use crystal salt + warm water to gargle. gargle before u sleep or early morning before u brush . make sure while gargling , let the water reach your throat . don't swallow it , anyways nothing gonna happen if u swallow it :)

Doctor. Why do I have the worst sore throat I have ever had and I have absolutely no other symptoms. No cough, no congestion in nose or throat. What works better than salt water is Italian Salad Dressing! I had a very bad sore throat and as many others did, I used salt water, But I really couldn't gargle it for some reason. After trying for several days and barely eating, I was craving a salad of tomatoes, cucumber and onions drenched in Italian salad dressing. This seemed to really help, and I believe it's because of the oil sticking to my throat, which helps sooth a very dry sore throat. In case anyone is wondering what brand of Italian Dressing I used, it's Ken's. Unlike the warm salt water, try Italian Dressing instead. Make a salad or have a little cup of Italian Dressing to drink. My belief is it works better the salt water because it sticks to your throat to coat it, where the salt water will wear off in a couple of seconds. Italian Dressing, who knew? And it tastes better, too!
I got COVID on top of the flu. I conquered COVID but the damn flu won't die. Now I'm suffering from sore throat & there's nothing I can do. Thinking of shooting a hole in it
You should also have mentioned CHX, chlorhexidine. Doing a mouthwash with over the counter CHX twice a day 0.12% can really help. This should not be used long term. It also may discolor teeth. Finally naming (not to be confused with brand name) of an NSAID for oral use could have also helped. Benzydamine is a good option. I am obviously against recommending a specific brand. But I am very much in favor of educating people with basic pharmacy related vocabulary.
I got Covid a couple of days ago. I've reduced my antacid reflux meds a few weeks ago to half on the advice of my GP, Now I'm finding; I have flows of brash that foamy stuff that's clearly not really real mucus.
