Thanks so much for the dyno run on the stock KLX300. The stock KLX250 was only 18hp at the rear wheel so the 300 engine with the increased cc and cam modification is a big improvement. I have a 2021 KLX300 with KX snorkel, Twin Air Filter, FMF Q4 exhaust and EJK fuel controller now tuned to the bike and the O2 sensor removed with the bypass bongle installed. The DynoJet reads 25.4 hp @ 8k rpm with 17 ft/lbs of torque @ 7.7k rpm....not bad for no internal engine mods. This little bike acts like a "tractor" riding in the woods at slow speeds and just keeps pulling along. My dyno sheet was almost the same, showing the cam operation increase between 7-8k rpm. It really does no good to run the engine much above the 8.5k range as the hp and torque have fallen off the highs. Thanks again.....
What cam mod did you do? The MCM?? My father just got this to put behind my enduro/GNCC race bikes (Honda 450cc 4 stroke & TM Racing 300cc 2 stroke). What's the best thing to do for airbox? What is the best gearing for low end grunt AND keeping some power up top? Going to buy him a full Pro Circuit Exhaust and Power Commander V with the full PC map. You are the first person I heard of adding the MCM to the fuel injected KLX300R, so I'm guessing it does make a difference?? So 5 mods then?: 1. Air box 2. Pwr Cmdr V 3. Full PC Exhaust 4. primary drive ratio change 5. Marc Cam Mod
Where did you buy the twin air filter kit for this bike and KDX snorkel? Thank you so very much, cause I would like Dad to fully enjoy the engine of this bike...my TM Racing 300 with aftermarket engine scared him half to death after power wheelieing around 40 ft accidentally, and he went and bought this, but wants more power now. lol He NEVER got on the 450...lol
Iv got the same mods on my '18 250 and dyno'd at 23.8 at the wheel. If u take your airbox lid off, and cut the back fire screen u should get more. Made a noticeable difference on mine.
Out of curiosity what are your EJK settings

Can't wait to see the new Honda 300L
From what I’ve been reading dudes are already swapping to the CBR300r ecu’s and getting 30hp plus. I’m curious as well to see what they’re actually putting down
@@latituderider it’s a straight swap from what I’ve read. However, I believe you have to move a few pins around to have functioning instruments. That’s going to be a fun bike to play around with IMO.
26.35hp and 27nm of torque on a different dyno.
All the reviews say the Kawasaki has better suspension. More power means nothing if the suspension isn't up to the task.
@@Dave-sw2dm they do for sure. However, suspension is easier upgraded vs an engine

Can you do the klx300r to compare how similar the engines are?
The 300R doesn't have the restrictions, that the street legal KLXs have to deal with.
You can adjust both fuel and ignition, on the 300R with a Powercommander.
I'd like to see the KLX300 on the dyno with my O2 dongle, just to compare it.
Dirtrider, hit me up, I'll send you an O2 dongle, if you can get it redynoed.

There is a different dyno guy on RUclips that got 26hp stock, took air lid off and got 27.
What a beast 😳
The skin on a custard is safe.
KLX 300 R please 😁👌🏼
strange torque curve!
What gear was the transmission in for those numbers? Makes a difference.
if he starts in 1st he is then in 4th :)
What is the power produced in the wheels or in the engine?
In the rear wheel
@@repto15 enormous power for a motorbike weighing not more than 150 kg

R u doing mods?
This is pretty embarrassing for a 300 lol the 2017 WR250X Dyno I just watched he got 24.7 whp and is lighter! The 09 Drz400sm hits 34whp so what’s the deal Kawasaki?? This is as big of a turd as the 09 250sf was better luck next time I guess 😂
My friend have you heard of Cali emissions. And they fact they have been stricter in recent years. The bike runs very lean from the factory even the 2020 300r the dirtbike version that I personally own. The bike is fast and accelerates fast. The other reason these bikes make low power is because the dual sport and super moto are running 47 tooth rear compared to 50 on the dirtbike. Also the dirtbike power wheelies in first dn second and can pop up in third keep it up all the way through 6th gear till you hit about 70ish which is were it starts to tapper off in power.
I googled it Kawasaki claims that there 33 HP from the factory . 🤔 so I googled it again now it said 26 HP from the factory . The guy at the Kawasaki dealer said the Dino on this video is wrong ! WTF !
Lmao the dyno is not going to lie, I wouldn’t even be able to shop at thay dealer after hearing that😂
Power rated by kawasaki at factory specs is done at the flywheel or crankshaft, 26 is what they say. Dyno runs will give you horsepower at the wheels, which is 23.4, you typically lose 10% hp when testing on dyno vs. Oem ratings
No mods??
Correct.

Klx lemah lebih bagus sering KX
Klx 300 just 23hp😂
Indo have gasgaz 85 25hp 2stroke
And? You can’t get a two stroke street legal in the states
It's low on lower cause It runs lean so it can pass retarded Cali emission standards
bring the 2 stroke
23 hp !!! 😭
my 180cc honda supra gtr have a 36,2 HP
So sad 😞
That is one slow 300cc🤣

@@mrredline3940 I won’t be able to get monetized period with no content lol. And that’s false there’s a kid who has close to 7k and started by doing this and he’s still doing it to this day on the same channel.
Can we please get a KLX450? Or a WR450? These Japs are SO close to the exact bike I want.
