This song is so bad ass - start to finish. Prong is vastly underrated. Phenomenal group.
One of the MOST UNDERRATED bands EVER
Amen to that.
Agreed
Absofuckinloutley!!!
Yes its a damn shame! Theyre one of my fucking favorites!
Good! That's how it should be. Bands like Prong don't need to be commercial. Bands like Prong is for true Metal fans! (I think)
Pioneers & trailblazers.... and NOBODY grooves like Prong!
Such a good song!!! Listening April 2024
One of the most kick ass metal bands that ever existed. Intelligent lyrics great riffs what more could you want?
One of the few metal bands that always could find the sweet spot between harmony, melody, groove and heaviness. Well, this is all Victor so, I salute you brother.... you are one of the metal greats.
PRONG = NEVER SOLD OUT.
jamie hesser oh, I thought you meant tickets lol
exactly the reason why they remain badass! Cunts sellout, Prong aint no cunt!
Never changed their style. Every album brought new developments to their style but it all sounds like Prong
@@Ruffnek310 I know what you mean, however it could have been said more adequently, but you came across well enough for me, and I an sure others know what you meant. Good job my man. Thanks for the support for Prong!!! Dusty the 2nd.
@@Ruffnek310 What in hell am I missing here??? I am not stupid, however I am dumb as hell in this comment situation, can you help me to understand what Jamie Hesser is writing about? I am sorry but a sell out group, at least for tickets to go to a concert is good, if you mean they never sold out to the main stream, then now I get it. Thats why they were underground!. Is that what he is talking about? If so, he did not come across that way, and Jamie Hesser, if that is what you are talking about, well then a million apologizes to you. Dusty the 2nd.
I saw Prong open up for Pantera at Nassau Coliseum in 1994. Great show!!!!
Saw them both on tour together. In Hadley, MA at a small club called Katina's. Both bands were on FIRE! Great Show!
this might be my favorite Prong song of all time. as everyone has already said - so underrated.
Love you Prong, alot, and i am a granny.
Linda Kloss Granny? Not...you are a women...ich habe sie gestern in Hamburg gesehen...er hat es so geil drauf...verdammt Publikumsnah...
DeadMan Walking Ich wusste nicht, dass sie immer noch die Durchführung. so gut
Linda Kloss I don't know what DeadMan might be saying because I don't speak German, probably the same as I'm about to, but I don't think age has much to do with musical taste. There's just music that touches each person, no matter the age of the listener and no matter the genre or style of the music. My grandma (82 at the time) fell in love with Metallica's first three albums, 311, and The Offspring when I was in high school. I used to go to Dixieland Jazz concerts with her and my grandpa all the time when I was a kid all over California, and I thought that was all she listened to, but she really grooved on fast thrash and punk/ska type of stuff as well. She said it had a lot of energy and it felt really bouncy and fun. So, whether yourself as a granny who rocks out or not, I just see a person who likes Prong, which is always awesome. Rock on Linda \m/
Brokenskull666 omg I saw 311 for my 69th birthday, finally after I heard their grass roots album i fell so in love with them. rock on sir.
Brokenskull666 i saw Prong in Hamburg but Tommy is so powerfull and near at the Fans. Absolut great.
this is a truly original band.
Seen them live and it was one of the best gigs I've ever been too. I'm 57 by the way and I've seen a LOT of bands live. In fact I don't think I've ever seen a band who was having so much fun on stage.
They had (have?) such unpredictable chord choices and progressions. Truly unique. No other band like them.
New album 'Zero Days' is worth checking out as is the previous one 'X - No absolutes'.
-- says everyone about every metal band
TheMonkeyMedicine .......not as unpredictable as VoiVod. Damn good tho
Helmet my boi
Unpredictable? Ok, I think you didn't heard many Metal bands. It is a good band, though.
Went to a concert in Denmark where they billed alongside Exodus and Obituary. Had heard about them, but had no clue as to the style of their music.
Exodus and Obituary were great, but Prong proved a most profound revelation for me. One thing was their own special style, even more so their ability to project beyond the stage. What a frontman Tommy Victor is, and so humble😀👍🏻
Saw them the same tour in Budapest. Did Art Cruz the trick with drumsticks with roadie?
Same to me. I rediscover these guys after their gig in Bucharest. And they was also with one crazy Australian band called King Parrot :)
You were seeing NY crossover-industrial royalty. Most bands that exist today exist cos of Prong. Just like Shitallica exists cos of vemom and mercyful fate.
As a longtime Prong fan it's just fantastic to see Tommy Victor & co put out another superb album after all these years, 'Carved Into Stone' is their best since 'Rude Awakening' and this cut is an instant classic. Cheers.
These 80's and 90's Bands had their Riffing nailed down like Bosses.
i like how he can play the guitar and point his fingers at you at the same time
Yeah, it's great during shows.
+subversive775 Its been out for, how old are your grandparents-----Slash makes that boy a " boy "^^^^
This one is definitely among the finest pure metal cuts of all time.
Man, I'm so happy to see Prong still around and kicking. Prong and Faith No More are still easily two of the most underrated bands to ever play music. Keep it up fellas, hope to catch your show next time you're in town.
Tho patton is disgusting and boring
Prong - WINS! Flawless victory, fatality.
Always loved this band. Listened to them all through college. Their music still holds up so well. :thumbs up:
I havent heard Prong in years. This was awesome!
That guitar riff is so badass. Same with the drums.
ULBGaming But the music is going forward...and have power...
+ULBGaming Your right GAME OVER WHICH never got sarted, been snorting gas & assholes
+James Williams love you old prong and helmet ,quicksand
Yeah the flow is great. rolls forward over 9000
Every song I've heard by them has a killer guitar line the only thing that I dont really like about the band is the singers style but for this song it sounds great
Highly under-rated band. But then again, that's probably not a bad thing.
+Eric West I don't know why, but I really like this song.
yep, good bands will always be underrated, mainstream is to be dumb, with some exceptions of course
Agreed. Sometimes you want bands like this to sail under the radar... otherwise, the music industry may just destroy them. Been of fan of theirs since Prove You Wrong... love the 'groove' style Tommy Victor went in... it suits them perfectly.
this guy still rocks, always original.
+Mike Woz Put a w in front and it would still be shit
James Williams what the fuck did you mean? incomprehensible sentence
Having Art Cruz on drums has really brought Prong full circle again, having seen them with Overkill in Tampa was truly an experience. Tommy sounds great and can still pick the guitar! The new stuff is amazing, "The Whispers" epic! Keep killing it guys and come back to Tampa!
I seen them in Chicago with ozzy Osborne they blew filter away prong rocks forsure
I agree Daniel 👍 💯. I do miss Ted Parsons though
@@elijahkilmon2341 excited to see them again here in Orlando with the metal gods "Overkill" in March.
Good music forever passed over....Prong always rules!
This song seriously rips.
The guitar work here is impressive
One of the finest bands ever. Very very underrated. Heard them in 1994 (cleansing, might have the year wrong) and been a fan ever since
I love Prong. So many kick ass songs through the years.
I've always loved prong just fucking amazing underrated band
Always looking for new bands . This was the best I've heard in years. Fuckn awesome
brycer72 not really new, they been around since the 90's
a new band :) lol
Their album Beg To Differ is probably my favorite from them
Good to see these guys are still around, and to see and hear that Tommy's vocals and lead playing have seriously improved over time! Good show!
I'll never forget seeing these guys live ..what a treat
Excellent! Excellent Excellent!!!!!!!!!!
Prong has some of the tastiest, chunky riffs...best served cold...
what a band!!!!!! yeah!
Prong has always been a great band. It knows every man!
Hammer Song ❤❤
These guys put out more bad ass sounding metal than most 5 piece bands could ever dream of. LONG LIVE PRONG
hail to the kings:)
Hellyeah, Tommy is back the way he's supposed to be.
Tommy Victor and Prong forever!
Ty vole poslouchám je už dost let a právě po čase super upgrade
Looking out of windows, looking under cars
Like to keep you thinking, staying on guard
Nothing ever happens, you wonder why
The constant paranoia is of someone's design
Doorbell is ringing, no one's outside
I like my revenge... best served cold
For a lack of respect and a lack of a soul
Best served cold
Suddenly a shadow under your door
A click of a magazine, your door's not secured
Find an old photograph, was that ever there?
Are those really footsteps walking up your stairs?
I like my revenge... best served cold
For a lack of respect and a lack of a soul
I like my revenge... best served cold
With total contempt of an arctic storm
Best served cold
I like my revenge... best served cold
Me and you
There's a history unattended to
It's a story with no ending to
With a mystery of who's after you
Me and you
You wonder why it never happens to you
With no one really getting back to you
This history of me and you
I like my revenge... best served cold
For a lack of respect and a lack of a soul
I like my revenge... best served cold
With total contempt of an arctic storm
I like my revenge... best served cold
I like my revenge... best served cold
I like my revenge... best served cold
Thanks
sehr gute nummer 1a
Prong has been badass all the way!!🤘🤘
I remember going to see Prong play in a rock bar in Edinburgh (RIP The Venue) that held only about 4-500 people. They performed as a duo that night with a drum machine and it was an epic night! LOUD AF standing right next to the PA all night. 🤘
I've just come across this band. They are really good.
Tommy Victor is a riff master.
Better late than never man!!!!!
So you never heard of Schlong before?
Killer cool guitar.
Tom Vic is the GOAT no other band even comes close to sounding or performing than the one and only mighty PRONG
Old-school Prong fan here. This somehow went completely under my radar, but it's badass! Prong always delivers the goods. Revenge is best served cold...and when it is, just snap your fingers.
I like my Beer best served cold ;-)
You'r a genius
PROOST!
😂😂😂 .. Hey me too
Rene Thiel, I get ya, The song, revenge is a dish better served cold. That is not the lyrics. They just moved the words around a bit, but it still says the same thing. However it is a phrase said over & over through the years. Love them. Dusty the 2nd.
For a lack of cognac and a lack of Maker's Mark 46!
Listenin first time,,it sounds great!!!!good band!!!
Legendary band: go to Force Fed l.p.:-)
I just found them tonight. Its been a good day lol
Some if the best hooks ever................PRONG
HOLY MOTHER OF BATMAN! They sound exactly as I remember. East Coast Hardcore for the win!
Tony Compos on bass Mexican 🇲🇽 power.
The first time I seen Prong live was in 93. It was The Obsessed, Kyuss, Prong, and White Zombie. In Dayton Ohio.
That sounds awesome! What a line up!
That bill kills
Good song. Grooves.
Groove innovators and such a kick ass band
I miss Troy Gregory and Ted Parsons.."Prove you wrong" is one of the best metal albums ever released..
Prove You Wrong is great...Beg To Differ is excellent too...as well as whatever the name of the album is with “Snap Your Fingers”
Cleansing
Troy was only in the band for about 13 months; Tommy has always been the main songwriter / singer
So the former bassists from static-x and the former drummer from winds of plague are in this band, bad ass!! NEver heard of this band until now.
Check out the albums "Beg To Differ" and "Cleansing"! ;)
They've been around since the 90s
BADASS! PRONG legends back with Maximum Force! Riffs from a locomotive with precision leads molded in perfect timing with a powerhouse of bass and drums! Thank You Boys! HEADS are BANGING! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
So good!
I've always thought Prong were pretty good, but this song is awesome!
Still kicking ASS in 2019..
You can say that ,newbie.not original band.
Most underrated band of all time. Tommy Victor is and will forever be a metal God.
Great song, love Prong, don't know why they're underrated they're great.
Uno de los mejores grupos de la historia
Bad Ass.The most unappreciated bands ever.War Indy.
Snap your fingers Snap your neck love it RIP WADE GLOVER my old friend we use to trash to prog 2019 still rocking out 55 now
Let's just take the time to say one thing: Tony Campos' fitting perfectly in. I tell you, he should've stayed in Prong, while (or not) playing with Static-X🙌🏻
I didnt know Tony Campos (Static X) played with Prong!
He also plays with FF
TCB * don’t forget ministry, and Soulfly. Not the only ones but the big ones
I thought that was him. That's cool..
These guys should be playing to bigger venues I was surprised to find out they'll be playing a local club next year where tickets are around $20
I saw them on European tour with King Parrot, Exodus and Obituary. All bands did a huge blast :)
Saw them rock it hard at a small bar in Pittsburgh in the mid-90s. Drown and Clutch opened. Great show!
wow
Seen them at the atomic cafe in Scottsdale circa 97. Probably 50 people
Master King Parrot was at something I personally sponsor / help set up known as RPMfest.
I didn't realize it was Phil Angelo ( PANTERA) doing vox until after.
This was in 2014 & am glad we had him & everyone else that come to play.
BTW, even though its blatant advertising, one can score tix to this year's RPMfest for 40.00 for 3 days worth of God's favorite noise on www.rpmfest.org
The show happens ( unless the world decides to end) on 8/30 & goes til 9/1/2019, so, LABOR DAY WEEKEND!!
At least 50 bands are scheduled to play & With last year's festival, we had 70 coming through including folks like SEVEN SPIRES.
Not sure who's on the bill for this year, but, it should be a killer show regardless, so, if you can make it into the Western MA. area, ( Turners Falls specifically) GET YOUR BUTT TO THIS SHOW!!
Thanks & KEEP IT METAL!!
Chris "Jigsaw" Geoffrey
Sponsor for RPMfest since 2014
You can't go wrong with Prong.
This is on my top kickass metal songs playlist
You can feel the determination in his singing. Saw them back in 2014 in Phoenix. Wicked show!! Best metal show I've seen. Metallica, Megadeth, Slipknot..... all great live acts but don't bring the power Prong brings!!!
0:43 "Look at all the Pintos! Look at all the cars!" Little known fact #666: Tommy loved the '74 Ford Pinto Wagon.
Steve Sullivan looking out the windows not pintos
KILLER GROOVE CRUNCH..GO TOMMY!
Absolutely killer tune!!!!

My go to pre- meditated
MURDER song!!!!
Prong is back and kickin' ass!
Great band
For years, I always skated better at the skatepark when we played prong.
such a good song. And it holds. I'd put this song against anything from Slayer to Megadeth. Prong is a good band.
U FUKKING RULE. listening to your shit from the first album. 50 years old and still love u:)
Killer riff!
Static-X + Powermad (Souls Descending)
power mad>?
Static-X, Soulfly, Fear Factory and Prong... How many bands have Tony Campos played bass in?
Just saw the recent Static X Wisconsin Death Trip anniversary tour. Tony was there. Don't knock it. Singer for Dope did a great job filling in for Wayne!
I always knew it was Edsel behind that mask.
Ozzy too
Don’t forget Ministry and Asesino!
Prong is solid as a rock, dont know why they weren't bigger!!🤔
EPIC!
do they still exist? :) i bought RUDE AWAKENING approximately 100 yrs ago

You're a dumb shit! Don't disrespect Prong like that!!!
Tommy Victor. Ridiculously nice off stage. Ridiculously cool on stage. Prong Rule!
Prong is one hell of a kick ass band
It’s almost impossible to beat Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck, but this is really good (the whole album is).
tony campos bass player of static x is the bass player of prong also
I can see that static x is bomb too.
This is a hit song!
Stunning Song!
