This is my everything phone I've had since Mar 2020 and it's mint. Battery life has dropped off a bit but I put crazy hrs on mine. Always on auto brightness and adaptive charging. I'm going to replace the battery this winter if the pixel 6 pro is junk . But I took back the 21 ultra and sold the mi 11ultra because they suck compared to this. Especially after the android 11 update. The camera is killing it. Who cares about 120 Hz . That's so kiddies can be impressed by the zoomies lol

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  10 месяцев назад

      Thanks. First check and make sure the sub board is seated properly down in place since it has contacts underneath which touch and make a connection to the vibrator motor. But the fact you have issues with the fingerprint sensor also, might be that you have a wrong version of the sub board. You need to make sure you order the correct model number sub board/charger port board for your phone since different region versions have different antenna contacts as well as minor differences which might result in issues. But one more thing you can try is to save your info/backup your device and do a factory reset since sometimes the fingerprint sensor requires it when parts are changed.

      It might be a display problem with the dual screen itself. If its still under a year since you purchased it, you should be able to send it in for replacement. Seems to be either a faulty cable with the second screen or faulty screen itself. You can always get another dual screen just to test and see if that is the problem to rule it out and you can return the second one after verifying the issue

    Why LG wasn't so greedy and stupid like Sony when they decided to use proper cooling system here - copper vapour chamber? Look at two latest generations of Sony flagship phones - Xperia 1 II / 1 III - no cooling system. No wonder their phones hot as hell an switching off due to overheating in some curcumstances.

    There's something loose inside the phone that makes a knocking sound when I shake it. Although the phone is working perfectly fine, I wonder if I need to open it and see if there's something that needs tightening. The sound is coming from the lower part, and sometimes the loose part gets fixed in place and won't make noise when moved up and down, but starts making noise when moved sideways. What could it possibly be? Is it worth opening the phone, considering it may compromise the water-proofing capability? Any help is appreciated.

      The adhesive for the battery on this phone is strong enough to be reused and no heat is required to re-apply. Original replacement parts for this phone can be found on mobiledefenders.com if needed.

      It would appear the PinePower desktop power supply I bought from Pine Power has a defective wireless charger in it. It is so defective it damaged two LG V60s and a set of earbuds. Both used LG V60s stopped wireless charging after being placed on it. The brand new TOZO T6 True Wireless Earbuds charged for a minute then stopped and now will not wirelessly charge. I used two Anker wireless chargers to test the wireless charging of the devices and the Anker wireless chargers just flashed blue. But the LG V60s and earbuds charge with a wire so not a big deal. The PinePower desktop power supply is past its 30 day warranty period so no luck. Aw well.

    Switching the main board from a att phone to a TMobile phone (frame) will turn the last phone into an working att phone? I know might be a stupid question 🤔. Thank you!

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  2 года назад +2

      yes correct, but sometimes there are minor differences as far as antenna placement inside the frame etc. which may cause reception issues. Usually it's not the case but some phones have different versions for different carriers. Just make sure to move over everything you can from the original frame belonging to the same motherboard like the bottom sub board and small antenna board on the bottom corner and the top and bottom covers over the boards etc to make sure all those parts are the same match for the motherboard you are using.

      Hi, it's not too difficult. After you get to the point in the video where you remove the motherboard, the sim reader is on a flex cable which is adhered to the frame. You need to disconnect that other flex cable that is attached to the sim reader, and then pry off the sim reader flex cable from the frame and install your replacement one and re assemble everything.

    • @PBKreviews
      @PBKreviews  3 месяца назад +1

      You just need to remove the back cover, then the screws on the top motherboard plastic cover and the cover itself. At that point you will have access to disconnecting the battery cable and prying the battery off. You don't need to disconnect other stuff. Also you can use isopropyl alcohol to apply a few drops on the sides of the battery and let it sit for 20-30 seconds so it goes under the battery and eats away at the adhesive, making it easier to pry it off.
