    I was a saucier for years. I would have never tried pickles/gherkins in a sauce! I cant wait to make this, whether I like it or not will not matter. I'm curious how these flavors mesh with the texture of a pickle and a meat. Very exciting!

    This looks delicious. Have never heard of this sauce before. Can't wait to try it with my chops. Love pickles, it sounds interesting that these are in the recipe.

    I've been searching for you thought you had left because could not find you 😭 Sooo happy to get this video 🤗 pork yummy yummy love in my tummy 😘 This look's TOTALLY delicious and a wonderful classic comfort food ❤️ I will use the broth and knowing your amazing 💯 alternative ingredients it will be another " keeper recipe" thank you my angel food Chef for another delightful presentation and meal 💞🐾🐾💞 a thought Please _ would a dash of double thick cream or double thick Greek yoghurt be a good addition to your delicious sauce or would it spoil it? Just had this thought 😘

      Thanks Caryn! I have had a few subscribers say they are not getting my video notification from YT and are having trouble finding my videos. I am not sure why?? Yes, experimenting with the sauce is a great idea - if you wanted to add a little cream or yoghurt you could😊👍

    What type of Gherkins do you suggest for this recipe please? I live in the Shenandoah Valley, and they have a massive variety of Gherkins at our markets here (sweet, dill, garlic, etc..). Do you suggest a savory or a more sweet... or something like a French Cornichon? Thanks for any help, and I love this channel.

      I would suggest either a beef, chicken or vegetable stock or possibly water. Let me know how it turns out👍

    I'm an addicted sauceaholic. Not to be overly critical, but you must have cromagnum sized fingers. Your idea of a 'pinch' looks closer to 1/4 teaspoon or so to me.
    Keep up the good work!

      Wonderful point Al. The great thing about making a homemade sauce is that you can make it to taste. If you like the taste of a sauce when using the fat from the protein- then use it. If you like the taste of the sauce using the degreasing technique - then go for it. There is no right or wrong way - only the tasty way😊
