Tommy is literally one of the coolest human beings. He responds to email and is one of the friendliest people to meet in person. When I met him last, at the Trocadero in Philly (now closed), I was walking out of the can and he was standing right there in front of the merch counter talking to people. I asked for a pic with him and he instantly granted it and put his arm on my shoulder. Just salt of the earth good person.
Always make sure to do stuff like that and if I miss it when filming, I edit it out of the video. Same goes for when bands mention where their safe is or where they keep their money. Licenses plates are always blurred on vehicles we know the band isn't renting. We never want to be a reason why bands get robbed or have anything negative happen to them on the road.

I exchanged a couple of emails with him back in the day - he was really self-effacing, intelligent and inquisitive about certain perceptions of the band.

Not sure if he was just treating us very well or not, but he he was so incredibly kind to us during the set of videos we filmed with him.
