I get this from it: it's the opposite of having some grand, madness-inducing revelation, seeing the infinity of the universe and how insignificant you are in it. None of that--it's more like wonder and less like despair. You've grasped the big picture, seen the universe for what it is, and know yourself--your entire world--to be an infinitesimal speck that doesn't matter at all, but despite all that you can appreciate the beauty of it. (Enjoy it, because the next boss fight is nasty.)
Nah, bro, I would submit to you the truth is the precise opposite. Revel in the splendor of the endless universe because, in essence, you *are* that world. Everything in all existence can be reduced down to its singular element, a universal mind from which all structure and form is derived; that which the more spiritually inclined might rightly refer to as "God" - and you yourself are a fractal of that infinite being. You cannot be separate from it, you can only think that you are. So of course you matter. You are, in a very real way, the universe itself.
The music really captures the essence of emotion during this part of the game... The most horrific things have happened, you almost wonder if it's just a dream....and then as you wander around Abel's Ark, you see it....The Durandall, in pieces, scattered and destroyed through out this mammoth Gnosis. The feeling of falling overwhelms you. But theres no time to rest, Yuriev must be stopped and another sacrifice must be made, another Hero lost; Gaignun forever gone.
I could just listen to this for hours. I feel more centred and peaceful listening to this than almost anything else I can recall ever hearing (in recent memory, or perhaps ever). High praise for VGM, I know, but still... it's so easy to be just carried off by the sound.
This song is a very obvious callback to One Who Bares Fangs at God, which is the „Final Boss“ Theme of Xenogears. Maybe you heard that one before somewhere
I loved this song when I entered this place, it was so perfect. Then I realized I had to level grind there for hours because the final dungeon was going to be tough and I friggin' hated everything in there :X
@KeysCrystal To me I just felt like it was more of a mysterious feeling. I loved the way the music in this game brought out the mystery of the story. I don't think I've EVER found a game that did that as well as this game. The whole Xenosaga series is by far one of the BEST series that continues to the next game (not like FF where every game is stand alone).
@KeysCrystal Well, you do have to remember that these guys are REALLY closely associated with Square, lol. And I think that the battle system in it looks frickin awesome! =D
@lastblade3 That's not a bad thing. This series was meant to be a "playable movie" similar to that of Metal Gear Solid. I thought that the story couldn't have been better and they did a great job mixing it with gameplay. That's just me though....
@KeysCrystal I dunno, I kinda like it as a trilogy (like it was meant to be). Maybe they could continue with the story, but the only thing they really left open was the search for Lost Jerusalem. I'm pretty sure, with their creative minds, they could come up with SOMETHING. For now, I guess we'll just have to wait for Xenoblade to come to the US =D And I think I know what you mean...sorta, lol.
Yeaaaah...Yall say it was apeaceful. but to me It felt like a scary nostalgic environment. After what happened to the Durandal and all...I dislike the song, but I do like how it gives that feeling to Abel's Ark....because of this song...I felt I needed to upgrade my E.Ss some more...I died so much...I thought I was ready XD Got everything all tidy up .. this was a battle Ark....darn elemental Gnosis..
@Loz8900 Oh I didnt know that...gee no wonder. I miss chas *sniff* Well even though...I will still buy atleast I can do is check those beautiful robots out

A mix of ‘The One who Bares Fangs at God’ and knowing the motive of Yuriev makes this hit so much harder
It really is fitting that the guy that wants to ascend to Godhood gets a Remix of One Who Bares Fangs at God
I love that this is a remix of The One Who Bares Fangs At God~
Lieutenant Elhaym Van Houten It's genius cus *****SPOILERS******
Cus when you are in Abel's Ark you are actually inside God/U-DO in a sense!
What a beautiful song. It's CRIMINAL it wasn't included in the official sound track!
it may be 12 years later but this song still smacks
This is a beautiful song. I was disappointed when it wasn't on the official soundtrack. Thanks for the upload!

Fitting that the Theme that plays when fighting Urobolus/Ouroboros also is the Track that reappears.
This series is an eternal cycle!
i thought ep1's final boss theme was the only time they will remake " one who bares fangs at god", didnt expect to see it get remade another time
Beautiful haunting melody. I absolutely loved this stage and stayed grinding for eternity lol
I feel at peace when I listen this song.
I imagine Yuki Kajiura probably incorporated a bit of Xenogears' themes into her own... Afterall there are other references to Xenogears in XS3.

The synth voices make me think of one who bares fangs at God from xenogears.
It's a remix of it.
I've only ever played Xenoblade 1 and 2 i have no idea why but this song sounds soo familiar to me
This song is a very obvious callback to One Who Bares Fangs at God, which is the „Final Boss“ Theme of Xenogears. Maybe you heard that one before somewhere
enel and sometimes luxin uses it in his videos
many memories!!

wow this soundtrack is such a crime >...<
This music has such a power over my soul, it feels like I'm going to face the power of God itself.
it's beautiful
Why does this reminds me of Xenogears's music with Jaws of Ice.

Thats it...im going to play the series over again...for the 3rd time!!

am I the only one who this reminds of the legend of the hidden temple? Thumbs up just for remembering what the hell I'm talking about
silver snakes
It is just a video game but....idk it brings back memories and the plot was like aondoasnefosnfrong good :D
It's a remix of One Who Bears Fangs at God, a good one too.
18,000 views and not a single dislike. Even dislike trolls are like "whoa" when they hear this:)
Lucky man
@Mazryonh The best musics of the game left out of official OST! lol
@hitman35933
I also hear a hint of The One Who is Torn Apart
