I love the music in this game! But was anyone else kind of disapointed that they always used the same music for pretty much every battle until the last one?
Actually not really. I thought I would be but it actually grew on me back then, OMG, constantly grinding for hours and hearing that battle theme music 95% of the time. lol. I think it has something to do with the unique instruments used.
Now this theme here definitely rounds out my favorite top 3 favorite themes in the soundtrack. This has a pretty awesome violin intro before becoming more upbeat and we hear vocals in the background. Love it!
Love how it both references „One Who Bares Fangs at God“ from Xenogears but also uses parts of the opening Theme from Episode 1, kind of showing in a subtle way that maybe there is a connection between the Gnosis and the Zohar
I had to wait a few minutes when i got to the final boss just to soak in that there's a different battle theme. Right before i wasted it with my overpowered party.
I remember my first run through this game i got stuck on that big robot before albedo so i trained my guys to level 50 off the reapers and stomped the rest of the game
Playing through this entire game with only one battle music, then hitting this one... it just makes it sound all the more magnificent.
I'm thankful they didn't use the regular battle theme for the final boss fight as well haha. This was great!
This is very reminiscent of "The One Who Bares Fangs At God"
Well since Xenosaga was a "reimagining of Xenogears" it's not suprising.
@@scottkelly6971 it's not a reimagining, it's a distant sequel. Shion and Jin are distant descendants of Citan.

Actually its funny you say that because I actually liked that they did that. i just didnt find the battle theme in X2 and X3 as catchy
@@lanisolfire5692 Um yeah, its not as catchy in X2 and X3 and its because the original composer wasn't part of the project. Too bad.
@@dannysimion Oh really? i didnt know that, thanks for that bit of trivia!^^
It made the final battle moment all the more significant
God, this music was absolutely stunning. I loved these games so much, but this was my favorite theme out of all of them.
"Disabling Auto-Safety. Eliminate all Targets."

I was so overleveled that the final boss couldn't attack me lol

Wow, all these DECADES of time have gone by and I'm only just hearing the resemblance of this to the final form of Lavos's theme, amazing!
That one attack messes me up! -_-
Agreed. Sophie Peithos is too slow to provide much of a challenge--all you have to do is avoid letting that one attack TPK you.
Sounds so close to Pokémon sun and moon the Team aether leader boss (the beginning)
Question:
Am I the only one who here's Lusamine's theme in here?
You're not the only one, my friend.
The first time I heard lusamines theme I instantly thought of this.
Wait a second, is that the conduit from XC 2
Bruh that’s the Zohar the Conduit is just Nintendo’s version of the Zohar.
@@Jed_the_Malamute They're basically the same lol
No way you said that 😭😭😭
I swear did the Pokémon sun devs play Xenosaga ???
Speaking of which, not only does this Lusamine's theme sound like this, but Pokemon's Ultra space reminds me of the Gnosis a lot.

Two gnosis disliked this
I figured one of them is Albedo.
