Additional to descaling, it makes so much sense to get rid of the accumulated sludge and old grounds caught up in the filter. Apart from improving water flow, it must improve the taste. Many thanks for the sage advice and easy guide.

Phil did you post a video on how to get the descaling light to go off on this machine has been descaled and rinsed. PLEASE HELP!

the orange light will go off if you have cleaned it enough. Maybe you need to go through the descaling process again.

Thank you, I got this dedica recently but haven't done descaling yet. Do I wait till I see the orange light flashing or is it better to descale it earlier?

Wait until the orange light flashes. The machine is very good at knowing when it needs to be done! Make sure you keep this link for when you first need to perform the descaling.
