Hi Mike. This is a great video video. It would be awesome if you could do a video showing us more detail about your sawmill and how you built it and any other insight for folks wanting to build their own. Like what to do and not to do. Love that you make your own equipment! Love your channel. Blessings. :)
Hi jrace2718, sorry I missed your comments earlier, the saw head is a Woodmizer beefed up copy, but the overhead track/beam adds great versatility, maybe we could highlight it this spring. Thanks so much, 😎😊☕☕☕😎
Seems like you would lose the set on the teeth if you sharpen that way too many times. And i agree be wary of yard logs lest you find where someone pounded in a handful of nails. Ceramic insulators for fencing are the worst
@@Tenonizer I am rebuilding my 36 year old band mill, there is a video on my channel of it from 10 years ago. I am finally converting it to a movable saw head. When I drew the plans and built this, the Ross band mill was the only thing in the north east at that time.

There’s a special place in hell for people who drive nails or staple barb wire into live trees.
Steel and wire cage on a lava island maybe...
TENONIZER, log furniture, timber frame, & Life, agreed
What’s he going to use the Ashe for?
Said he just wants it around for "stuff".

You are correct, it can become a problem eventually if you don't add set to the teeth, especially in softwood.
Very nice Trump hat!! Identical to mine.
It is obvious you have good taste😎😊

The small blade band mills changed the world; sounds like you had a part in the changing😎👍
