Ah! There really is a time and place for those kinds of journals-even for ink nuts like me. Sometimes you just want to WRITE. And a sturdy toothier paper just feels right. Hope he likes it!
I use Yoro pens for my left handed students it really helps those young lefties who stuggle to improve their handwriting . My students are 8 to 11 . There is also a fountain pen.

I hope you feel better soon. I always appreciate your uploads, and I was not aware of Pilots pigment inks. As a sketcher, I love my pigment inks. Going on my wish list for sure, I will have to start haunting JetPens.
Thank you-I’m much better. I just inked up a pen with it and tested the pigment ink and it’s definitely waterproof! I mean like rock solid. Nice flow too. A lot of pigment inks can be a bit dry.

Thanks for the review. They have a couple of nice A4 refillable leather journal covers (not super common), so I ordered one and a couple of extra refills. Adding that to what I already have, I have probably 8 years' worth of journals to fill. I might live that long. Oh, and the shipping is very reasonable, mine was $8 for express air courier from UK to US. That's less than I am usually charged for small packages by post.

Indeed japanese leather stuffs is so pricy, it's kind of stunning, but I assume maybe the industry is smaller... Hobonichi does source their leathers from all over the world for their covers if memory serves me right, so that must bump up the price significantly... Plus hobonichi is more folio-like in function with all covers and such. If it's just a cover, like taut series or the one you showed from other ocmpany, definitely EU is way to go then! The euro pen is so wild... Incredible... Thank you for another wonderful video!

I’d never heard of Pen Heaven before, other than my own little nirvana adventures, so I’ll check them out. Pinks and purples attract me like a moth to a lantern so naturally that pebbled purple color is reason enough for me to go have a look. Great review (again)!

I've found out that bristol 180g/sm illustration paper makes an incredible and smooth writting experience so I'm making my own notebooks now days wich brings the money I waist only to the price of the bloc of paper and the time spent bookbinding! Great stuff if you like to do a little bit of DIY.

I once tried it with a Noodlers ink with a coated paper (not Tomoe River) and some parts of it never dried! Later, I read that Noodlers are notorious for having inks that take longer to dry even with just normal writing. Take care, Thomas
I'm a lefty underwriter. I've found that ballpoints just don't work for me, so I've switched as much as possible to fountain pens because they write at the shallower angle. I'm still working on designing an adapter though that will allow me to write with a standard bic ballpoint.
That’s so interesting that you find fountain pens to be better, because I often hear about the problems of smearing etc. Thank you for your feedback as I get asked about wether or not an FP is good for a lefty.
@@InkyRocks Yeah, Underwriters don't have that problem as much (not that I new that term while I was learning to write). Sidewriters will smear just about anything though.
The "lefty" pen reminds me of a calligraphy oblique I once bought. Beautiful inks and journals. As an aside, I've had an Instagram account for a few years so I could follow some knitters, but it confuses the heck outta me. No clue how to navigate that place! I left a comment (I think so, anyway).
It’s a pigment ink. If you are talking about regular Pilot Blue Black, that has some sort of cellulose reactive agent to make it partially waterproof. I like both. I’ll test it out, but I’m going to bet the Tsuwairo is more waterproof!

I thought when one has under 3000 followers you get poorly automated translation/subtitles when press on right corner of video the [CC]. If you have above the mentioned 3000 followers, you simply apply for the service of subtitles by paying for it. RUclipsr Miranda Sings found this out also at later stadium 😅😂🤣. I have just got my first 💯 subscribers. I have a long way to go.
I’m not aware of that. I just get automated subtitles but they don’t understand a lot of the products and make weird words. So I have to go over and manually correct it. The translations come thru a free app. Good luck on your channel! Now is the hard part.
