Let me know if you have any additional questions to camera menu
Drones and Electric Unicycles thank you so much for this!!
OMG those tiger stripes were driving me CRAZY, I absolutely thought I needed to reinstall the app. Yeesh you have no idea how much this drove me crazy! You’re an insanity savior! Lol
Yeah, I’m a new DJI owner, going from Bebop2 to DJI was quite the culture shock.
I love it though. I may have more questions as time goes by, thank you for this lesson! 🙏
Much appreciated.
Subbed & liked!
Thanks. I adjusted the settings and it really made a difference. Appreciate your video.
Great job. I learned more in these few minutes then hours reading a book on photography.
Great job - this was VERY helpful. Thank you.
thank you for the video,it was really helpful
Many thanks for the detailed explanation.
Nice explanation and very helpful. Gets a thumbs up from me. (already subbed)
Great post man i love all drones quads quadcopters!!!

Nice work and appreciate you taking the time to share with us:>)
Nice video, thanks for the tips and time making it.
Very informative and easy for a photo newbie like me to understand. Thanks
Very helpful thank you
Thanks for info helped me on my magic pro
Many Thanks, Excellent teaching for camera setting.
Mukesh Vadodaria - INDIA
Great video Henrik. I have a fear of camera adjustments above auto but you make it look easy. Maybe someday I will have some type of understanding camera adjustments. At least with your videos I can gain some confidence towards future challenges.
Earl, it not very complicated but I understand the fear. But hey what's the worst that can happen, just go out practice and have fun, and you will figure it out.
thank you ,..this is very helpful.... i wish i can learn more about the shutter speed and frame rate in relation to video
Ray Fok you can I made a video about this topic: ruclips.net/video/AC2Z84evhis/видео.html
Thanks for this. With a bit of testing with my Mavic Air I have found the footage with the default Style settings (0 0 0) to be a bit soft. On the recommendation of other Mavic Air pilots I tried a sharpness setting of +1. I think this works very well and I prefer this to sharpening the image in post. Also, Polar Pro has excellent ND filters available for the Air now. I would recommend them. Thanks again,
Thank you for feedback. I'm going out tomorrow range testing, so I will make sure to try it out.
Hi, thank you for your lesson ,by the way which is the biggest size of mini sd card that i can use for M.air ? Thanks
Cheat-sheets for printing out would be super helpful for use in the field.
Hi. I have i question. I am using a sandisk extreme pro v30 memory card and in both custom or manual settings, i get a perfect video...but when i start turning the mavic air around its perpendicular axis (rudder means) the image goes to completely unclear. Sould i further adjust the control lever responce? It is currently set at 9...thanks.
Hello Henrik - thanks for your work in helping others ! All settings for filming which I set before flying would they stay on for next filming sometimes in the future or I have set them again before each flight? Thanks - Karel
Karel Arnold they stay until you change them
Thank you for posting. Are you going to get the polar pro filters? Would love to learn how to use them properly
Yes, I will get filters for my Air. Watch this toturial I have made about ND filters and how to use them properly. It's for Mavic Pro, but the principles are the same.
Thank you!!
There is no D-Cinlike on my dji mavic air.. any help?
do you get warp image while panning?
My manual settings keep changing light like auto and am getting a m exposure metre disabled ? Thanks
Hello. I love your videos and information you provide. I have a question for you. In this video while looking at the screen capture at about 50 seconds duration I see that you are recording in 1080p / 24 FPS.....just above that I see a small yellow triangle on the SD card...same as I see on the internal memory....a small yellow triangle....have you noticed that and may I ask if you have tried to figure out why does this appear. Please let me know if you are curious as I am. Thanks again
Kim Aswani this because the card is not fast enough for 4k footage
Thanks for your reply but what about the internal storage yellow icon. How come the dji people did not consider providing an option for recording 4K. So am I to assume that the internal storage provided is only for jpegs images and for 1080p. But even at that rate of 1080p...the internal memory still has the yellow sign..... now I am so confused. Can you please explain and elaborate in detail. Thanks.
Kim Aswani the internal storage is ok for 4k recordings. I had an old SD card class 10 mounted during the tutorial and It's what causing the yellow triangle.
Thank you for your reply. I have ordered a new micro Sd Card - Sandisk Extreme 64GB MicroSDXC UHS-I Class 3 90 MB/s Memory Card with Adapter (SDSQXVF-064G-GN6MA). I am expecting delivery on Monday. WIll set it up and shoot a video and will revert to you with my views. Thanks again. I hope it all comes to an end with the new Sd card.
Question... I use a mavic air in Tucson for roof inspections. It is very bright here and when looking at flat roofs that have white coatings I do not get clear pictures of the roof condition. What would be the best settings for this? Thank you.
You would need some filters to block out some of the light, and possible with polarization to reduce reflection. There is not much you can do setting wise, other than underexposing the image using the “zebra stribes” in settings menu as a help
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Thank you
Awesome. Just got my Mavic and flew it 2 times but I am 3 feet from the ground and it wont land. I had to hit auto land it wouldn't let me? Any Ideas??
Thank You
Hold down the throttle all the way down that should do the job
Ok nice explain it was usefull but Smart arm leds at 9:40 what does it means and how to set that item?
As far as I recall, it turns the front LED's off when you record
Put the contrast at -3 and fix in post. You gain 1 to 2 stops of dynamic range this way. Sharpness and sat can be left at 0 on the Air.
Good tip, need to try that.. thanks
Hi, Why not go for 4k 30 fps? Why do you recommend use 24 fps?
Do you know any setting that might help jagged edges (Aliasing) on the Mavic Air
Eric Cohen you can soften it with -1 in digital sharpness under style settings
Thank You
Do the mavic pro filters fit
No, they do not
You have a blurry spot that repeats in the video... it shows up in the bushes..I have this as well accompanied by a vertical black shadow. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you.
Kameron Allen to me it seems like little break up in the connection between air and the remote. Or it could be compression of the screen recorder tool. I assume you don't refer to the black and white stripes
Drones and Electric Unicycles actually the black and white “zebra stripes” are showing you that you are over exposed in those areas. Tuff that you are doing a how to video yet your not giving some proper answers.
Before bashing me, you can start by reading what he is asking. I know what the zebra stripes are and they are not in the bushes and not blurry. There is a repeated spot in the bushes where the picture is pixilated.
Drones and Electric Unicycles your doing a lot more than me. Trying to inform others so bravo. I had that issue a few times the looks like a ghost on the screen. But it never shows up in the recording only on my live video feed.
Agree, this looks like a break up in the live feed. Recordings are clean, so not a big issue IMHO.
MY shutteroptions look different. I have 1/120 1/xx 1/yy... Is that maybe a new version?
that's the same 50 or 1/50
So I guessed, but thanks for your confirmation
Hi can you surgest setting for just the camera not the video ?
Bob Trotter are you serious?
Drones and Electric Unicycles yes I was. Lots of videos on the settings for filming but hard to fond one on settings for just the stills. I found one now so not to worry. B
ok, good.. have to admit I kinda misread your question. I will do something on stills at some point
yeah that would be good. really hard to find one. and you exsplain things well. so it wil be good for you to make one on that side of the camera. b
Here u go, I made this one: ruclips.net/video/wa4TgXCgmRQ/видео.html
See the moving blurs in your video footage, from left to right..
It runs through the shrubs, What is that?
My Mavic was actually recording that and I could see it in many different settings, light sources, filters, sun/no sun. In my garage..
The reason I ask is I had the same issue and sent mine in.. I’ll get the new one Tuesday.
At what timestamp?
From about 120 on (your backyard footage) you can see them pop up in the red shrubs and grass. Is that noise? It happens every 3-8 seconds.
I see it even when your not changing any settings.
I have watched hours of Mavic air footage, edited/unedited and I couldn’t find it in anyone else’s footage. Yours and mine seem to be the only two I’ve seen it in. But I’ve also never seen it in any of your other footage. Only this one.. I saw it in mine all the time. This has been driving me crazy for a month now. No one has an answer as to what it might be.
Could try anti-flickrer
No 100 fps? How are 120 fps going to conform on a PAL (Europe) project?
That could be an issue, need to look into that. Guess it would need to be 24fps timeline then.
well, we can use editing software to covert it in post productions
YoCho Productions hope! It's not the same...
Who really cares? PAL , NTSC etc are becoming irrelevant. People watch this stuff on TV and monitors that all go by divisions of 30 worldwide. Try doing 25 on youetube for example.
Why choosing 25 fps when you can use 60 fps? Am I thinking in a wrong way there? More frames are more details isn‘t?
Yes, but not a flowing an fluent as 25fps. I only use 60 if I want to slow it down, otherwise waste of space IMHO.
Drones and Electric Unicycles Thank you, appreciate your clarification on this 👏🏻
Your auto exposure was over exposing because your exposure compensation was turned up to 1.7
You cant use 4k because your card is to slow? :s Mavic Air writes at 12,5 MB/sec ... 1000Mbs is not 100MB/s ...
Hi there my friend. I am also in Europe, the Netherlands. Why is 25fps preferable to 24fps? I am very curious about that. I have a Mavic Air and am a novice pilot. here some images that I have made so far. greetings and stay healthy !!! RUclips.com/wormerthings
