I am an employee at dollar tree, in Riverside California and we had to spend the night changing all the signs and papers to $1.25, the 6th of December is the first day that our stores prices went up to $1.25. Although we still have a lot of food items that are still $1. Just thought as an employee I'd let you know what my stores done!!
Matt could have wandered to the kitchen section and gotten a $1 funnel so he can pour the Spic and Span into the spray bottle. I'm talking from experience. Haha. I love Dollar Tree and definitely cut down my trips to Target for my cleaning supplies. Definitely getting the Lime Away bowl cleaning during my next trip.

Actually, I believe "Toast'ems" were produced before "PopTarts" were even on the shelves! (we had the former when I was a little girl back in the 60s, 🤗 my favorite being the Brown Sugar Cinnamon.) 😍
Don't forget storage containers make great gift baskets... and if you need large quantities of things like drinkware they do sell them on their website... worth a look if you have time for delivery and in some cases still cheaper than other stores. The ice trays also work for jello shots - both adult and kid version, ice cream (great for cake and pie alamode decor), and butter pats (flavored or regular)
I bought 6 of those white long storage containers 5 years ago and they are wonderful. They freeze great and hold up. They finally are developing cracks and need to be replaced, glad to see they are back. I have the smaller containers with the vented orange lids and use the heck out of them to. Both are dishwasher safe!

Not only for chocolate and ice but can use them as molds for cookies and or when you use clay.. I would use them as clay and add a tag on them and put on top of a gift.. Put a small hole at the top and can be used as a ornament after you paint it of course.. I really appreciate you for sharing many good ideas.. Many blessings.. Happy Holidays!!

I share your videos with my family & friends so it helps them save money as well. I also wanted to let you know that you can use those molds for more than just making ice cubes or chocolates. They can be used in the microwave and for baking as well. They also make great jello molds too. But you can also use them for crafting. They're great for making soaps, reuse broken crayons and turn them into creative crayon molds, you can even use them for candle making, or even molds for modeling clay projects as well. Hi THE DEAL GUY! Our Dollar Trees have not changed prices yet but there's talk about it here in Massachusetts. The BOOK BIN that you featured in this video at 4:57 has a side clip like piece along the edge that fastens to another book bin! I bought those last year and enjoy them more knowing that they don't fall over. You can clip multiple bins together! Also, I use two (together) to hold foil, plastic wrap, parchment paper and food storage bags boxes under our sink. You can also use them to hold spaghetti boxes or sauce packets in your pantry. I bought 3 of those bins to organize small items in my garden shed that always get misplaced. Hand diggers, scissors, ball of twine, Twisties ties, garden glove pairs, hand clippers. If you have a small bin to put them in then you know where they are for the next use. Spending $3 has saved me a lot of time looking for these items. Grab and go!

The oval ones I got last year have a problem with the lids. Either too big or too tight, can't get it on or off. I use them to collect coins or buttons now.
This is perfect, I didn't know they had a plastic dish drying tray! I also purchased the silicone sink drain cover & the metal mesh one for the other side & I love them both! I can't pick a favorite; the silicone is easiest to clean but the metal mesh definitely catches more hair & debree, so pick based on your needs.
I’ve been using the LimeAway toilet cleaner for a while now. I lie the wintergreen scent as opposed to the bleach smell other brands have. It don’t set off my allergies, and right now give a fresh, holiday scent to the bathroom without extra air fresheners.
Loved this! There's always something new to find at the DT. If anyone needs sugar free beverages, I've been finding lots of diet juices, Nestle Splash drinks (in packs of 4 or 6 bottles), and Hint drinks.

I am so jealous that your dollar tree has so many items. I've seen some of these items, but many I haven't. Several of the dollar trees in my area have whole shelving units empty. I think I'll venture to others ones as you showed a LOT of great buys. Thank you for always going all out. Oh, and when it comes to the pop-tart knock off, my son will quickly tell you it's a sin to put pop-tarts in the toaster. You absolutely picked the best flavor. That's his fav. In my area (Corpus Christi, Tx) the Dollar Tree employees told me they are paid $7.25/hr. Their job duties include stocking shelves, working the check out aisle, helping customers find items and trying to prevent shoplifting, all usually while working alone.
I have bought the solar lights for 6 years and they all still work!!!!I just add a few new ones every year.The santa chair covers are great and Ive seen them on Amazon for up to $10 each!!!

And like your wife I have a cricut so we can personalize them to make them extra special and let the recipient know we did a little extra for them without breaking the bank! Unfortunately, I have had the opposite experience. I purchase them year after year and not a single one worked. A very few worked one day and that was it. One item I feel is a total waste of money.

That lime away toilet bowl cleaner is amazing!!! Poured some in sandwich bag wrapped it around shower head secured w/ rubberband overnight, completely declogged it.

Matt, those silicone molds can usually be used for art activities like pouring resin. I always write SILICONE ONLY on mine just to be safe. So glad you're rested and the family is doing well!
Agree. Any plastic in microwave is bad, even if it says safe for microwave. Those chemicals in it leech into your food and cause problems in your body!

My local Dollar Tree has already gone up 25 cents on everything in store, so it cost me $5 for four items. Still not too bad in the grand scheme of things but I can see where this would possibly hurt folks on a very strict budget.
I picked up the silicone drain covers this past summer for my kitchen in black. They're great for everyday use & can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning with no issues. I wish they made a smaller size for bathroom sink drains.
I wish that my Dollar Trees in and around Nashville, TN had a 1/3rd of what you showed. There are almost as many empty shelves as full ones and it has been this way for months. I love your channel otherwise.

The oval white food storage is great I use them all the time. Not leak proof if tipped over but I still like them. Dawn dish soap cleans spaghetti stains off them easily

I've made candy cane sticks with the dollar tree pool noodles and put the dollar powered light bulbs on top. The toilet cleaner is the only brand that works with our water. I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for all of your tips.
I ordered the Christmas bulb solar lights on Dollar Tree's website and had them delivered to my local store because I wanted to line my walkway and didn't want them to sell out. I am really happy with them so far.

At my Dollar Tree in North Texas I watched as the prices were being changed. A whole crew of employees from other DT stores came in as a group to quickly made the change happen. It's real and it's here. First week in December.
Prices here in Lancaster, California are now $1.25 for everything. One exception is the greeting cards which are still 2 for $1.00 or 50 cents each. Still crowded with people looking for great deals, though. Thanks for your informative videos!

Did you know about the side clip that keeps the bins steady and together? Not sure if it would help in your shed, knowing you take the bin with you as you work, but still a cool feature.

The oval ones I got last year have a problem with the lids. Either too big or too tight, can't get it on or off. I use them to collect coins or buttons now.
This is perfect, I didn't know they had a plastic dish drying tray! I also purchased the silicone sink drain cover & the metal mesh one for the other side & I love them both! I can't pick a favorite; the silicone is easiest to clean but the metal mesh definitely catches more hair & debree, so pick based on your needs.

I’ve been using the LimeAway toilet cleaner for a while now. I lie the wintergreen scent as opposed to the bleach smell other brands have. It don’t set off my allergies, and right now give a fresh, holiday scent to the bathroom without extra air fresheners.

Loved this! There's always something new to find at the DT. If anyone needs sugar free beverages, I've been finding lots of diet juices, Nestle Splash drinks (in packs of 4 or 6 bottles), and Hint drinks.

I am so jealous that your dollar tree has so many items. I've seen some of these items, but many I haven't. Several of the dollar trees in my area have whole shelving units empty. I think I'll venture to others ones as you showed a LOT of great buys. Thank you for always going all out. Oh, and when it comes to the pop-tart knock off, my son will quickly tell you it's a sin to put pop-tarts in the toaster. You absolutely picked the best flavor. That's his fav. Everyone, all the way back to his high school days, thinks of my son when they even hear the word pop-tart. 😊

@@browncatwithblurredbackgro2461 our prices haven't gone up, it's the price of gas that keeps me home more. Ca has horrible prices. Many of our stores have empty shelves. I wonder how they decide who will get supplies, and who won't.

The Dollar Tree is awesome 🥰 unfortunately,they're having a hard time getting people to work these stores in my area. They are appreciated by us shoppers! Supplies go fast!
In my area (Corpus Christi, Tx) the Dollar Tree employees told me they are paid $7.25/hr. Their job duties include stocking shelves, working the check out aisle, helping customers find items and trying to prevent shoplifting, all usually while working alone.

Same problems in my area (Philadelphia,Pa) stores close at 5pm.

I have bought the solar lights for 6 years and they all still work!!!!I just add a few new ones every year.The santa chair covers are great and Ive seen them on Amazon for up to $10 each!!!

And like your wife I have a cricut so we can personalize them to make them extra special and let the recipient know we did a little extra for them without breaking the bank! Unfortunately, I have had the opposite experience. I purchase them year after year and not a single one worked. A very few worked one day and that was it. One item I feel is a total waste of money.

That lime away toilet bowl cleaner is amazing!!! Poured some in sandwich bag wrapped it around shower head secured w/ rubberband overnight, completely declogged it.

Matt, those silicone molds can usually be used for art activities like pouring resin. I always write SILICONE ONLY on mine just to be safe.

Yes. please don't ever microwave plastic. Especially if it isn't bpa free. Disrupts the hormones....especially in men.
Agree. Any plastic in microwave is bad, even if it says safe for microwave. Those chemicals in it leech into your food and cause problems in your body!
We love those baskets. I use them for organizing our homeschool flashcards, socks for each childs drawer, and spices in the pantry.

Don't stop the deals and ideas... I take screen shots of everything you feature that I "NEED" and I use it as a shopping list! I also show employees the pic if I can't find the item. Maybe others can do the same! Yes, pause the video and take a screen shot!
The banks shown... we fill them throughout the year, multiple banks, and gift them to family as gifts! No idea how much is in each bank, lol! Just an idea for you and others. THANKS for another great video!

So many goodies! Last weekend I bought some vinyl for a friend that couldn't find any. We had to go to a different county to find it, but so worth it, for a dear friend.

My local Dollar Tree has already gone up 25 cents on everything in store, so it cost me $5 for four items. Still not too bad in the grand scheme of things but I can see where this would possibly hurt folks on a very strict budget.

I picked up the silicone drain covers this past summer for my kitchen in black. They're great for everyday use & can be put in the dishwasher for cleaning with no issues. I wish they made a smaller size for bathroom sink drains.
I wish that my Dollar Trees in and around Nashville, TN had a 1/3rd of what you showed. There are almost as many empty shelves as full ones and it has been this way for months. I love your channel otherwise.

For the cleaning spray I always cut it with water. Usually 3 parts cleaner and one part water.
Toast'ems were the original pastry Pop Tart knocked off of.. These were foods from the 1960's so I remember it well.

I bought some of the new pastel baskets to hold my rolled up towels and washcloths in my kitchen. The color matched my kitchen perfectly!!
The oval white food storage is great I use them all the time. Not leak proof if tipped over but I still like them. Dawn dish soap cleans spaghetti stains off them easily

I've made candy cane sticks with the dollar tree pool noodles and put the dollar powered light bulbs on top. The toilet cleaner is the only brand that works with our water. I would recommend it to everyone. Thanks for all of your tips.

I ordered the Christmas bulb solar lights on Dollar Tree's website and had them delivered to my local store because I wanted to line my walkway and didn't want them to sell out. I am really happy with them so far.
I get those plastic champagne glasses for new years for my kids. I fill them with ginger ale. That way it looks fancy for them. They love it.

At my Dollar Tree in North Texas I watched as the prices were being changed. A whole crew of employees from other DT stores came in as a group to quickly made the change happen. It's real and it's here. First week in December.

Prices here in Lancaster, California are now $1.25 for everything. One exception is the greeting cards which are still 2 for $1.00 or 50 cents each. Still crowded with people looking for great deals, though. Thanks for your informative videos!
