  • The plaintiff says the defendant wrongfully towed her truck but never called her, so she's suing for the tow fee and travel expenses. The defendant argues the county sheriff's office asked him to tow the vehicle because it was abandoned with no plates. The defendant insists he sent letters to the plaintiff informing her about the vehicle, but she ignored him. The defendant is countersuing for tow and storage fees.

The planttiff is lucky she's not in jail. Who comes on national television and admits to leaving their car not only unlocked, but with the keys still in it. She said she was hoping it would be taken, what she was really hoping for is that someone would steal it and she could file a false insurance claim and get the vehicle paid off. She wasn't expecting the police to have it towed before someone stole it. Maybe she should have just put a for sale sign in the window and sold it. Now she not only owes the finance company over $8,000.00, she also has to pay the judgment (well, the people's court does). But she's still out all that money just because she was trying to wait for someone to steal it, lol.
