When it comes to Mihawk I'd put him around the same tier as a yonkou like shanks. I think the reason Mihawk isn't as feared is because he doesn't have the enormous crew that a yonkou does.

I think Mihawk and Shanks are equals or very close like 1a 1b. Kind of like a Roger WB dynamic but different. Mihawk IMO seems very casual so far in the series almost never interested and doesnt put anymore effort into things than needed but obviously a legend that has pursued individual strength while Shanks is more active because of his influence and also one of the strongest but with his overall power coming from his crew which i think is the strongest crew in the series

Other than Mihawk being the WGS, they have shown nothing to be over another. i have mihawk over shanks because his haki feats arent that great. if u think about it splitting the sky isn't that impressive. Luffy could make a hole that big in the sky with his fist. if shanks showed at the war by himself he would have gotten jumped by the marines. The war stopped because of an entire crew, not just shank. Mihawk was literally knows as a hawk because of his observation haki. we know he has better haki than luffy so mihawk must have future sight. conquerors haki is a guarantee because any big shot without CH would have gotten jumped and placed with WB and ace. Mihawk turned his blade into a black blade because of the Armourment haki. he has all 3 haki boxes checked higher than shanks. We also know that mihawk is a better swordsman. only weak example here is the CH.

When you compare Big Mom in WCI and Big Mom in Wano, Big Mom was easily way more impressive by far , simply because she was the main threat on WCI, and plotwise the objective was to run. So for plot purpose, Kaido had to be THE YONKO and Big Mom just a secondary mid tier boss alongside the all stars. It's a shame because she is a yonko and I like her character but her treatment on Wano is so awful I can't defebd people who slander her after what Oda did to her. We know Mihawk has tendencies to not go all out, against zoro he says “why would I use a cannon to kill a rabbit” or something along those lines.
So no, he was not trying against Vista, it even shows him looking away from Vista while he’s watching Luffy run away. He then has an internal monologue while blocking attacks.

i have mihawk over shanks because his haki feats arent that great. if u think about it splitting the sky isn't that impressive. Luffy could make a hole that big in the sky with his fist. if shanks showed at the war by himself he would have gotten jumped by the marines. The war stopped because of an entire crew, not just shank.
Mihawk was literally knows as a hawk because of his observation haki. we know he has better haki than luffy so mihawk must have future sight. conquerors haki is a guarantee because any big shot without CH would have gotten jumped and placed with WB and ace. Mihawk turned his blade into a black blade because of the Armourment haki. he has all 3 haki boxes checked higher than shanks. We also know that mihawk is a better swordsman. only weak example here is the CH.

Both Mihawk and Shanks fights with swords. And one is the greatest swordman and the other is a powerful swordman with a great haki mastery. I truly think both of them have great chance to defeat Kaido. I still put Kaido in number one spot but it can go either way, kaido can win against them or they can win against him.
If Big Mom is so low it's becase Oda made her dirty on Onigashima. I mean plotwise Kaido is the main antagonist, the final boss of the arc, so Big Mom and Kaido will ahve a different portrayal. When you compare Big Mom in WCI and Big Mom in Wano, Big Mom was easily way more impressive by far , simply because she was the main threat on WCI, and plotwise the objective was to run.
So for plot purpose, Kaido had to be THE YONKO and Big Mom just a secondary mid tier boss alongside the all stars. It's a shame because she is a yonko and I like her character but her treatment on Wano is so awful I can't defebd people who slander her after what Oda did to her. This arc would have been better without Big Mom
