
The hand is the prototype from poppy playtime!
If poppy playtime was over 15 years old 😂
Didn't really get this movie as a kid but now im obsessed with it. Coraline is one of my all time favorite movies i re-watch it from time to time just cause. Its so amazing
0:36 i didnt shit my pants i swear
I was traumatised when I watched this movie, I literally CRIED when I watched Coraline, mostly bc of the damn button eyes but like WHY DOES THE OTHER MOTHER LOOK LIKE A DAMN SKELETON IN SOME PARTS OF THE MOVIE LIKE BRO…
(after I watched it I was like this should not be a kids movie, I am never gonna watch coraline again)
12:17 I would keep the key until I'm an old crazy granny, and then give it to one of my grand kids
The cat's a W character
13:00 that part was funny ngl 🤣💀
7:38 context: she was naked the grandma
Well just barely not
@@someone-cool-ytbro she was topless, all she had were nipple covers 😭
Jiggle physics is crazy💀💀💀
I loved this movie. The creepypasta theme makes it interesting. When I watched this as a kid, I wasn’t scared. I’m still not scared of it. Or I just watched it too many times. 😭
The wheel at 12:01
That hand looks like the Poppy Playtime prototype
09:00 at that moment I ran to my room and sat through the hole movie in ball position
This was the second movie to scare the crap out of me. The FIRST was cause of monster house. Not cause of the house but because of the old man falling on the kid, that’s the only reason amazing vid btw ❤
5:24 spot on acting
