An extremely important moment occurs in the very short "interaction" between Black Thumb and Furiosa at 3:12. Black Thumb knows he is dead, he knows the war rig must and can be fixed by Furiosa, but he also knows Furiosa's ultimate goal (to escape.) In the small moment where their eyes meet, an understanding/agreement is established without words "this bike is gone, fix the war rig, this is your way out". Its as if these thoughts are transmitted just through the eye contact alone. As she accepts the hose, she accepts his final wish. Incredible!!! This movie is a masterpiece!!!!!
For me it was actually one of the best movies of the year. Really colorful, action packed, well directed and overall a really fun, inventive and entertaining movie that didn’t need to flop. I think it’s actually a solid prequel to Fury Road, in some ways it’s just as good as that. I love clear action sequences like this
So colorful that it looks like a cartoon. Lol, what a piece of s hit. This and Fury Turd. Clear action sequences ??? You really don´t know anything. What are you ? 10 years old ?
The guy who designed the War Rig horn for "Fury Road" probably thought his job was done only for George Miller to come at him with a whip howling "Mooore!"
Seriously. I'm not gonna lie, the blast of that horn was a contributing factor into why I chose to see this in Imax a second time. It was invigorating, it filled the whole theater. I want it as my text notification lol
in terms of precision and overall direction, this is the best movie of the year. sadly they indeed fcked up with the cgi sometimes but that doesnt take away georges genius. he excelled here by using all of the syntax cinema has to offer and even enhances it maybe. this is astounding
I really wish you would’ve included the scene seconds before this- where the bikers are manically revving their engines and kicking up dirt. Such a badass shot
Ridley Scott is almost 90, and he continues to release films of this scale almost every year. Miller, on the other hand, shoots at best once every ten years.
@@tonyvisente5286 anyway, sir ridley is a legend. he could have stopped filming back in the 90s, since he had more than enough great films in his career, and he had already written himself into history. but he continues to film, sometimes he makes mistakes, sometimes he produces hits again, but he is still full of energy and he has something to say to the younger generation. well, miller has been shaking over his max his entire career. and i have nothing against him, but in comparison with sir ridley, the choice is obvious. there is no genre in which ridley scott would not have made a film. even the shittiest film by scott would have been a good option for many directors of a smaller caliber. and i dont understand the vultures that pounce on ridley scott every decade of his career, when something goes wrong even a little bit, forgetting about all his previous merits. after all, he gave us blade runner, alien and gladiator.

This movie is great but the plot seems to be three movies or 8 episodes of a series, edited, cut and mixed together to make one movie. a lot of plot for a movie from the Mad Max universe.
@@bigsmoke4345yea apparently all that explosions damaged the area from the first movie so i can understand the cgi(still bad tho) the only thing that was against it was the fatigue of girl power action movie/shows, this shit actually respected all the characters, and yet the streets didnt ask for this movie and only a mad max easter egg at that 😮💨 This might be the end of the mad max series, if the director dont croak by the time he convince the top brass to give him a budget, which will take a llllooooooonnngg time
