I definitely believe the adult swim continuation for invader zim could have been a really good continuation, it work for samurai jack I see why not plus we could see humans dying off each episode and give the creator more creative freedom
Only issue is the budget. Adult Swim is NOTORIOUS for having very small budgets and Invader Zim was expensive episodes could cost up to over a Million dollars which is twice the standard of Nick's 350,000-500,000 per episode. (Avatar was successful so that was exempt from similar trearment.).

Considering that katara unintentionally became a blood bender when she was tricked by that witch, and their meeting and interactions in the crystal cavern they got trapped in together, I can 100% see traces of the zuko and katara shipping that could have been planned. I usually don't recommend episodes unless asked but I think you should do a follow up with disney shows. When I heard what American Dragon was going to be like it made my jaw drop.
I am so happy with the way they made ATLA, its probably my favorite show from when I was younger and I still re-watch it all the time! I know its not technically an anime but I know some of the animation is based on it slightly... anyway this is the show that is guilty for making me a total anime nerd haha. (Also I'm so glad they didn't go with the future setting with robots... yeesh...)

Since you didn't mention it, here's a bonus: Ren and Stimpy. Ren and Stimpy went through MANY changes. Originally, it was a completely different show being pitched: "Your Gang." Intended to be a parody of the live action "Our Gang" shorts (later re-titled The Little Rascals), the show was going to feature a human family of characters and people they knew, including twin neighborhood bullies "Slab and Ernie", as well as "Jimmy The Retarded Boy" (renamed Jimmy The Idiot Boy and Jimmy The Hapless Boy at various points), as well as other characters shown in some early drawings but not developed much, and the only character to actually have a substantial role in the finished Ren and Stimpy Show, "George Liquor" (whose last name was not allowed to be aired and was cut in several finished episodes). Ren and Stimpy were originally only VERY minor characters as the family pets, but Vanessa Coffey, the shows producer, singled out Ren and Stimpy as the best characters worth focusing on. Originally, Ren would have been even more psychotic, as well as a serial Baby Kidnapper and would have had a trademark blue sweater in most scenes that we only ever see at the end of the pilot Big House Blues. It also has been hinted that "Your Gang" would have been more of a "variety show" featuring characters and sketches that the group of creators at "Spumco" liked and felt like doing something with, pre-dating the "variety show" format found later in Animaniacs by several years, and entirely possible that John Krisfalusi's other show ideas like "He-Hog: The Atomic Pig" and "The Ripping Friends" may have ended up being segments as wel, if Your Gang had gone ahead as originally intended. The only other major change that has been noticed from development to show is that Ren originally had a tail, and it did feature in a few very early episodes, before the animators felt that it made his design too complicated to include it and constantly have to use it to help telegraph his emotions and poses all the time, so his tail was eventually discarded by the animators and just not drawn anymore.
I actually had a rare experience with the fairly odd parents. I was recording some old episodes so I could see some old Cosmo voice, because his voice used to be deeper, and slower. I decided to record Season 1, episode 8. It was set to be recorded on my DVR on DirecTv. I woke up the next day, to see the episode had been recorded. I was confused to see the same intro, but then a weird picture of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Vicky. Timmy's parents' faces weren't shown, (of course), and Timmy looked REALLY off. He had no buck teeth, and his head was shaped differently. He was left home with Vicky, and he was sent to bed. His godparents came out a pool ball with the number 9, which I guess is a lucky number, and did their thing. Timmy made his first wish, which I can't recall, but it went against da rules, and the book dropped on top of him. Timmy asked what it was, and Cosmo said "It's Da Rules!". The book was yellow, and almost looked smaller. Anyway, I was so excited, that I was thinking about selling my dvr for money. But, someone deleted it. I wont say who it was. But yeah, if this has happened to anyone else, lmk.

Coco and the book of life where being working on at the same time and neither of the companys knew about each others projects. It just so happed that one got released before the other. I think the reason both where so similar was cause they where both talking about mexiacn culture and that involves music, day of the dead etc.

Considering that katara unintentionally became a blood bender when she was tricked by that witch, and their meeting and interactions in the crystal cavern they got trapped in together, I can 100% see traces of the zuko and katara shipping that could have been planned. One could assume that they would bond over the evils that were forced upon them and gone from there.

When you were talking about the changes made to Rugrats, you mentioned how there were many potential spin-offs of the show. Were there actually other shows planned to be based off the series besides All Grown Up and Rugrats Pre-School Daze? Or was it never actually stated that there were any in production?
There was at least one more planned spin off, "The Carmichaels," which would've focused on Susie and her family. From what I can tell, though, it never made it past a pitch

I am so happy with the way they made ATLA, its probably my favorite show from when I was younger and I still re-watch it all the time! I know its not technically an anime but I know some of the animation is based on it slightly... anyway this is the show that is guilty for making me a total anime nerd haha. (Also I'm so glad they didn't go with the future setting with robots... yeesh...)

Since you didn't mention it, here's a bonus: Ren and Stimpy.
Ren and Stimpy went through MANY changes.
Originally, it was a completely different show being pitched: "Your Gang." Intended to be a parody of the live action "Our Gang" shorts (later re-titled The Little Rascals), the show was going to feature a human family of characters and people they knew, including twin neighborhood bullies "Slab and Ernie", as well as "Jimmy The Retarded Boy" (renamed Jimmy The Idiot Boy and Jimmy The Hapless Boy at various points), as well as other characters shown in some early drawings but not developed much, and the only character to actually have a substantial role in the finished Ren and Stimpy Show, "George Liquor" (whose last name was not allowed to be aired and was cut in several finished episodes). Ren and Stimpy were originally only VERY minor characters as the family pets, but Vanessa Coffey, the shows producer, singled out Ren and Stimpy as the best characters worth focusing on.
Originally, Ren would have been even more psychotic, as well as a serial Baby Kidnapper and would have had a trademark blue sweater in most scenes that we only ever see at the end of the pilot Big House Blues. It also has been hinted that "Your Gang" would have been more of a "variety show" featuring characters and sketches that the group of creators at "Spumco" liked and felt like doing something with, pre-dating the "variety show" format found later in Animaniacs by several years, and entirely possible that John Krisfalusi's other show ideas like "He-Hog: The Atomic Pig" and "The Ripping Friends" may have ended up being segments as wel, if Your Gang had gone ahead as originally intended.
The only other major change that has been noticed from development to show is that Ren originally had a tail, and it did feature in a few very early episodes, before the animators felt that it made his design too complicated to include it and constantly have to use it to help telegraph his emotions and poses all the time, so his tail was eventually discarded by the animators and just not drawn anymore.
Take your time on these videos man, it's worth waiting for your new videos because of the top quality and effort you put into these videos.

I actually had a rare experience with the fairly odd parents. I was recording some old episodes so I could see some old Cosmo voice, because his voice used to be deeper, and slower. I decided to record Season 1, episode 8. It was set to be recorded on my DVR on DirecTv. I woke up the next day, to see the episode had been recorded. I was confused to see the same intro, but then a weird picture of Timmy, Cosmo, Wanda, and Vicky. Timmy's parents' faces weren't shown, (of course), and Timmy looked REALLY off. He had no buck teeth, and his head was shaped differently. He was left home with Vicky, and he was sent to bed. His godparents came out a pool ball with the number 9, which I guess is a lucky number, and did their thing. Timmy made his first wish, which I can't recall, but it went against da rules, and the book dropped on top of him. Timmy asked what it was, and Cosmo said "It's Da Rules!". The book was yellow, and almost looked smaller. Anyway, I was so excited, that I was thinking about selling my dvr for money. But, someone deleted it. I wont say who it was. But yeah, if this has happened to anyone else, lmk.
