Npc dropdown in the forest. It may be slower but it could be farmed by any class. Also there’s a phalanx in painted world. Rush to them and cast firestorm. Again any class could do it because you don’t need stats for pyromancy.
forest farm was discovered later on in the games life but yes it is superior and the phalanx farm is a bit later in the game and usually at most players mid-end game
do you know about the soul item glitch it’s way easier and you can get millions or hundreds of millions of souls but only do this if you already completed the game because you can just steamroll the entire game and it will ruin the entire experience. but if you are new and on your first playthrough it’s better to do the one in the video. I personally prefer killing the silver knights at the bonfire behid the archers, they're easy to parry, theres' 4 of them and each one drops over 1k souls and they are super close to the bonfire
What do you dislike about the sprint in dark souls? Movement is supposed to be better if you're light rolling (I can't 100% remember at this point as I'm always light rolling)
using the same button to sprint and jump is annoying because you can accidentally jump and mess up your sprint or fall off a ledge. also i don't like holding down face buttons to sprint. toggle sprint is way better or at least using a stick.
@@s0lid_sno0ks In Remastered you can swap the jump button to L3 in the settings if that helps, took me a while to get used to it but it's definitely much safer for the sketchy jumps.

You also should have symbol of avarice and covetous silver serpent ring equipped for more souls
The easiest way to farm souls is to do a prompt swap glitch to pop 99 large souls.

You can do it even better with Power Within, because excessive damage grants additional souls.
I farmed all the giants near Ornstien & Smough boss room, usually get around 12 to 13k souls per run😊

@@s0lid_sno0ksagreed, I’m glad they changed the button to L3 in ds2 and ds3. Then in bloodborne they changed it back to circle for some reason.

You would make more souls an hour if you used a homeward bone I think. Depending on how long it takes your computer to load
@@funnykids66 true. it would cut the farm down to 8.5k/run but would probably make up for itself over time.
alternatively install a mod and remove it when yer done. takes like 10 mins for the whole process.
NY that point you might as well mod in all the souls you want for free
