Amazing skirt, as u said so easy, bought the pattern and did smthg that was helpful, thought of sharing. Left the lining opened at the zipper area so this gave me room for machine sewing the lining at the skirt bottom both front and back. Then i’ll hand stitch the zipper area. Love the pattern
omg you saved my life!!! my machine is ot for stretchy fabric so have never been able to sew stretchy fabric until I saw stretching method in one of your videos, today I tried it and it worked out perfectly!! I love you, you're georgeous.
For me lining just hits different than visible seams, how ever beautifully finished and it looks far more luxurious this way as in this skirt! Love the colir scheme 💚
Amazing work as always ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Re-create celebrity looks. It would help with the algorithm soooo much. More ppl would whatch your videos.
I've been looking for a pattern like this one for forever!! i actually already had the jacket pattern in my etsy car hehe. so glad this popped up on my recommended
this came out so overwhelmingly beautiful! You're such a talented seamstress and business lady, I admire you! One question: What material are the green fabrics (fashion & lining), is it poleyster? Just wondering whether you have preferences or if you take specific care to use natural fibers? (Because for me personally, one motivation to sew things myself is to cut out synthetics which you usually can't avoid when buying stuff in a store. Polyester is just uncomfy, sweaty, I have to cringe when I touch it, attracts all the dust, and quickly starts to look used (like developing little knubs everywhere, and when it's cold it doesn't keep you warm, and vice versa you get an instant heat explosion as soon as it's too warm.. oof so many things I hate about polyester.)
Hi! Thank you so much! 🥰 Yes I always try to chose natural fibers over synthetic. The Bouclé is 80% cotton and 20% polyester which was the best mix available at my local fabric store. The lining is 100% rayon which I always specifically ask for as I really don't like working with synthetic lining (which is usually acetate btw). I don't like working with synthetic fabrics for the simple fact of them being plastic and also all the factors you listed. It's really disappointing to put so much effort into a garment and then having it destroyed after a few wears like the small knubs you described. Horrible!!
I don't have the confidence to wear such a short skirt, but it looks amazing with the jacket. Having them both at the same hem length, at first it seems scandalous. But then you see the skirt and it's suddenly not, despite the length being the same still. It leaves such an impression. Really chic.
Hey! Do you have any resources for upscaling your patterns? I really love this skirt and would love to make it but with a 132 hip it is never going to happen :)
Hi I had a question making this as a beginner, The very first piece that you open up has been folded but I can’t find in the instructions on where it says to fold, this is my very first paper pattern so I’m wondering did I miss something? I love your designs and I’ve bought a few off your Etsy 🤍
Hi! Do you mean the front? It's folded at the center front - i just checked the pattern and the "cf-fold" is missing. Sorry about that! But the longest straight line is the center front (cf) which is the fold line. Cut the piece out on a folded fabric 😊
Please do conversions when you put your patterns for purchase on Etsy. In America we use inches. I can convert centimeters. I don’t even know if I can purchase your pattens because the system you use is so foreign. As a beginner it’s the patience you need when sewing and learning to sew and dealing with the measurements can add extra frustration. I’m a little disappointed because even researching the the measurements to convert them is so confusing.

I really love your work. Question: if instead of closing the waist first, we close the front openings first? is it possible?
Love it!
Increíble. Me encanto

What sort of covering do you have on your table that allows you to iron on it? I’m getting sick of my uneven ironing board 😭
That is awesome
Beautifull 🥰🥰🥰🥰
