  • Scientists have managed to prove pomegranates anti-aging potential: intestinal bacteria transform a molecule contained in the fruit with spectacular results. Although tests in humans are still underway, scientists have already published the initial promising results from animal studies in the journal Nature Medicine.

Pyrroloquinoline Quinone in Kiwi Fruit works, too.
Yellow Raspberries from Europe contain even more ELLAGIC ACID. As does the mushroom used as a chemotherapy adjuctant Phellinus Linteus.

This is an awesome discovery! Eating pomegranate or perhaps pomegranate juice would do and combined it with a whole foods diet, it's a great combo. Researchers mentioned this molecule needs to be breakdown by gut the bacteria and whole foods preferably organic among the best ways to improve gut health along with probiotics, of course.

i think the key to longevity is to analyze the microbiome of a naked mole rat, blue whale and other longevity champions. maybe their strains are produceing some interesting things, which promote longevity

Thats silly, who says the microbiome is the reason those species liver longer? You have no proof, in fact science knows the reason they live long and it isnt the microbiome. Maybe you need to go back and do some more research before you profess to know what we should do.

Not all of us have these gut bacteria....So if one does not have these bacteria ( not specified in this video), then what is one to do to benefit from Pomegranate ?
Is there a specific probiotic to supplement to help this process along. I would suppose it depends on who you are. Could I tell my diabetic Grand-Aunt to take Pomegranate
to help with her diabetes or anyone over 80? Sometimes, too much hope is hurtful....That USA "YOU CAN DO IT !" mentality is painful for those who cannot cope.....

all that anti aging talk...is nice , but, we are not meant to live forever
A good "Death" is a good life.....If you lived long enough in good health to realize that life is an illusion, and a hellish type of illusion at that sometimes,
then, you have lived a good life and towards a good death.....Keeping yourself health put a lesser burden and and strain on those around you and society as a whole.
So, to all of you, live well to a smooth ending....

Im just so scared of eternal oblivion. Even if i somehow delude myself to be ready for it, i want to at least choose when it happens. We can fucking do this in our lifetimes. Many will be willing to be a borderline lab rat to live longer in the end. I at least want today not be my midlife crisis. I have a cocktail of mental disorders that made my life hell.
