I recently bought my first Gamecube and am playing Colosseum for the first time, and XD is next. I am sad that I never got to play it properly back in the day, especially when Gen 3 otherwise is my absolute favorite even to this day. I wasn’t unaware of these games then, vice versa I was drooling for them lmao, but my parents didn’t buy me Gamecube so that dream died like that. But the games are nostalgic to me due to that, and it’s cool to finally experience them properly

There is one theme from this game that you missed in this vid. It is the Cipher admin theme. It is so good, it is so intense, most consider better than the final boss theme.
I vividly remember the final battle team. Im pretty sure I made the fight take an hour because of the music and I got emotional because the game was coming to an end. I didn't ever want to stop playing this game. Then the next pokemon game was out and I was happy again. 😂
I never noticed that the theme for the Shadow Pkmn Lab is a parallel of the file select music, that's so cool Also, fun fact: "First Battle" is an arrangement of the original Pokemon Gen1 title music, so it makes sense why it just drives home the "Pokemon" vibes. It's the first time you have any battle at all, and he's not your rival, but you do get a few rematches throughout the game.
If you have not heard colosseum battle round 3, it's a must! Pokemon battle themes are almost all amazing in general, but very few enthrall me as much as that one does every single time! And it's a theme you could miss on a playthrough entirely as you don't have to actually complete a colosseum challenge
When Colosseum and XD get their well-deserved remasters (with updated pokedex/qol) I just want them to use Mirror B's themes for both and their release dates (his theme is different in XD and personally that one is my favorite of the two but can't go wrong with either or any of the music). If you know you know and if you don’t they could explain the next day or something.
The Normal Battle theme and Mirror B theme from Colosseum are by far the most reused tracks when it comes to Pokemon content creators. It's like Deadly Premonition's Whistle song, as the tracks even show up on videos not related to Pokemon due to just how iconic the tunes are.
Just to let you know the 'Final Battle' theme also plays on the 100th trainer of Mount Battle which is where I first heard it as I did Mount Battle before taking on Evice at 'Realgam Tower'. You seriously need to do a playthrough of Colosseum and XD: Gale of Darkness they are amazing games.
you aren't too far off on the final fight reminding you of galar's champion. the reason it's called colosseum is because there are colosseums throughout the game where you face several trainers in a row, and the final boss is fought at the end of one of them.

I also think Emi should react to the Elden Ring OST, specifically “Character Creation”, “Regal Ancestor Spirit”, “Fire Giant”, “Malenia, Blade of Miquela”, and “The Final Battle” cause those are the ones that hit REALLY HARD
Sad to say but the studio that worked on colosseum arent returning so theres no remake coming. I dont think were going to recieve this again in our lifetime 😔

Hell, the Tomb Raider Remasters that came out last week weren’t done by Core Design OR Crystal Dynamics so your logic there is a load of crap…no offense

Theyve worked on pokemon battle revolution soon after. Alot of the people in the studio left and theyve stuck to making puzzle games soon after and a few other spinoffs. Its been prectically like 15 years but we can hope?
