    Oh my gosh, I literally just bought fabric to create a Chanel inspired pants suit! I wasn’t sure how I would create the jacket, so this video is very helpful. Such perfect timing!!! You’re awesome.

    I had no intention of making yet another piece of tailoring this winter, but now I kinda have to! Already bought the pattern, will make this in the black bouclé à la Chanel and with silver hardware. Ooooh so exciting! 🥰 thanks for another beautiful pattern and amazing video!

    In English the zig zag stitch where your basting in the horsehair is called pad stitching 💞💞 thank you so much for the tutorial it’s fantastic 💕

      Thank you! I took the buckle from some pants I had in my wardrobe from mango - I bought them a couple of years ago tho. I thought it fits perfectly!

      Thank you! I don't underline jacket usually as I use interfacing for that. I underline my corsets though to give extra structure.

    No shame in using fusible hymo canvas. your pad stitching is a little more sparse than I'm used to. That poor scorched pocket bag.
    Overall you do a great job teaching tailoring processes to someone who may not be that familiar.
