Still leaving random gifts at doors of homes who I know needs a pick me up. One year into this, our friends and neighbors, and people we haven't met yet, still need random acts of kindness.
This will make a wonderful 50th anniversary gift for my ‘second’ mom! She’s done so many wonderful things for me over the years. Can’t think of a more beautiful and versatile gift for her. And, since she doesn’t sew, she won’t know how easy it was to make. But, she’ll know it was made with love!

Oh, I have a friend who would love the patriotic colors in a table runner and I would too. Such a great way to have a panel with different designs that coordinate.

I'm teaching my 4 year old how to sew and quilt (lots of supervision...)! She loves making quilts and gifts for her grandparents and aunts to share her love - this is perfect 🥰

These wonderful little treasures would be perfect for my grandma's upcoming birthday! She had a heart attack not that long ago and has been stuck inside due to COVID. She's been terrified of having another heart attack and we haven't been able to be there for her. These would make a really cute hostess gift when you are invited to have dinner at a friend’s house (yes, we do have a couple of friends that we are visiting during COVID!). Love these! I would make the runner for my mother and the coasters for my sister and brother in law. As a beginner, they would allow me to make something beautiful I could be proud of and give them to my dear ones who live so far away from me and haven't been able to visit (pandemic!) in over a year.

As a Texan, I've been without water since Valentine's Day due to Snowmageddon. I nearly cried when my neighbor asked me if I'd like to use her shower instead of one more bucket bath! If I'd had this idea last week, it would have been the perfect thank you gift. (P.S. I STILL have no water, so it would be a perfect thanks for letting me have a weekly shower here for several weeks gift!)
