#11 To escape easily when you rob a bank.
Sigh... Another kid whos played to much GTA
Nah, that won't help because the police comes with helicopters in such cases.
XDDD! 😂😂😂
Bruh there is security in the bank with guns
No that's one of the 100 reasons you'd need to escape
My main reason for doing parkour is, for me, it’s basically just an updated and more mature/cool way of playing. Playing just as I did when I was a kid in a playground, the cool part is everywhere is now my playground.
And also it overall feels great to be able to free roam your surroundings as you’d do in a video game, not being limited by average boundaries.
I'm 65 and one of the hardest thing for me was to admit "I just want to play." Did you know that playing is one of the best ways to slow the aging process?
That's that's what I think about when I look at parkour, like why it seems interesting to me I think on a basic level is that it's just like playing on a jungle gym in elementary school or bouldering with your friends, except it's a bit more grown up, with a whole community, and more jumps and tricks you can do
Some more reasons to train and practice parkour:
You can chase people (think someone stealing your mother's purse)
You get stronger, faster, more agile and flexible
You lose a lot of weight
You build muscle without paying for a gym
You don't get cancer, diabetes or a heart attack due to a "sedentary lifestyle"
You learn to focus and hush your mind - in a way parkour is like meditation
You learn how to deal with pain
You see the world with new eyes
Obstacles become opportunities
You have a reason to get up in the morning (training)
You can meet new people
You reduce the risk of depression, anxiety and other mental health issues dramatically
You can work as a firefighter
You can stop or slow aging
You can grow up faster (by taking responsibility for your actions)
You can become a circus artist
You can become a stunt person and work for movies
You can become an influencer like Ronnie, Storror or Jesse La Flair.
You can travel the world (often people will host you for free)
You become very disciplined (by training daily e.g.)
Spoiler : Cancer (just like heart attack) can occur anytime, for anyone, even if you are an athlete. Sport only reduce the chances it occurs.
Arc2301 Take note that I'm talking about sedentary lifestyle that extremely contributes to a higher risk of cancer etc. When you smoke or hold your smartphone to your head all day you will get cancer probably. It's very true. I actually started parkour to setup my suicide as an accident and then it actually saved me and became a part of my life.
Good question. As far as I know you just need to make sure you are properly hydrated and pause whenever needed to maintain a stable blood sugar level. When training with a group don't run until you drop just to prove your manliness.

#1 reason to do parkour -- because it's FUN. I'm 50 years old, overweight, and I generally hate exercise. And I'm going through menopause. But after losing 40+ pounds -- and halfway to a healthy weight -- I signed up for parkour classes because it looked FUN. After my first class, I have learned that I can't do a pull-up, I can't even hang from the bar for ten full seconds. My failure at most QM exercises has convinced me I can't possibly know how to walk. And even though I was once a dancer, I can't even keep my balance on a 8-inch wide platform while walking across it. So with me in the class, parkour is not only fun, it's funny. Best of all, now that I'm in a parkour class, I have an excuse (other than menopause) to be jumping on benches in the park. Fun. Just for fun.
Wow, you have parkour classes in your area? Which country are you from?
@@vibodhj349 *_AMERIKA FUCK YEAH_*
Nice story I,m a kid and I can do parkour at like the park I climb up the hand rails and bars I do gate vaults and Kong vaults safety speed etc. I can do back flips side flips and front flips I can dive roll I jump off the slides at the top and when I hit the ground I do the safety roll and if yr looking for some exercise routines I have some on my channel
You are my new hero... are you still doing parkour!? How's it going?
I think I love you. Lol.
What are other good reasons to learn parkour?
Getting away from your parents when they see your grades
I am from indian
And parkour is my passion

It's a Sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by Running, Jumping & Climbing.
Mix Martial Arts I’ve been wanting to get into parkour but haven’t built up the courage yet.
But I feel inspired and motivated to. The only thing I know is vaulting and somewhat on how to do a safety roll.
TheZigzagGamer theN gO!
Zigzag What does courage have to do with parkour?
Like search up how to do kong vault on RUclips and btw the obstacle needs to be like one metre in order for it to be safe

A few reasons to learn parkour for me:
1.) To run away from friends easily.
2.) to be flexible
3.) so my friends can't chase me easily 😂
4.) to let my friends wonder how I can land safely from a high place 😂
Edit: my mom doesn't want me to learn parkour for some reason (probably injuries or something??) SMH
my reasons:
1: so I can do those cool and fun looking things pro does at times
2: so I can be like a superhuman
3: so it does'nt look weird but awsome when i run to the store
4: why not 😏😂
Do it anyways.

Bro it's better to practice in fun but it's not easy to make a team. I have asked all my friends to train with me but all are afraid of Parkour
@@ibstf2 yup dude
It actually happened. I was going to see Black Sabbath on their farewell tour and right outside the arena some guy just ripped out a ticket from another's hand and started running with it. Nobody reacted so I started sprinting and a chase ensued. The guy was very fast but thanks to my minimal parkour skills I could cut off from his lead on staircases and fences eventually catching up with him and returning the ticket to it's owner who was in no condition to run. You do feel like the coolest dude on Earth afterwards.
I think parkour is badass thats why I'm starting to learn, so you can say I have a passion for it as well because I enjoy it a lot.
Learn karate so u can kick everyone in the face
Me too like parkour. I like it after watch spiderman movie, but yeah i haven't mastered it. Still study
@@metheguywhoasked Yea, these days I can't find time and I have a big fear of pain so it's not easy to build up courage. I managed to jump a metal fence and now I am pretty used to it but one time my foot got caught and almost slammed my face into the hard metal but I was lucky and lightly hit my head on the ground.
@@betterhansin i can't train parkour anymore because of this darn dang COVID!!
I've been watching you for years Ronnie, so glad you haven't gotten seriously injured yet, have a nice day! 😊
'Parkour doesn't imply that you become stupid but it implies that you think rationally' - Ronnie
Why are you saying "yet" like he is going to be injured? There are people who never get injured because they aren't stupid. He is one of them.
*Yet*
Lord Lampington There’s someone in my school who has broken bones dozens, and she doesn’t do parkour, while I’ve only broken bones 3.5 times and I do parkour. 2 of the times were hitting certain types of cracks while Ripstiking, and I wasn’t wearing any pads, so I fell in a curve with my arm out, and then my upper left forearm bent backwards and snapped. The other main time was when I was running with wet cleats on, and then I jumped onto wet plywood, and I slipped up, flew many feet in the air, and then fell and hairline fractured my tibia. I actually didn’t even realize how far it was until I checked afterwards. Also, I would probably land properly next time, and I normally did that in general, but that time, it just so happened to be wet outside, and I just so happened to be wearing cleats. The same thing actually happened to someone else, and he just slid and he was fine. The other half incident was falling off of my waist-height bed, onto my leg a week or so after getting the cast off, and then I think I partially cracked my fibula.

Parkour looks and seems really fun but it's just way to hard for me :( I know some moves but only basic ones, such as the parkour roll, backwards roll and a couple more jumps and stuff.
I started training more as an escape. Not gonna go in to all the deep emotional stuff but basically helped me stop thinking about life for a bit. Happiest id ever been was both doing parkour and dancing because both I found just help me forget.
I’ve became quite good in parkour for ur incredible lessons

parkour was kinda easy for me when i saw the more advanced things like the wallrun or kong
I've tried a lot of sports in the past (everything from football to figure skating) and been generally dissatisfied with all of them. I've recently been wondering what new sport to try, because I do really enjoy being active. I'd been considering some really esoteric stuff like breakdancing and aerial silks, but this video made me decide on parkour! You've got yourself a sub my dude :D
Because Ronnie is always in a great mood thats why you should be learning parkour! Thats why he has the tutorials on his channel!
Parkour help us to get out from an area by climbing walls and jumping from many obstacles.
I've been doing parkour heavily since January ever since I was watching your 30day parkour challenge because I was already into it however I never really pushed myself to go farther with it but now I've learned to double kong and lots of other stuff just from you. I'm more of a tricker now than a parkourist but I still train every day in both disciplines,I guess I'm just saying thank you because you and a few other people motivated me to get over fear and push through barriers I never thought I could😄
I live in the center of a suburban residential area so pretty much any kind of parkour I do is trespassing.

HideFromMimiS Only if you do something stupid. If you just run, jump and climb within your skill level unless you’ve gotten good at what you’re doing and you just move up to the next thing like 5 ft drop mastery and starting 6ft drop for example, you’re not going to die. It’s only if you decide to jump from a great height that you’re not even close to jumping from, and especially if it’s a height that anyone would die from, or something like that, you would die.
I really wanna learn parkour Ronnie but i dont live in any urban areas where there's alot of rails and stuff

Thats so good you are the best parkour runner on the world
In parkour we do not compete with others to become the best. We compete with our former selves to become the best version of yourself.
i can argue with that though he is pretty awesome
In parkour we do not compare ourselves to others. It only matters whether you are your best possible self. You only compete with yourself. Let others inspire you instead.

How to build upper body strength for parkour for a 14 - 15 years boy???
Try doing push-ups, (if you can't do regular ones then try a modified version), do pulls ups and other things like pull ups that involve a bar.
That and also just practicing parkour moves that involve upper body strength.
Just run a lot,and do push ups (if you can do it the normal version go with a wall and put your body in a horizontal-vertical pose and star doing push ups like that

I would love your perspective on the Renaissance hotel in Detroit. During big conventions the first 5 levels get pretty crowded and the only way down are, elevators (which are for hotel guest use only) the stairs for emergency use only and the escalators. To get to the thrid floor there is only one set of escalators, so i was wondering what your perspective would be about using parkour to travel from floors 1-5, or if its too dangerous to attempt?

I started as research for writing. They say to write what you know, but I really wanna write about characters who do parkour. Only one solution as far as I can see! :D
It's also great because I keep getting repetitive motion injuries from traditional exercises. Sure, I still need to do normal exercises to build up a bit more muscle, but I can focus a lot more on "real world" movements and have much greater variety to how I move.
I'm still at a very basic level now, but I hope to gain at least enough skill to move fluidly, even if I'm never super impressive. I've already increased my formerly-very-pitiful jumping distance and overcome fear of jumping over a little height, so it's working out for me!
