A nice statue, no question yet still a lame monument to a great fought battle by Wellington over the French dictator, Napoléon. There really IS no great monument in London to this battle, except the Waterloo place square, which still hardly cuts it and, the named area, over the river, which, sadly, is a complete slum.
Saw it as i walked on a hot day and couldnt deny capturing it on a camera. Masterpiece indeed
Loved visiting this statue on a trip to Hyde Park.
I remember it as being a bit bigger, though. Oh well. Memories.
