Most people these days would have just chucked the chair in the dumpster. Your brother-in-law knew you could rescue it and you kept it out of the land fill! Nice work R.K.!
Thanks Matt!! It's funny, almost everyone I know with these type of chairs picked them outta the Gabbige!!☻
What a sweet design- repairable without any unnecessary disassembly. Awesome job!! 😃👍
Thank you Mate!!☻
I'M sure uncle Bobby was thrilled with chair. You never cease to amaze me. Is there anything you can't do. I always love watching you work no matter what it is your doing!
Thank you Bob!!☻
That finishing touch at the end was just perfect.
Oh, and don't worry about the wind noise, at our age a little wind noise is inevitable 😅
Thanks Chris!!☻
You're on a roll, reupholstering everything now!!!
Yeah, we have time to do it now that the old truck is finished!!☻
Outstanding work, RoadKing. Thanks to your skillful repair, Uncle Bobby will be able to fart into those chairs for years to come!
Thanks Roy!! I'm fine with that, as long as he don't Shart in them!!☻
Very nice! I have seen others attempt that, but yours are the only ones that look factory! Thanks for the video!
Thanks alot Mark!!☻
You are a man of many talents, EJ. Nice work!
Thank you Buddy!!☻
Excellent job, that machine is very useful, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
Thank you Donald!! Yeah that Machine is great for stuff like that!!☻
It's so nice to repair something that would've gone to the trash otherwise :)
Yeah Buddy!!☻
You're one talented individual.
Thank you Wyatt!! As are you my friend!!☻
Lookin' good! Mrs Magdad likes it too!
Thank you Magdad's!!☻
Looks great.
My wheelchair seat and back are assembled the same way. Was thinking about redoing them black with red diamond stitching. Keep up the great work, it's inspiring.
Thanks Spud!! That would look cool!! Next time I use a Diamond pattern on something I think I try a double stitch diamond!!☻
You have this upholstery thing down did you have your own business doing this so good 👌🏼 I looked back to some of your older videos 14 years wow I think I started watching a couple of years now ! I think Bruce was the one who mentioned you on one of his videos ! Nice work as always !!!
No disrespect to Rk. I love the bloke and he quite often does a better job of it than I think I would have after doing 2 1/2 yrs of the trade apprenticeship, but he (and I doubt he'd argue this) is a long way from pro standards. He is also stubborn to not perform some industry tips that I give him. He's better than me though.
Cheers.
Thanks Bill!! Always did the upholstery on my own stuff since the 70's!! It's hard to believe I'll doing this YT stuff for 15 years at the end of May!!☻
Bloody nice job on that mate. Well done RK. cheers.
Thank you Vic!!☻
Hey RK, looks much better - liked and shared - have a fantastic day!
Thanks Jack!!☻
You can do anything!!!!
Thanks Rodney!!☻
Oh geez, now I might have to do my patio chairs!!
Piece of cake Bud!!☻
Hi!! Long time missing. Stuff happens I guess. Just nice to hear your voice! 😊
Looks beautiful, great work!
Thank you Jesper!!☻
Very nice! Tight like white on rice!
Thanks Terry!!☻
I have some like this, but the slotted part is rusting. Probably past rescue.
Great work there RK.
Looks like a brand new chair I like your sticker that you put on your chair seals the deal thank you for the video
Thank you Lil' Joe!!☻
Looks really nice RK, 👍🏻😎
Thanks Bud!!☻
You did good work sir, looks like brand new again 😎
Thank you John!!☻
No sitting down on the job until the chairs are built... :P
Nice job as always! I loved the sticker at the end :) Is your Pfaff a commercial or heavy-duty machine?
Thank you Chris!! The Pfaff is a Commercial Machine, I bought it off an Old Lady, she gave me a great deal on it!! The machine I used on this chair is a Sailrite LSZ-1, it's not technically a Commercial Machine but a super Heavy Duty machine designed to make Sails for Sailboats!! It was a Christmas present from the Wife a few years ago so I could do the seats in my F100!!☻
RK: Always an interesting, informative and entertaining Video. Thank You.
There’s a good chance jr and I are coming to the Jack Town show in May… look forward to seeing you guys
Cool!! We'll be there!!☻
