Incantation is one of the hardest working bands in death metal (along with CC). I've seen them three or four times in as many years. I told John after a show that his band was one that used to give me the creeps which he was very pleased to hear! Super dark and evil vibe in their music.
The last several months I’ve been digging Incantation and the one thing that makes them stand out for me is not only is John a talented guitar player, but he’s just super nice and humble, which is how it should be for all metal bands. No ego, no BS.
Damn!! For such a legend and historical figure in the death metal underground, John looks and sounds as a very humble and down to earth man, i know its a cliche kind of thing to write. He's been around the world dozens of times and I'm sure that he has learned of what to do and what not to do on those trips. But still, it just hit me what a gracious gentleman he is. It seems like everyone on the bus (both bands) have respect for everyone's else's space. On the side though, Hehehe, I was just waiting for a 5 pound bag of grass to fall out of one of those overhead compartment ;) . Johns like "i have no idea of whats in those cabinets" and boom, a bag of weed falls out, hahaha. But overall, I was very impressed by Mr John Mcentee, we'll done sir!!!
John is an incredibly approachable, down to earth friendly guy. I was talking to him outside the venue for a bit when I saw Incantation with Marduk in 2017. Incredibly cool dude!

I've had the opportunity many times to speak with Jon and Kyle and they have always been very cool.
I saw him just a couple days ago and he seems to me a nice persona.
Man, what a softspoken rockstar. I've never heard of his band but he genuinely sounds like a nice guy.
I've been listening to Incantation for at least 25 years now. He was more smiley in this video than I was expecting, heh.

I always wanted to be in a touring band, and I’m 54 years old. When I watch videos like this, I realize I wouldn’t make it a week living on a bus.
This one is pretty decent too, imagine living in a van if ur in a opening act or smaller band.

Yup, that's exactly it. The BandWagons don't handle bumps well, so you have to take every precaution that you can.
