My son-in-law flies this plane for medivac says its amazing. It can land on any strip and is fast.
What's so amazing is that the B200 offers a speed advantage of about 10% and an altitude advantage of about 15%. Of course, those advantages come at a healthy premium in terms of operating costs, and there are significant trade-offs in terms of passengers, payload, and range.
The TBM offers a speed advantage, but add a couple of passengers and baggage, and you loose range capacity. The TBM offers no lavatory, either.
Now, just as soon as I win the lottery,... ;o)

@@beachbum1523 are you serious? He sold the Pilatus one year after this video? And bought a Citation? No way. So he was talking bullshit in the video about his love to this PC12? He didn’t mean it, if so. Well that’s life I guess. In todays perspective the PC12 NGX is unmatched unique awesome, nothing can compare with it in this class of airplane.
@@mr.ginnationfunlifestyle3891 I wouldn't go so far as to say those things. Take a look. Wes wasn't a young man when this vid was made. He was up front about wanting to fly a jet, and his days as a pilot were growing shorter. I don't fault him for wanting to put one last aviation checkmark on his aircraft owner bucket list. 😉😉

Well it is just hard to find anything to compare. There are no other planes of comparable engine and size. In fact "size" is the only thing that can be compared. Power is nearly twice as much as a TBM 700 but speed is not. So it should be compared to *two* TBM700 which is nonsense of course :)
King Air is the only thing that is similar in size and at least turboprop driven.

He wasn't dissing the Hawker; he was just pointing out that a friend of his was paying to operate a Hawker when his LONGEST leg was only 600MN. Jets are fine for covering long distances in short periods of time; but for shorter legs, they become an horrendously expensive way to get around.
