The Sister Schubert rolls are delicious, they're my go to! On another note, Matt, I dig your tie, it's my fav 💜 Happy Thanksgiving to you and your wonderful family, Matt!
We are headed to Aldi's for the cart with drawers. I got into jewelry making recently & been looking for a cart. TY Sidenote: Rao's is pronounced Ray-Os Another great video 👍
When you picked up the fries and dinner rolls, you missed one of my favorite holiday items that ALDI did not have last year-the sweet potato casserole in the blue box! A store employee remarked “oh, you’re looking for the one that will give you diabetes?” I love it! It has brown sugar and pecans on top. I always buy at least 3 of them. They are superb!
Rinse your rice before cooking. Cover the rice with water, agitate and drain. Repeat until the water is clear. It makes the rice less starchy and sticky. Also, I finely mince fresh ginger and put in my rice cooker before cooking. It’s a Hello Fresh recipe, and it is DELICIOUS! Thank you for your videos!
@@llaftsewyelrebmik5103 if you buy sushi rice it will be sticky regardless. I like it too with seared ahi tuna and sautéed spinach . Yum! The rinse trick just works better for a long grain rice.
ProTip: Aldi's "Specially Selected" Premium Marinara Sauce *is* Rao's Marinara Sauce $2.89. Rao's company was sold, and thats why they have so many different flavors now. $6-7 vs $2.89. From the same factory w/ same ingredients. No joke. I was shocked too.
I seriously live vicariously through your Aldi's Things You Should Buy videos because not one of the stores in my area ever have what you're encouraging us to check out.

Matt, again you always keep me informed on deals here at Aldi’s! I gotta go get those garlic fries and snowman hot chocolate! You are so energetic! Thanks man!😊
One thing you did miss was the Milk Chocolate Sea Salted Cashews, there is a Dark Chocolate version too. They are usually on an end cap facing the meat/dairy section with the Charcutier items. I try to stock up on these since they are only around during the holidays. After you devour the cashews, soak the labels off the containers, they make great stackable storage containers for screws, tacks, beads, etc.
The pantry organizers are fantastic and the turntables at Aldi (lg & sm) are best I’ve ever found - nothing falls out even when enthusiastically spun! My motorhome is a rolling Aldi ad!
I always smile when you say "I love you" at the end lol. I feel like a little kid just giggling ! "concern , intrigue , and confusion".. sounds like my life lol.
I LOVE, love those tumblers! I bought one a few years ago and liked it, but when I went back to buy another...they were out. I waited and waited and waited. The price is up $3 but I still bought this year's model and LOVE it too. The silicone coating makes it easy to grab and the silicone bottom makes it so it doesn't slide. Best thermo I own! Great colors. And it really does keep things cold.
The hefty trash holder also has a divider under the lid top that you can use to divide the trash into trash and recycles. The is a place to push to release it from under the lid. That way you can actually put two bags in the holder.
Seriously? Damn. I truly need like, 4 of those. I’m lazy, and I recycle- but I end up with a pile of plastic & aluminum cans that I have to bag up & walk “all the way to the garage” to dispose of, in our giant recycle bins lol.. thank you for the info! The lid helps too- for us with curious pets who have police K9 level scent-tracking abilities! ….I really should ask around if anyone needs my insane Boston terrier to go search for things……. I just pictured him as a real PD K9- never mind, he would only sniff things in between his naps. 🙃
Friends! The UNIVERSAL COOKING LIDS are fabulous!! We got rid of all our odds and ends lids and have two different sizes of the universals! They really work!!
I have a young friend who was raised to believe that Aldi was poor quality for poor families. I'll be sharing this video with her. I love Aldi, love their history, love the cool stuff they carry. And, I love your quirky, informative videos. If anyone can convince my friend to give aldi a try, it's you, Matt!
I have bought several items from Aldis, a circulating fan, a vacuum cleaner, locking glass storage bowls to name a few and have been 100% happy with everything. I love Aldis and you make it fun to shop there! Carry on! 😄
The a in Rao's is long vowel sound. It is a small restaurant in East Harlem and you have to wait months for a reservation. But that sauce is outstanding. I will have to check my local Aldi's. Thanks for sharing.
We bought a queen size mattress at Aldi years ago and I can say I will NEVER go back to a traditional mattress again! I love getting into bed each night, and wake up in the morning without back pain. That alone is worth the very reasonable price for a new mattress. They sell out fast, so get to Aldi asap if you need a new mattress. You'll be glad you did!
I think it is extremely weird that they have significantly different prices at different Aldis. At an Aldis on an affluent area, they had the sewing machine for $59 and another Aldi about 5 miles away, it was only $39.
I’ve never seen a price difference but I have seen significant differences in availability between stores, and when advertised products are actually put out. Which does get annoying.
I think the manager of each store has the authority to decide when to mark down items that don't sell quickly; a way to make space on the shelves for the new items coming in.
Another welcome video-in-bed, with Matt! But I’m quickly up and out the door for my 3 ALDI run looking for pantry organizers, Advent Calendars, Pumpkin Snickerdoodles and the other great finds from Matt’s video. Thank you always brighten my day with your energy and enthusiasm!
The milk jug candles are great gifts for crafty family and friends that love repurposing. As a crafter, I can tell you that milk jug has lots of potential. Maybe grab two as a gift so it's a set to repurpose
There's only one Aldi in Burbank so I didn't know that Aldi's had different prices until I watched this video and read the comments. I went to the Aldi website and read the part that mentions " Aldi pricing " and it says if you bring your receipt in for something that you purchased at Aldi and find it at another Aldi for a lesser price they will make a price adjustment and give you the refund It also says they don't price match. Love your deals, Deal Guy!!!
Saw this and immediately took my husband’s card and ran to Aldi. I love that wooden cutting board! Mine was 14.99, rather than 12.99, but so worth it. It’s MASSIVE.
Love you and your channel! Wanted to chime in and tell everyone that the Sister Schubert's roll are fabulous! Love, love, love! Can't wait to get to my Aldi's! Thanks for the amazing content!
FYI for anyone on keto, low carb, or diabetic diets Aldi’s pepperoni cauliflower crust pizza is really really good. I only added some more Turkey pepperoni and baked it. I like it as well as any pizza place like Pizza Hut and better than any frozen pizza I’ve tried.
I went to Aldi's yesterday and was literally thinking about you the whole time (bestie!). I need to buy a mattress and finding one at Aldi's...! But they only had king and I need a queen, so I might try my other Aldi's today. They didn't have my fave pizza, so I bought that garlic flatbread you showed and am actually eating it now. I added pizza spices and some mushrooms on top. It is *chef's kiss!* I still laugh about how I bought sleeping bags at Aldi's years ago. I still have them! I buy stollen at Aldi's every year and was excited to see it yesterday. I usually get marzipan, but this year I got the almond bc the sugar content is lower.
...and then I realized that I need a double, not a queen, so I returned it. Wah. I think your video hyped me up too much and I wasn't thinking clearly, LOL.
Rao is, without a doubt, THE best pasta sauce! I’ve had several Italian moms tell me that it’s as good as, if not better than, what they slave hours over a hot stove making. When it’s on sale, or at ALDI’s, stock up! You will not be disappointed.
Thank you ! So many wonderful things in this video! I love Advent calendars, candles cutting boards and those pumpkin thingys. Also that storage roller thing. I must go to my local Aldi's!
I’ve noticed the prices on even produce vary from store to store so I check the ads for several stores in my area before heading out. Raspberries varied from $.1.49 to $1.99 between stores a few weeks ago. Love your videos!
Yesterday, I went to Aldi (my local stores have the weekly seasonal items typically a week behind the flyers for some odd reason). I was able to make a healthy purchase on a whim. Thanks to you, I snagged an air fryer for way less than a Phillips or Ninja (those prices require lots of review reading and and research). I haven’t tried it yet as I’m looking for healthy recipes to use my new air fryer for, but I’m excited to try it. It’s healthier for me, easier to clean up than a Fry Daddy or several cups of oil from my cast iron skillet - so it is also better for the environment. That’s a win-win! Thanks Matt! 😸💜
I am a new customer of Aldis thanks for the tips‼️💯 Very Keto friendly, such a good selection, lost over 20 lbs in a little over a month. Happy Holidays ✨
I tried those jalapeño cranberry meatballs, at dinner and quickly decided they are a delicious breakfast meat, we love them with pancakes/waffles/French toast and eggs
The Butterball-cooked smoked turkey for $1.99/pound is amazing! I buy it every year for Thanksgiving. Just defrost and heat up for about 1 1/2 hours. It looks like Martha Stewart made it & is the best-tasting turkey I've ever had.
I think it was similar to what you showed…same brand, but might have upgraded features by now. If they are similar, it’s probably a firm mattress, so if you like fluffy it may not be for you. But mine works for me, and as a student at the time I bought it the price was definitely right!
@@thedealguy - I’m grateful You cover all the deals that you do with your vlogs. I was just replying how I had just purchased that DELICIOUS Rao’s sauce. It’s true, for those that don’t have a Costco membership, they can get really good deals through your vlogs. BONUS is that they can also get assorted flavors as to where Costco is that ONE standard flavor 😝 Keep those amazing vlogs coming! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
We bought the hefty garbage bin to take our recycling off the counter and loved the duality of it! Found the same one at Walmart for double the price, so glad I got it at Aldi!
This is the best video of things you should buy at Aldi’s. It made me jump to my car and head up to there. I agree with you, Rao’s is the best pasta sauce, my favorite one is the Bolognese flavor. Tyfs!!! You definitely rock in this video Matt 👏🏻 I can’t wait for your Black Friday deals. In the look up for IRobot Roomba and for a dash camera. Thanks again!
Saw a Screamin Sicilian frozen pizza in the background. Those are so good if you haven’t tried them. The cheese one is so tasty. Those leaf scoops are a trip!
Rice cookers are versatile. First, throw rinsed rice in the pot. Then add water to the first knuckle of your index finger when that finger is placed on, not in, the rice. Cover and let the rice cooker do the rest. It will let you know when it’s done. I’ve cooked farro in the rice cooker. 1 cup rinsed farro to 3 cups water. Takes about 45 mins to cook, but it’s all hands off.
I love watching your show/ updates of the different stores!! Thank you so very much for doing these & giving us the updated!! Cant go wrong listening to you!! AWESOME THANK YOU SO VERY VERY MUCH!! ❤️🙏🏻 Happy Holidays
Thanks for the videos! We thought the seven cheese pizza was just okay. We did love the Flatbread though. My local Aldi stores had Thankgiving Cactus for sale this week. They produce the most beautiful blooms around the holidays!

BONUS is that they can also get assorted flavors as to where Costco is that ONE standard flavor 😝 Keep those amazing vlogs coming! 👍👍👍👍👍👍
@@thedealguy I don’t have a Costco membership so I do appreciate it! They are too far away for a membership to be worth it.
Tyfs!!!
You definitely rock in this video Matt 👏🏻
I can’t wait for your Black Friday deals. In the look up for IRobot Roomba and for a dash camera.
Thanks again!

Your blogs are the best!!!!!!
Great video. Thank you. Cracked me up a few times as well!!!
Saw a Screamin Sicilian frozen pizza in the background. Those are so good if you haven’t tried them. The cheese one is so tasty. Those leaf scoops are a trip!
Love it! Knocked it out of the park again
Thanks Art!!
Aldi has the best holiday treats! We love the pfeffernusse cookies and the marzipan!
Thanks Matt
Great ideas! Especially the. Melting snowman!!
