The 2 best phones on the market right their along with the top phone Note 11 ultra. But the LG is 400 to 500 less with dual screen . I would buy the LG V60
The price difference is crazy. The Samsung is barely faster and the cameras on the v60 are super underrated. close the v60 comes with a second screen out of the box that you can attach to the phone to make it similar to the Samsung Galaxy fold. All for $800. also still has a headphone jack because LG actually listens to their customers and likes to keep features on their phone instead of removing them for BS reasons
@@chriswright8074 don't forgot the difference in the tap in phone, u could never tap those two at the same time without any difference What makes it worst in web apps and online games is the wifi prioritize the first to put the request to it, so if u tap the Galaxy first then the v60 the s20 will have an advantage due to it putting the request first
Not to mention that the LG V60 not only has a headphone jack, but also a Quad DAC that will drive a pair of studio headphones. Or with a headphone jack splitter, drive two really high quality headphones or earbuds, and share a movie easily while on a vacation flight.
Samsung competing at full power just barely beats LG who isn't even fighting the same fight. LG has created the perfect "practical choice" for a smartphone.
They both did great! Great to see them head to head and side by side like this. I think it was mostly a draw across the board. That does not bode well for the Samsung... The $1399 S20 Ultra should have smashed the $799 LG V60 in terms of value for dollar... And it didn't! A draw like this is really a major loss for Samsung!

I'm absolutely loving my dual screen V60. King of audio, true multitasking, great audio recording capability when doing videos. Samsung and Apple both have it beat on still image photography as the V60 lacks hardware zoom. The V60 it's fine as long add you're good with widescreen, 1x standard camera and 2x standard camera. Do a digital (software) zoom much past 2x and it's ok for Facebook posts but don't try and print the results. Given all the other HUGE pluses I'm ok with that one weak spot.
Other than being more clear on the zoom test, the LG wins this. Sure the load times for gaming will be faster with the more RAM but the actual gaming experience will be greater with the LG and its dual screen. Plus its $400+ cheaper than the Ultra. That's definitely a win for LG.
Talking about real gaming experience? Buy a gaming PC. I love LG smartphones coz of Durability, LGUX, Camera, Gorgeous Display & Heavenly Sound Quality not for "GAMING".
Pretty sure that Samsung has a similar dac. It has a 32 bit audio dac tuned by akg. It's for the USB c headphones that come free in the box. It's in the drop down settings. I can't imagine someone telling the difference between these two in dac performance. When comparing we can't just say quad dac and assume Samsung doesn't have an awesome dac too.
@@danecrandall The USB-C dongle with Samsung's DAC/tuning on the can't even stack up to Apple's USB-C dongle. That thing is so cool. It turns into a game pad, a keyboard, and another screen to run another app on. If you are going to spend a crazy price on a phone get the v60.

ln most stages there is only millisecond difference between LGs 8GB RAM and samsungs 16 GB RAM. V60s speakers are better than S20 ultra. And also not a big difference in that 1080p and 1440p.
On a small screen like this the human eye cant discern the difference. And, let me ask you a question? What cell carrier allows you to stream a movie at 2k on their network? What resolution is 4k downgraded to automatically even on wifi on a 2k screen?
When you add the second screen on the LG at $899, Samsung is no competition for value. Lg V60 is the first LG phone I have purchased since G2, always had Samsung Flagships. LG's Battery is amazing, getting 3-4 days on low usage. One of the best features of the LG besides the ones already quoted is the double tap on and off, wish my Samsungs had that, no need to press the power button to access the phone..
What is really note mentioned in any test is audio properties of V60 and whole LG V series: it not only has headphone jack, but it has an hi-fi dac/amplifier for music that's simply astonishing. Audio quality is also incredible in recording, where you can manually set during video many settings to get optimal result, that's a pro camera, that goes alongside whole manual control of camera in picture and video mode! Great video. But you forgot to mention the lg v60 is has mil-spec 810 rating. Which means it will handle drops and other extreme conditions much better than the s20. I also believe that the rating is true because I have a lg v40 and while it was falling (from about 5 feet) it hit metal and finally fell on its corner hitting concrete then bounced up and hit face first. Then it only had one little crack at the corner.

Here are a few things which your V40 is better at than V60: 1) V40 has a higher resolution screen at 1440p (QHD) as compared to V60's 1080p (Full HD) display. 2) V40 is Lighter by 49 grams and slimmer by 1.3mm than V60. 3) V40 has an extra wide angle front camera at 21mm, which also probably helps at creating better portraits. Even V60's standard front camera (30mm) is not wider than V40's standard front camera (26mm). 4) V40 has DLNA support. DLNA enables easy sharing of music, photos, and videos over wifi. So if these things matters to you then I would suggest you to wait for V70 at least. For me though, these things doesn't matter so I would've probably upgraded since V60 has everything else upgraded. Remember one thing! Android 10 will be V40's last major update, whereas, V60 will get major Android updates up until 2022.
because it came out the same time as G8 (which I got) and they were almost identical (besides a few things like 5G and battery size). only LG flagship I've missed the past few years but kind of regret not getting.
You have bunch of ultra on swappa .I v nevers seen so much brand new phones like ultra like that early, meaning one thing-consumers are not so satisfied.
The speed difference is only view miles second. Considering the price is much cheaper. Ill go for the V60.. One time. For now im fine with my G7 :) running android 10 still snappy
There's not much difference between 8, 12 or 16gb's of ram. Performance is almost equal. LG is hundreds cheaper. It's just a matter of choice. Of course if your running the 60hz display the s20 has 1440p display. But both phones perform admirably!
I have had LG V-xx products since the 20 and they are solid phones. My V-30 was starting to set foot in the grave so I went ahead and upgraded to the V-60. -My first impression is that this thing weighs a ton, compared to other phones. Mostly because it has a near-infinite battery supply and giant screen, but it is quite heavy. My other criticism is that the in-screen fingerprint sensor is absolute garbage, compared to older models with dedicated devices on the back. All in all, I really like the phone, but if I'm being honest, these two things, alone keep me from 'loving' it. The speakers on-board are a major step up from older models. UI, Camera, Screen Quality, Audio Quality are everything I would expect from an LG V-series. I don't live under a 5g tower and that wasn't even a factor in my buying it. It still has a headphone jack, can be charged wirelessly and sports a quick processor and removable storage. -gcollier02
Tbh I agree with the 5G thing I will get one, going from an Moto G4 and tbh the only model that has 5G working in my country is the EU model(saint grail of V60) but if works on 4G then is already great
would have already had it if it was the size of the v40 are even the v50 max. But I find the size just a little bit off putting. But I keep coming back to it, so I may end up with it anyway. Kind of waiting for May when LG is supposed to reveal what is taking the place of what would have been the G9 now that they discontinued the G series.
The speakers on both are super close in terms of quality, I think it’s about you to decide whether you liked more bass or treble. S20 Ultra surprisingly has a faster fingerprint scanner, though. Didn’t expect that. Both phones are great, but overall I prefer s20 ultra (putting price aside), especially after I’ve seen all the reviews about both and having s20 ultra myself. Value-wise, V60 is much better, you’ll get a lot for less. Your reviews are getting much better each time, dude! One of my favourite channels for comparisons.
The poster also had the home buttons set up different which allows for slight lag since the phone, in apps, has to make sure it can override with no problem.
I was with Samsung since the S3. Had the S5, S7, S7 edge, S8+, S10+...got tired of edge screens breaking prematurely on normal use. I was going to upgrade to the S20FE but realized they dumped my headphone jack and that was the last straw. I got the LG V60 dual screen in the mail. Only cost $699 with the dual screen. Samsung just lost a customer.
@westbender 820 true. Another reason I went with the LG V60. Expandable storage, headphone jack, stylus support, option for manual mode on camera, and a second screen with stylus support also as well as flat screens.
But are either of them using dual front facing speakers. Highly doubt it. The HTC One M9 had them and although not quite as loud as these probably, they sounded absolutely exceptional.
LG is back. And It has the 3.5mm jack connector. I will buy it just for that reazon. The smartphone brands doesn't understand that we want that connector.

1) V40 has a higher resolution screen at 1440p (QHD) as compared to V60's 1080p (Full HD) display.
@@turkishultranationalist Good
Bro LG V60 is a Beat in Rear and Front Camera and Audio ,so, it's a huge upgrade from V40 to V60
I just did the upgrade. So glad I did. 👍👍
Why you didn't do any videos about the V50
Or just make V50 vs V60 please
because it came out the same time as G8 (which I got) and they were almost identical (besides a few things like 5G and battery size). only LG flagship I've missed the past few years but kind of regret not getting.
@@PhoneBattles you should check it out also you miss important feature on the v60 like dac pen support second screen and some other
Juan Bagnell dose it. V50 vs V60, and Android Authority also.

I want the ultra but the price is just insane. I’ll wait for a price drop
You have bunch of ultra on swappa .I v nevers seen so much brand new phones like ultra like that early, meaning one thing-consumers are not so satisfied.
Funny how the iphone 11 pro max costs just as much and no one complains about the price then
@@dado380 or, people are reselling them to get some money since not many people have money to buy the ultra? Just sayin..
Go with plus, almost as good as ultra lower price point. Do you really need 100x zoom? Is 64 mp enough for you? I went with the plus
Nearly half the price for the v60
The speed difference is only view miles second. Considering the price is much cheaper. Ill go for the V60.. One time. For now im fine with my G7 :) running android 10 still snappy
It all depends on the internet
@Angel Montes Ambriz its in beta rn it will probably release in q3/q4 global
Guys im still using G2:(
😂😂This review sounds like a chef telling you recipe ingredients one by one😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
There's not much difference between 8, 12 or 16gb's of ram. Performance is almost equal. LG is hundreds cheaper. It's just a matter of choice. Of course if your running the 60hz display the s20 has 1440p display. But both phones perform admirably!
Both phones are awesome
Why don't you use Android 10 gestures for the S20 aswell?
just using the default settings as these are how most users will use the phones. i actually prefer buttons still.
I used the buttons for the v60 as well.
Casually plays both songs at the same time
Perfect timing at RUclips video👌
I totally agree - his timing was great!
$800 vs $1400 Smartphone
Balanced right ?
@@heliosaiden Well, if u have 1400 to spend for a phone its okay, but I think que V60 its really good for $800
Only a dumbass would spend 1000 plus for a freaking phone

-gcollier02
Tbh I agree with the 5G thing
I will get one, going from an Moto G4 and tbh the only model that has 5G working in my country is the EU model(saint grail of V60) but if works on 4G then is already great

Yeah I know what you mean I was with Samsung for years...... but you got to love the V60 dual screen lol
@@michaelg7948 mobile gaming has been forever changed for me,
Just jumped from Samsung to lg V60. Lg needs the business for the wonderful stuff they make
video audio much better on the LG.
I love lg device please push new software update time to time 😭😭😭😭
The price for either one of these phones isn't worth it I'll keep what I got
If we were dirt poor like you I would say the same
What phone do you have? Just curious what you'd have to have to not consider an upgrade
The boot up time is insignificant since the iPhone 7 with an A10 Fusion SoC boots up faster than the 11 Pro powered by an A13 Bionic SoC xD
claiming 511PPI AND 120hz is misleading. It's either FHD+ @120 or QHD
How tf did phones get to the point that they cost almost $1500??? This is inflation at its finest!
would have already had it if it was the size of the v40 are even the v50 max. But I find the size just a little bit off putting. But I keep coming back to it, so I may end up with it anyway.
Kind of waiting for May when LG is supposed to reveal what is taking the place of what would have been the G9 now that they discontinued the G series.
Getting the V60 soon, can't wait! I was very underwhelmed with the Galaxy S10 Ultra. Same with the S10 and Note 10 lineup. They've gotten boring.
Loving your accent man. Keep these videos coming great check list and honestly smooth transition between each.
I have an Lg G8s. Observing the performance of this v60. Greetings from Brazil, my friend.
Once you plug that second screen in, the LG curb stomps everything else on the market and sends it screaming home to Mama.
lol, yeah the dual screen is better than I expected
Just got rid of my note 10+ for a v60 with the dual screen, no Bixby and a headphones jack with fm radio
Plz do the test between the LG V60 ThinQ VS the Galaxy S20/S20 + instead of the S20 Ultra, to see how about RAM speed.
I'd like to, but don't have enough money to buy every version of the S20 line. I always go with the most expensive model.
I am loving the second screen and battery life of the LG. I'm very happy with this purchase
Irony is,yesterday ther was V 60 major softwer update aimed at fingerprint sensor. Now its like 50% faster.it would be cool if he test that.
@@dado380 that's cool, but is it really 50% faster or was that only an expression?

I love LG but personally there both great brands
I think both of them are perfect phone for using. I cant choose once
The poster also had the home buttons set up different which allows for slight lag since the phone, in apps, has to make sure it can override with no problem.
LG ❤️
No headphone jack of S20....DEAL BREAKER!
I got a V60 and I got a friend to get one too. I hope LGs new strategy pays off offering most of what power users need at a great pricet
Looking forward to the Battery Battle Video ☺️
But are either of them using dual front facing speakers. Highly doubt it. The HTC One M9 had them and although not quite as loud as these probably, they sounded absolutely exceptional.
yeah don't believe either are front facing
LG is back. And It has the 3.5mm jack connector. I will buy it just for that reazon. The smartphone brands doesn't understand that we want that connector.
Lg V60 also has great voice recording i guess. I am very suprised for LG Velvet too . I guess LG will come suprisingly good on middle range market ;)
