I think it's absolutely wonderful that such a world class city has so many huge parks and gardens for people to enjoy. It has the added benefit of helping to clean the air. Thanks Sinead!
As you walked through that spectacular park---known the world over---I thought of the one thing that I, as an American, would miss. And that would be hummingbirds! Otherwise, I would be in heaven strolling through Hyde Park. Lovely tour.
Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens were home territory to me 50 or so years ago when I lived in Notting Hill Gate. What I lacked was the knowledge you have of the area. Thank you, Sinead, for the happy memories and filling in my ignorance. That was a really beautiful walk. London has so much to offer!
Sinead, your the best tour guide I have ever listened to. A wealth of information, and this tour of Hyde Park was so so beautiful. This park is like across the pond...Central Park in NYC. Great tour. I went by this park when I was in London once, but I'm definitely going to go into it when I come back to London.

Great video. I have no idea why I am so addicted to watching them! It's just me sitting on a coach, drinking a beer and commenting, "oh that looks cool" and "that's pretty awesome." Somehow they hypnotize me though.

3:55 - I don't get it. In Central London (Zone1) only there's also Knightsbridge and Covent Garden (both Piccadilly), Queensway, Marble Arch, Chancery Lane and Lancaster Gate on Central Line and probably few more, but these are the only ones I can think of right now. Am I missing something?
I don't know if it's true in London or Ireland, but at @24:48 Sinead notes, "I don't think they're allowed to that." In the southern Appalachian moutains of the USA, THOSE comments are a sure sign that: -You are getting old(er).👵 Or, -You REALLY need a vacation.🧘♀️🚴♀️⛷🏊♀️ Or, -BOTH! 😂🤣 GREAT TOUR!
It would have been nice to have a full view of The Boy on the Boy on the Dolphn. Was this once at the Tower Bridge on a fountain in front of a hotel? Jane, Philadelphia
it is unusual to have a police station in a public park, prior to that they had a prostitute problem in the park, most parks use park keepers or gardeners to try to keep order in the garden but the royal parks use local police to keep order
