Pro Tip, you can look at what needs to be broken in the fight using special assignments. About midway through Pt 2 I will pop in there and tell the team what we still need to break. It is really helpful. I also breakdown the breakables by sides you have 3 breakables on the outside and the chest, Left and right Tail, Mid, Arm, & Chest. I will shout out what is done and what we need to focus on. I don't usually worry about counting the chest breaks as they are quickly broken and usually both at the same time. Then the gold horn break is obvious as it will show on the map and then you need to pay attention to the chip and the tail. Area 4 my team and I will sleep her right away and do a double bomb (drop bombs by her left hand as she is falling asleep then blowing them as she falls down, she won't wake up if you do it right) then if we are on a 3 or 4 level I will paralyze her right away for more direct damage and then wait for her to fury, then sticky, freeze, poison, and mount. This has done well as a 2 man team in rando squad sessions.

I haven't seen anyone mention using dragon pods or any pods for that manner on KT. I make sure I always kick a helmcrab to pick up a set of some, and if you fire 3-4 them right at KTs chest you get a flinch out of her. It'll interrupt her roll, fire breath, and lava pool moves. I get that people want max DPS and pods aren't gonna give you that, but a flinch might be just the right thing to save a foolish teammates life if they get cornered. I'm on PC so I can't test it on ATKT, but I'll definitely try it out once we get her.
Heya, just wanted to say I wanted your entire video on Arch-tempered Kulve Taroth because I suck and I'm trying to get good advice from a vet. I didn't realize how much intense preparation it required until I watched this. You have been super helpful and I'm going to start a build so I can actually help to farm it effectively. Thank you!
Great guide and in depth with builds and good advice. Recommend anybody new and veteran hunters to watch if you want a successful hunt. I've farmed alot of the old Kulve but took a long break. I wanted to see what changed. I'm going to be abit rusty but this guide will help me. Thanks.
Thanks for the guide, i watched it till the end. Love your channel. I stopped playing at extreme behemoth with +-700 hours and came back recently. This helped a lot, not only i got to remember some stuff but i also learned a couple new.
I had the video playing as I was going through the siege, so I guess you can say I watched it all the way through XD. Either way, good content. Thanks for making it!
4:50 Bit of advice here: be the first person in the room. While everyone is busy buffing and collecting tracks, you have a once in a life time opportunity to have Kulve's full attention on you. With her aggro, lead her to the two boulders in the back and one after the other for maximum stun time. Try to keep her over the volcanic vent for extra dmg and focus on part breaking. The reason why I advocate this is because it'll be so much easier to convince your team mates to lead her away from the lava, then towards the lava. I can't even begin to talk about the dipshits who keep fighting her near the one boulder vent, when we have two fresh one's on the other side. We have an opportunity to get so much free dmg and they're to busy because 'muh dps!'.
This is the best guide you can find on the entire internet on how to deal with this creature. Very informative, self-explanatory and a good voice to keep you listening and understanding and eventually learning to put it in practice. Well done TheGameconomist.
Watched all the way to the end and I gotta say I feel more confident in trying out this fight for the first time( I was taking a break from the series so I missed the last time it was availible) I shared it with the group I'm in and hopefully it will help them as well
Good video. Unfortunately I already knew most of it due to trial and error, but I will definitely be referencing it to friends before spring festival. I saw on one of your more recent videos about dropping weak exploit on range, I had no idea. Also great info about stage 4 barrel bombs, more specifically the placement by the run up areas for her to smash, I will definitely be implementing that.
This Video Extremely helpful and I made sure to note everything before the end of Astera Festival, but I didn't like the beginning as much. It kinda sounded like a Review Video, and it took me a while to understand that "Failing" pursuit 1, 2 and 3 is normal. Oh! and I loved the Flowchart. :)

Watched the whole vid/all your long vids dude I watched it in case I didn't know something, but I already did. (appreciate you did it for others that didn't know all the info though, so thanks gameeco :D!)
Ooooo is this why? Ever since AT KT came out ive been wondering what triggers this, thought it was related to the parts broken, pursuit level or some other stuff, never figured it out :')
@@_syzygy_ i figured it out when my friends and i split into groups of three to balance the stronger players with the weaker ones and my team broke it both times and we got the extra two boxes both times

If you have sns user or is a sns user eat for the food skill rider, so when you go to the last area you can get 2 mounts. Since the sns aerial attack does a ton of mount damage
if you drop 3 boulders exactly on her horns you are able to break the gold plating, wich gives you 3/4 carvings. doing only this to damage her seems more efficient as she still retreats after a while, and you still able to collect tracks and other materials
For AT Kulve, you NEED Guard 5 to be able to stand in the lava. With Guard 3, it does a TON of knockback and stamina depletion(then death). So focusing on "breaking all of her parts at least once", is that to break parts over one run of the siege? Or over one "reward cycle", such that all of the objectives on the status page are fulfilled?
1. To trigger her fury is not break every part once, the correct answer is 15 gold plating part break, they can be the same part. 2. Heavy Artillery is a bad investment point value wise 3. The digging mechanic: She regenerates her broken parts after she dig, but her unbroken but damaged parts will not regenerate any HP. Tunneling in area 1 will also regenerates parts. You have to make her dig twice in area 2 and 3. Every time you break 5 of her gold plating parts she will dig (Starting area 2) 4. VERY IMPORTANT: He puts Weakness Exploit into his ranged weapons build. Please DON’T do this unless you are running slicing ammo, 90% of her parts are not weak to shot type damage
I agree that the wording of the guide couldve been more clear: 1. Focusing on a single part of her body would be considerably less efficient, and it leaves open a possibility that one of her parts go unbroken for an entire run, this would mean you might bring the health of that part down to 10% health, but because you did not run a checklist for each part, you ignored it to waste your time trying to break a fresh part. Nowadays I always run through each part of her body once, and this triggers the shed very quickly. 2. Heavy artillery can do just about 600 damage per shot with felyne bombadier. If I were Hunter Rank 16 with no money and no barrel bombs, then this is my best damage option in stage one. 3. This is true, I should have said this. When a guide starts to get very large, its easy to forget some tips. 4. Theres a large note in the flow chart that says you can go straight to an attack run at P3 if you are confident, Im pretty sure it was also mentioned in the guide somewhere I just cant remember when I said it. 5. Weakness exploit is bringing my affinity to 100% for slice ammo in stage 4. Most of the time with the styx and Kjarr thunder lbg, I do not return for stage 4, I just walk in and break the horns with the slice ammo. I hope that helps, thanks for bringing this to my attention it helps me think more about what I said.
A condition that has a question mark? I wonder what do You mean because I don't have any condition with question mark. There are 2 rainbow rewards for single run, 2 for breaking the horns when she is furious and 2 when You have reward level 17 which is gained by meeting all of the siege goals.
Unfortunately i have farmed both sets of her armor solo because my connection isn't strong enough to join sessions, I can join sos missions but sometimes it fails to join, and with ancient leshen I suffer badly trying to solo with many close battles but just not enough to finally kill him. Watching this video gave me good tips but I'll still have to solo lol.
Tips: have a bow/bowgun player and make her sleep right at the beginning of stage 4. Throw all your bombs at the tail and it will break. The rest of time you can focus on the head without burden.
Not looking forward to trying this as a new player and bringing my 2 casual friends. Hopefully I can find a helpful group on the discord Watched the full video. Will be coming back to it when attempting the run. Thanks!
Want to add one little exploit: if you do a fair bit of mounting damage, you can mount her outside of hole 4 as she's about to go into stage 2 of the fight, at which point the other 3 players can just use the cannon to absolutely demolish her. Did this myself a couple times, she ended up molting at part 2 and practically skipping part 3 completely. we finished that siege in around 12 mins (i wasn't going for the mount finish attack, i was just hanging on while they blasted her with cannon balls)
Did you ever mention the Fury State? I don't recall you mentioning that in the Stage 4 section. You have to break her gold parts a certain number of times, according to the in game tip.
For the love of all that is holy, guys, PLEASE use the temporal mantle in stage 2. The body slam is so hard to dodge. Just play it safe and use the mantle.
Felyne Moxie, Felyne Insurance, Foresight Slash, proper spacing Temporal Mantle is a mistake as you can't improve and learn patterns if you just go brute force
I had to admit that I was a complete noob in this subject before watching your video. Now I feel more confident on how to beat it. One question. Do emperor nuggets come as trash rewards from the siege? Do I need to get ATKT to furymode in at least one attempt to get those rewards?
@@TheGameconomist I've read comments in the wiki say you can just do footprints runs and let other groups do the fights and you will still manage to get emperor nuggets as trash rewards. I dont know if it is a requisite for this that at least one group break his horns in rage mode.
I watched the entire vid👍, been attempting to farm on console this whole week, for all armour sets, only 3 gems from 4 days (& nights) worth of grinding 😢
Honestly my friends and i just keep fighting even in pursuit 1. 90% of the timr we can break the gold coating. We dont have enough ppl to do the picking up method
I think you forgot to do some editing in the moveset portion, sounds like you left in multiple audio takes. Anyway, nice guide, although I do think it's a good idea to attack her in stage 1 so she drops gold chips in addition to footprints for more pursuit points, then everyone can run around collecting after she pushes to stage 2.
me and a friend just duo kulve once we reach pursuit lvl 4-6. while farming tracks just yeet some falling boulders onto the horn plating for some ez loot as well
NOTE: Do not use Weakness exploit for shot damage (in my case, I use it for Slice ammo in Stage 4)

Pretty sure you guys know by now, but the last ??? task is to break the horns while furied.
Watched the whole video, was very helpful
After coming back from a 4-5 month hiatus
I had to watch this guide in case Kulve comes back lol
Thank you again for these tips lol
Did you ever mention the Fury State? I don't recall you mentioning that in the Stage 4 section. You have to break her gold parts a certain number of times, according to the in game tip.
And i made her to shed in the last stage where there is a big pllar in the center if im not mistaken the stages
For the love of all that is holy, guys, PLEASE use the temporal mantle in stage 2. The body slam is so hard to dodge. Just play it safe and use the mantle.
Felyne Moxie, Felyne Insurance, Foresight Slash, proper spacing
Temporal Mantle is a mistake as you can't improve and learn patterns if you just go brute force
I had to admit that I was a complete noob in this subject before watching your video. Now I feel more confident on how to beat it.
One question. Do emperor nuggets come as trash rewards from the siege? Do I need to get ATKT to furymode in at least one attempt to get those rewards?
I dont think y ou can get them for failing the quest
@@TheGameconomist I've read comments in the wiki say you can just do footprints runs and let other groups do the fights and you will still manage to get emperor nuggets as trash rewards. I dont know if it is a requisite for this that at least one group break his horns in rage mode.
I watched the entire vid👍, been attempting to farm on console this whole week, for all armour sets, only 3 gems from 4 days (& nights) worth of grinding 😢
i loved this video, thank you for your hard work
Watched all of it 👌 biggest take from the video: drop part breaker in stage 4....
32:20-32:27 Gajalaka squad in the raid!
full watch will be educating my friends they wont watch a 45 minute video
My friends will reply: "Don't attacking in stage 1 is boring!" *starts attacking* "why u take this game so serious?"
@@ThexRosario lol mine will say " it sounds like you want me to a be a bitch? I cant do that im sorry" then gets carted soon as we get to stage 2
YOU ARE A GOD! THANK YOU SO MUCH!
brilliant video thank you so much!!
in case you are wondering I always watch your videos until the end
Thanks man!
I wanna do the siege but im literally the only person who wants to do it i havent seen a single other person doing it
Honestly my friends and i just keep fighting even in pursuit 1. 90% of the timr we can break the gold coating.
