- We are On the Road Again, this time for a weekend on the mountain. It doesn't take long at over 10,000 feet to find a few folks in need of assistance. So we get to work and then it's some RNR for a few days in sub zero temps. What a life! Doing what we love and filming what we do! Thanks for all the support and thanks for joining us! Casey

Shoveling out a Jeep at 10.000ft is definitely a young man's game !
That looks like a blast, but brrrrrrrr. Thanks for taking us along.
Old statement that keeps coming to mind. Big boys and their even bigger toys. You definitely were having fun there.
Remined me of the days when I rode snowmobiles a lot. Our first machine was a 1972 Sno-Jet. That snow cat looks more my speed now.
If the scenery doesn’t take your breath away, the elevation will..I think some frost started forming on my tv screen 1/2 way thru this gorgeous trip😳 Thanks 4 taking us along❤️🙏🏻👍
HEY! Good morning Casey!
Morning!
Always love the snowcat content. Keep up the good work 🤘🏼
Thanks! Will do!
Looks like a lot of fun. Almost makes me miss the years we went tent camping in winter, with a stove in the tent it is nice. Be safe.
That Wrangler scoots right along on tracks!
Love it and thank you for the views! 👍👏
You bet
Beautiful country!
Looks like a fun time! 😀
This is the absolute finest method of fun to me. Probaly why i love Snow plowing, I may live in the city in ohio but my heart and soul lives in the mountains. Namely Smoky mountains, Tennessee. This video made me jealous. ❤️👏👍
Glad you enjoy it!
I'd call this "how to have fun working". Good stuff Casey. Cheers from West Jordan
Thanks 👍
Yeah Buddy!!! Send some snow north!!!We could use some more!
Deal!
Casey, I think it was in a CW McCall song where's he says life is just a collection of memories and looks like you and your family are building some good ones for sure. Thanks for sharing and stay safe 👍
Steve you brought back a memory of a B side to the 45 of “convoy “ lifetime of a trucker✌️
Honestly I didn't think that Jeep would get stuck, looks like it was a great day, glad all got to enjoy the Snow, thanks for sharing, all the best to yous and your loved ones
Those jeeps with tracks look like a lot of fun!
Looks like a blast! 🌲🌲🌲
That was a good one
Nice
Hey Casey !!!! Yepper !! ""COLD "" , But what ""FUN"" !!! 🙃😀😃👀👀👍👍👍👍👍
Great recovery, Looks like you had a lot of fun in the snow with your family
Great video Casey!! That sure looked like a blast!!👍👍
Wow. Those all wheel drive european cars are just awesome in less than an inch of snow.
Amazing eh!
Deep snow
Now we are having a great Friday morning, Casey gave us a most excellent ride along! 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it
dont get to play in the snow much anymore, loved the ride along.
Lots of hard work to have fun 😁
You got that right!
Thanks for the video Casey nicely done 👍, Take care of yourself and family and be Blessed ❤️❤️❤️.
Thank you! You too!
All that snow, it's summer here in New Zealand 24c man that snow does look goood.Gerald.
Fun times! Like your Snow cat.
Thank you! 😊
They need to watch Casey LaDelle's video on how to keep snow from packing inside the tracks.
With a 72 inch base over manzanita no tracked Jeep has a prayer. Better keep to the packed snow or the groomed trails in any tracked jeep or you're in trouble.
Thank u for the beautiful views
Always welcome
Good times!
That looks like a good time. Too cold for this Phoenix Az man.
Great fun
Good to see lots of snow up on the mountain. Snowmobiling is one of the funnest things I have ever done unfortunately I haven't been in a long time. Work hard play hard sir
Mr Casey That looked like fun. Thanks for sharing and stay safe.
You bet
Track Jeep kind of got is over his head in that spot!
Nice.
That dog is as wound up as an 8 day clock! Boing Boing
Tracked jeeps/ trucks do well in snow but have limits as demonstrated.
Ya Better stick to the hard pack or groomed trails
I would imagine that unseen holes and obstacles are common traps for snowmobilers and tracks.
That is for sure. A year ago a guy on a snowmobile broke his back in this meadow.
At 10,000 feet does it still snow in April and May there? I’m kind of wondering what month all that will finally melt, because we don’t have anything near these conditions in the UK, although some mountains in Scotland are very near to the coast and can pick up good snowfalls in some years. I love the snow (though not the wind that sometimes comes with it!)
Keep the videos coming. The way I look at it, you are providing a secondary service for those who are interested but can’t get to experience anything like this, in addition to your main job of helping those who would otherwise be stranded in a desperate situation.
Thank you for some interesting content. Best wishes from the UK! 🇬🇧 🇺🇸
We can get snow at elevation about any time during the year. July is when it might melt...closer to end of July first of August. Thanks for the kind words.
That's some high altitude right there!! It almost looked like that Jeep had open diff's front and rear. That pup of yours sure likes to run!!
You got that right!
If it wasn't for that Jeep going deep, I would have thought that snow was only 6" - 8" deep. That sort of confused my Florida brain (I misjudge snow). 😂😂
Ya itss a good 60 to 75 inch base depending on drifting.
that's a Duramax on an icy road
sure is beautiful above treeline
One amazing place
That looked like it was a lot of fun!! I'd love to play in the snow if only it weren't so COLD!! 🥶
WOW way too much snow for me
I was side eyeing that part of the video thinking, could you even survive 1 nite out up there🤔. Shoveling like your life depends on it kind of effort....😖
I have found people who have spent the night, they usually loose fingers and toes and lucky to be alive.
😎🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸😎
Casey does the strong wind make it colder up there like it does everywhere else?
I will say I am 43 years old and I would have a good time it would be so peaceful to get away from everything.
I was surprised to see a tracked vehicle get stuck since they are on tracks to avoid getting stuck in snow.
You can tell that popi loves to lead while you guys follow behind in the vehicles.
Yes wind chill is a real Deal. Tracked vehicles are no snowcats. Poppy sure loves to run.
👍🏽👍🏽
At 1:52 we can see just how little snow is on the ground.
Lol. Only 60 inches settled. 226 inches of total snowfall. Crazy
Reality check for tracks.
To me the are pretty worthless, Better stay on the hard pack or groomed trails.
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery they wouldn't last here but they look. Cool. I'll take your word on how to snow wheel as I've only seen it once in Alaska.
Who is the guy in the snow cat?
Casey, at that altitude isn't your machine choking on fuel and way down on power given that its a carbed unit ( not that the tj would be a ball of fire but it at least can compensate for the fuel mixture ) . That's where a light turbo gas engine would shine aside from it having very questionable reliability !
A quick 1/4 turn of the mixture screw my machine never knew it left the beach. It will keep right up with the TJ.
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery Oh, I gather that carb dates back to the era where the main jet could be adjusted. One example I have around the farm is a Massey 65 gas, I have to adjust it a bit richer for the winter or otherwise it coughs and dies off.
That is correct. It runs real good up there. May put a little fuel injected engine in it sometime.
I can't imagine having to shovel at 10k without oxygen
Ya it doesn't take long to run out of air
tracked jeeps really need lockers front and rear to make full advantage of em
That is for sure and compared to a snowcat they are not any good.
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery when in the white powder snowcat will always be king, floatation is key when in super soft stuff like snow/sand/deep mud, one question though how does the nodwell handle the super soft stuff with its track width + the weight.
@OldKatz there are quite a few videos of it in decent amounts of snow I'm assuming the snow cat would be a better time and definitely easier to transport there
@@zachlangolf2287 ofcourse the snowcat is comparatively light and probably faster but pulling power is not a snowcats forte.
I have had it on an 80 inch base with 30 inches powder...it just bombed through it.
👍☕cz
Brrrrrr
It was right at zero degrees....
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery BRRRRR × 10
Hey Casey will ever comment on what happen between you and Matt???? been here for a few years now
Nope!
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery will you work together ever again?
@@CaseysOffRoadRecovery God Plan.
Not a chance!
As a 5th generation native of Colorado, I'm having trouble believing that helping the jeep vehicle was over 10,000 ft. Its clear that there are trees higher than your current elevation, maybe 2-300Ft. or more, please explain? maybe I'm wrong!!!
Our cabin is at 10, 250 feet elevation and surrounded by trees. The Jeep was at Louder station 10,100 feet. We have trees up to 11,250 feet or so. The peak at Brinhead is 11,317 feet and does not have trees.
