This explains why Victoria Adams-Beckham must do many fashion industry movies. I always believe Victoria goes Hollywood with many fashion industry movies.
Not so much fashion industry movies, but definitely had fashion as a central & transformative part of the story: Clueless, Romy & Michele’s high school reunion, Can’t buy me love, Cruella, Xanadu, Jawbreaker, Pretty woman
Given that this video is about fashion, but Breakfast at Tiffany’s should be included, I love Funny Face, but Breakfast at Tiffany’s has so many fashionable moments.
Audrey Hepburn’s stunning beauty and her iconic outfits make their own list alone. Considering she wore the designs of Givenchy alone showed her fashionista style (he was her personal designer for her red carpet outfits, etc)
Yes! Very underrated movie. I love rewatching it, & there’s so many quotable lines ‘I’ll do the dishes’, ‘park it yourself, Metallica breath’. Even the drag queens that stole the car were superbly dressed & made up as classic 50’s stars
Yes! One of my favorites of the last decade-how is that not on the list? It's hard to take this list seriously without that one on it. Also Unzipped, unless I missed it somehow.
Ooh, I need to see these movies!! I love fashion, I guess Isaac Mizrahi didn't make the list but I believe he did a documentary on himself before he fell out of favor and beloved Versace documentary. I would LOVE to see top 10 fashionable movies now!🤩
very very great epic list I like it a lot very great job mis mojo one of my favorite list ever number one is one of the very best movies ever and cruella should have been on this great list
The woman is the epitome of iconic female styles. The little black cocktail dress in “Breakfast at Tiffany’s” , her red gown in “Funny Face”, her black & white racetrack dress in “My Fair Lady” to her classic black turtleneck with leggings in many famous photo shoots just scream “I’m the queen of fashion”
@@mandalevelsup I don't know if you know a thing called irony, but if not let me explain, I know that this is not a subject for a film about fashion blablabla but my point is that it should not have been about her at all, if the nazis are so hated why make a film about how difficult the life was for someone who simpatized with people that killed minoritys systematically? THAT'S what I meant
documentries don't count as movies, cuz it's non-scripted, the cast are not actors and they are not playing any fictional or semi-fictional roles, plus documentries fall under their own genre that is completely disassociated with a normal story-based movie. biographical films count cuz they are scripted with actors performing roles. Also, a traditional movie follows the same story-structure of a novel: usually a beginning-middle-end version. dokkies don't follow a storyline, a newspaper headline yes, but not a comprehensible story.
I so don’t agree with this list! Meanly because of the subject. It’s a top 10 on movies, yet there are plenty of documentaries. Documentaries are not movies. If documentaries were accepted why not limited series like Halston too? You can argue that Netflix’s version actually is a movie but for its length cut into 8 pieces
Do you know that people want "shout outs" because it triggers a release of dopamine in your brain, a pleasure center that lights up when you anticipate that something good feeling is coming your way...its also why you feel depressed and let down when you don't get it. It is why people waste hours online to get views and likes, it's a constant source of dopamine that they are chasing, a drug that our bodies manufacture. The problem when you can't find anything else to release that shot of feeling good. You have to create different, fun interests or you'll be a slave to your phone. Just a tip!
@@-smolbeanle-6899 I know, its really weird, but once you know this, you can "train" your brain to find other things that also get you happy and excited. It's a magic bullet for establishing behaviour patterns that work for you, instead of against you. If you want to lose weight for instance, reward yourself for even trying, dont take the last bite of cookie, or whatever, and then, to reward yourself, do something or give yourself something makes you happy (that's not food related). You'll start associating the happy rush with not eating, and you won't believe the results. I'm not kidding. It completely worked for me, and the same thing when I wanted to excercise, I rewarded myself afterward with my favorite coffee drink, looking forward to what was coming, made the whole couple of hours before I got to kick back and have it, feel great. Once it becomes a habit, you'll be able to accomplish shit you never dreamed possible!

I think Cruella should be added in this list. That movie banged with fashion, indeed!
you are right that should have been on this great list
which cruella
Cruella looks highly inspired from devil wears prada
Exactly!!
Yes!!!! ❤❤❤
I’m calling The Devil Wears Prada for #1 - the performances are stellar and movie so much fun to watch❤️
Not so much fashion industry movies, but definitely had fashion as a central & transformative part of the story: Clueless, Romy & Michele’s high school reunion, Can’t buy me love, Cruella, Xanadu, Jawbreaker, Pretty woman
Yes!!!!! I Agree
Saw "Funny Face" in college and it's now one of my favorite 50s film. Audrey Hepburn was gorgeous in her dresses and Fred Astaire was awesome.
Given that this video is about fashion, but Breakfast at Tiffany’s should be included, I love Funny Face, but Breakfast at Tiffany’s has so many fashionable moments.
Fashionable moments yes but it's not about the fashion industry
Audrey Hepburn’s stunning beauty and her iconic outfits make their own list alone. Considering she wore the designs of Givenchy alone showed her fashionista style (he was her personal designer for her red carpet outfits, etc)
Oh, yeah. 100% agreed.
Hello Greetings from the Royal family
I will say, until the day I die. Andy's friends in The Devil Wears Prada were and are, total jerks
I 1000000000% agree!!!! Not supportive at all!!!
CRUELLA!!!!! How was that even missed? Seeing that its fairly new and fresh in our minds....
I loved Audrey in Breakfast at Tiffany's - gotta check Funny Face out!
Definitely recommend it. Great musical movie.
It would've been a hell of a plot twist if The Devil Wears Prada wasn't #1
I liked Don't Tell Mom, the Babysitters Dead. Oldest sister has to support her family and fakes her resume to work in fashion.
Yes! Very underrated movie. I love rewatching it, & there’s so many quotable lines ‘I’ll do the dishes’, ‘park it yourself, Metallica breath’. Even the drag queens that stole the car were superbly dressed & made up as classic 50’s stars

"Phantom Thread" not even an HM?
Yes! One of my favorites of the last decade-how is that not on the list? It's hard to take this list seriously without that one on it. Also Unzipped, unless I missed it somehow.
My favorite movie is 13.going on 30. Frist time watch it really good movie rom. Com..songs sound track.
Blood And Black Lace, The Neon Demon and Nothing Underneath (and its sequels) are also fashion movies.
Ooh, I need to see these movies!! I love fashion, I guess Isaac Mizrahi didn't make the list but I believe he did a documentary on himself before he fell out of favor and beloved Versace documentary. I would LOVE to see top 10 fashionable movies now!🤩
Thanks for this video edit: I love your British accent
very very great epic list I like it a lot very great job mis mojo one of my favorite list ever number one is one of the very best movies ever and cruella should have been on this great list
You forgot Unzipped. That should have definitely made the list! Very surprised SATC the Movie wasn’t on here either.
I clicked cause of “Funny Face” due to Fred Astaire 😍
Wish I had his dancing skills. He was a legend in his movies with Ginger Rogers.
Is "Mahogany" staring the fabulous Miss Ross, a joke to you?!?!
That was interesting couple of movies I should try to see, on DVD I suppose
Great list about to watch each and every one of these films . I already seen a few
What about “confessions of a shopaholic.”?
You forget about Gia
Cruella
About "Zoolander" : You forgot to mention the memorable and iconic cameos. How could you forget about David Bowie and Billy Zane?
What about cocoa Chanel movie . Its fantastic
13 Going on 30
Audrey Hepburn

You dont know the difference between a movie and a documentary?
fashion industry does not equal aesthetic, sometimes/most of the time it’s the polar opposite to what is beautiful, pure, and good.
Hello Greetings from the Royal family
Pleasantly surprised to see Mannequin here!
That’s my favourite film!
No Cruella? How?
cruella should definently be added to this.
Where can I locate this documentary very interesting from my era
Hello Greetings from the Royal family
What about The Gospel According to Andre?
I see Audrey i clicked
You forgot about The Great Muppet Caper, you Philistines!
i think we all knew which movie was going to be number one…
The fact that catwalk wasn’t included is a crime !
No Cruella? Instant dislike!
Mahogany starring Diana Ross and Cruella.
I've only watched The Devil Wears Prada before not the rest
should I be surprised cruella not on the list?
I love Cruella movie
Oh my God if Ugly Betty was not a TV series.
I never watched the Chanel one but I hope they put the part when she worked with the nazis and everything
Stopped in the comments to say this. Like did this delicate portrayal get into the part where she was a whole Nazi spy?

That was soooo creepy !! Imagine you organize a store window & a supposedly fake mannequin starts talking.
I prefer Cruella is #1
cruella is the best
If the list included tv series UglyBetty would've been at least in the top 3
Where is Cruella???
Agree

I agree, they should have said Films
Where is Halston & Cruella?!
I found Coco Before Chanel extremely boring as it deliberately omits the fashion😂

yep i knew it
E o Documentário do Alexander Mcqueen????
Hello Greetings from the Royal family
I mean that's the name
Top 10 movies? Documentaries??
👍👍❤✔️

There's a lot more stuff like that...
I watch this to get more known with the world of fashion. At this point, it doesn't work.
Thought this Canadian-based channel wouldn't let that butchered British pronunciation of Yves Saint Laurent slide but oh well
