Thanks for posting Eric, even though you were having one of those days. Some of us can go into stealth mode and dodge coworkers and work when we're having a rough time, but you're putting yourself out there for us. I know that I, and pretty much everyone else, appreciate every minute you give us. Some days you're the statue, and some days you're the pigeon.
Yes sir, kind of hard to hide when you're the guy in charge haha. Appreciate all of you viewers that stick thru to the end too 👍🏼With out loyal viewers like yourself, there would be no SMA period!
@Rick O'Sidhe Yep, been there, done that, and more recently, it was an editing thing, had to just momentarily shelve it, and the next morning, badda bing, badda boom solved while fresh and alert. It didn't take long either.
If you want to "repay" him---- Look just below the video above us, and there is a heart there that says "thanks" --- click on it and send him some money. Done.
Me too, learned alot of Eric and his videos, especially about diagnostics, hunting the ghosts. Spiced with some humor and some hints of a lovely family. I'm not using much time on RUclips, but SMA soon I've seen all published. Even all the brake jobs, hehe. I can recommend to buy some of the merch who is for sale. I've bought a few shirts, hoodie, etc, and had it for some time now. Quality is good, so it's well spent money. Eric gets a small portion of the sale.

I gotta say thanks for always posting diagnostic videos, I could easily follow your videos unlike many others on here. I never really got this perspective from tech school, so it helps, it was always book and lecture not too much in field training.

Hey Eric O it's ok to be a bit grumpy some days! But you stuck with it to determine that it wasn't the Human created 'Rats nest' behind the Dash, but an Actual Rats nest under the Brake booster! Good Job!!
I agreeing out with another viewer you were just having one of those bad days sir , and seeing a car like this make sure days even worse , out here in California when you see cars with added security systems it's the same kind of crap as what you're talking about it's called cut it out and put it back to factory it's just that simple I think even you told us that from time to time all right Eric keep up the good work .
I had a 2012 base model version of this car that I did add foglights to which meant doing some creative wiring, however I did document all the wiring I did and used as much of the already existing factory wiring that was available. When I sold the car I made sure the new owner got a copy of the added wiring documentation, outlining what circuits I tapped in to and had a wiring diagram of the relay control wiring I used for the foglights. I also added factory cruise control to this car and a few other upgrades (factory rear disc brake upgrade from drums) as well as added the SE model instrument cluster which allowed me to turn off the traction control which wasn't possible on the S model. Long story short. If your going to mess around with the car, document everything you did and send it with the car when you sell it so if something goes sour later on, the person who has to fix it knows what you did and why you did what you did.
Eric I have walked away from a couple of jobs last couple of weeks. One was a. Vehicle that was in a flood. Sometimes the right thing to do for yourself is to walk away from it. Great video as always 🍺🍺🍺
Having watched tons of your vids I didn't think you would tap out that soon . But as Jim Rockford used to say to Angel " I don't need that stink in my package . " There is a time for a timely strategic retreat .
Stay cool Eric O. ! It's been damn hot in PRNY. Best thing to do sometimes is to walk away, clear your mind and go back at it. We all think your the best!
He purchased a new radio so that someone (not you Dr. O) could hack up the wiring harness, install more butt connectors (and extra wires that don't go to anything) and HOPEFULLY, solve the problem lol!
G’day Eric I couldn’t blame you at all for walking away from it, you don’t know ware it will end, down here it the techs come across anything like this they send it to auto electrician. John
I can understand that if someone else has already poked around everywhere you are looking now, yikes maybe you should run away! The mouse nest is intriguing though. Hope the problem is there. Me off to see part II now!

But you stuck with it to determine that it wasn't the Human created 'Rats nest' behind the Dash, but an Actual Rats nest under the Brake booster! Good Job!!
Am I the only one that wants a video on that super sweet Probe in the shop? Probably, but damn I haven't seen one of those in years

You do great work.

Ford Probe, god I loved them when I was younger. Very few here now, all rusted out in the UK
I hope you have a better day tomorrow Eric
Wish you were my mechanic in Las Vegas. Remind me of how my dad used to think through and diag. Great stuff keep it up 👍🏻
Thanks Eric. Hang in there brother.
Hang in there brother tomorrow will be a better day...
Better luck tomorrow. Thanks for the ride.
I love these outdoor repair videos maybe Mrs O will set up a picnic for lunch 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you, Eric.
He purchased a new radio so that someone (not you Dr. O) could hack up the wiring harness, install more butt connectors (and extra wires that don't go to anything) and HOPEFULLY, solve the problem lol!
Eric thank you for always being real about your job and profession. You are a master and it’s great to know even the best have rough things occur.
A Ford Probe!!!! I wanted to see the Bumpy Hood! lol Btw, These diagnosis videos are the best. Thank you
You've got this Son.. stick with it ... you'll be the better man ...
I don't blame you for being reluctant to take this on, I certainly don't like cleaning up other peoples messes
Gotta love Eric. Even on the bad days he still puts out a video spreading his knowledge to us.
Never mind the Focus we need a video of the Probe. Haven't seen one in ages!
G’day Eric I couldn’t blame you at all for walking away from it, you don’t know ware it will end, down here it the techs come across anything like this they send it to auto electrician. John
You never cease to amaze me mate - "excited to see a mouse nest".
I can understand that if someone else has already poked around everywhere you are looking now, yikes maybe you should run away! The mouse nest is intriguing though. Hope the problem is there. Me off to see part II now!
At one point you was thinking about passing on this job. Here we call this a D.T.S job (Down The Street)😊I know in my almost 40 years career as a mechanic I had to turn down a few jobs because there was too many hands in pot.
Hey Eric, Don't walk away.. RUN from IT!!!!!
Things always look better in the morning.
