- Went on a call up on the La Sal Mountains. Someone had got their truck stuck in the snow the day before and needed us to go get it. So we did. Then earlier this month we had the Moab Christmas Light Parade where we entered and decorated both tow trucks. Had the kids in the back of Ol Blue throwing out candy while Trailmater was helping Santa out with a tow on the trailer. Thank you everyone for watching and supporting us. Also a very special Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to everyone.

It was actually August and 110 degrees when they did this recovery, but Rory's video timelines are so screwed up that they had to dress up warm and add the snow for effect.

The clouds seem so close in the mountains from lower elevations. Seems cool to notice almost like you might bump your head in certain conditions. Beautiful land to be blessed with and appreciate to enjoy.

You guys take me back to my younger "time", long before arthritis was a daily reminder of my present life. If it snowed, we were out in the middle of it. Heavy rain? Lock the hubs & hit the trails at the lake. We enjoyed every minute! You guys are making your own memories , that will stay with you for a lifetime. Gosh, the xmass parade, it's great watching the pure joy on your local childrens faces. Pure heven.

Rory, Sean and Mike owe none of us a damn thing! They work hard while laughing and making it fun at a job few will put forth the money to do. Not counting the costs of earning the experience I wish for the New Year that utubers would stop acting like "know it alls"!
Let us all consider Rory's expenses instead of questioning; payroll, shop rent/mortgage, power bill, fuel, equipment and repair. From now on before we critique the crew about an expensive piece of equipment or part, send Rory the money for said part and maintenance cost then you can say just about anything Rory allows.
OR like me sitting in the hospital treatment center watching utube videos you all can just tell these men and the woman when a girlfriend or daughter are along, THANK YOU!

Years ago we had a night light parade on the Boise River... live bands ect... was awesome till they desided it was harmful to the river banks & switched over to a night parade through Boise. Was an amazing week with the hot air balloons lighting up all at once at night.... ending of the week was an amazing fireworks show. My work was right beside the park where all the vendors setup & being an engineer, we had the privilege of sneaking away on a walkabout to have lunch & snacks during the afternoons. In the winter we have events & the winter wonderland parade... rode horses to keep an on our daughter's who were part of the rodeo queen courts from around the valley. Fun times!
I know it's not unique to Trail Mater, but the way you lock up the rear and drive just the front is just cool as hell.
I had a Dodge K car back in the day as a work issued vehicle, it was good at that too 😀 A stupid little car that would go about anywhere in snow.
Merry Christmas, ho ho ho. I just loved that Santa Parade. Very pretty, and no one was complaining about the wrecker lights for a change.
Can't say I mind seeing different seasons of Utah. Each has its own beauty and majesty. People complaining about "continuity" in a you tube video need to re-evaluate their priorities!

The Christmas Light Parade with the entire town in show just made me smile.

Here in my little desert town between Edward's Air Force base and the 10,000' San Gabriel mountains we do an annual Christmas parade. Unlike any other parade I've ever seen where the parade is down a central street in the town, we put lights on vehicles and parade around most every street in town. I've paraded in my Baja Bug. Others in pickups, cars, floats made from decorated trailers, 4x4s, UTVs, cop cars, ATVs, fire trucks and what started the whole deal, the school buses. Most anything you can string lights on and cruise around town, legal or not. Like your parade, there's lots of candy tossed. There are beauty queens, horses and all sorts. Takes about 3 hours to do the whole parade. People all over standing in front of their houses. Friends gather at 1 friend's house to watch. 5,000 cameras and cell phones out. Little kids in strollers and elderly in wheel chairs and walkers. Parking is no problem for those watching and no streets need to be closed. Lot of fun.

Hey Rory and crew, there is a certain type of person who feels the need to tell people how to live and how to work and how to do everything else. These people never show up to help, and if you actually take their advice on anything they will literally complain about that as well. Two things : Please give a tutorial on how to properly work the gas pedal in the snow when doing a recovery, and I admire your community participation!!!
The whole reverse-geared 180° front-wheeled drift was beyond impressive enough, but the sound at approx 8:53 when Rory gets back on the throttle going forward sounded freakin' AWESOME! I don't know if it was because of the snow AND the surrounding landscape and maybe the distance to the mic' on the camera maybe? But it sounded a lot like a Top Fuel dragster. These guys never fail to entertain and impress! And as yet another thought - I wonder if the big-block in the Trail Mater is basically 'stock' and what type of mufflers, pipes are on it?

I loved it! The parade was, everything a kid could want! The fire truck used to decorate in our little town of 1000 people, and throw hard candy out to us kids!! Of course Santa road on the fire truck!! Enjoyed the DRONE footage with the storm off on the left side and then behind you! Rory, I’m onto you!! You did not build Trail Mater for anything but fun… You are so confident in your abilities, as you should be, that you are just at play in your office!! What a joy to view you “Cut-Up” Roads everyone else would drive at like 5 miles an hour!! Thank you for these videos thank you thank you thank you!!! Wisconsin

Great video, the down shifting 4:07 my dad taught me that when I was 12 on an old ford 4x4 , it helped me understand later when I had to double clutch trucks before I got my CDL years ago 👍🏼
