  • HI All!
    Thanks for tuning into todays episode on Underground Upholstery. In this video, I take two Adirondack chairs that were left on the side of the road, and give them a complete makeover. This was a fun project and the results are simply amazing. Please take a moment to comment your thoughts!

    I'm amazed at your sewing talent. I also loved the tip you shared on how to squeeze the foam into the smaller opening of the cover. I'll be using that tip for sure in some of my future projects. Thanks!

      Hahah thanks. I agree!! There’s something to be said about aqua, but when in doubt…. Brown it is.

      Hi sayya. To clean it I use simple green and then wiped it down with alcohol to make sure there was no oil residue from my fingers and what not.

      Yes. Too bad I could not get the magic marker marks off. I tend to like making more work for myself. Thanks for watching.

      @@undergroundupholstery for removing magic marker, cover it with a dry erase marker and wipe off. Repeat if you need too. I worked at an elementary school. Lol

    Do you have to use spray paint?

      Sorry for the delay! Nope anything that adheres to plastic should work!

    How many spray cans did you use. I could not complete one chair with one can.

    • @undergroundupholstery
      @undergroundupholstery  Год назад

      Thanks for watching. I used roughly 2- 2.5 cans per chair. Might have been a little much but I covered everything very thoroughly.

    Howmany cans per chair?

    • @undergroundupholstery
      @undergroundupholstery  5 месяцев назад

      I believe I used 5 cans in total so roughly 2.5/ 3 per chair. Just start with the tough to reach spots first and the rest covers nicely. Two years in the sun and they still look like new

  • @romevenier466

    3 cans per chair is more expensive than new chairs

      Yeah…. cleaning products ,materials, and a 12 pack of beer so I’m probably in the hole a little. You got a point… but it was a fun project.
