    Tested (.1) settings and it seemed more controlled, I liked it and will probably keep the settings for future flights. This is a factory refurbished mavic air but it seems like brand new and I couldn’t be happier with the savings. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend buying factory refurbished gear from dji mavic, you know you’re going to get a good product at a great price!

    Have you played around with expo or yaw endpoints? what settings worked out for you?

    • @TheAndyroo770
      @TheAndyroo770 6 лет назад +2

      Nicely explained. I had not touched these settings as they were intimidating, your explanation has clarified things for me. I have found the craft a bit jerky with the default settings unless I'm super delicate. I will try your settings on my next outing, many thanks for the explainer! P.S; I've not checked out your channel much yet but have you tried filming from an electric unicycle with a DSLR on a gimbal to get smooth tracking shots without the usual up and down bobbing due to a person's gait? Is it impractical to hold a gimbal and steer an electric unicycle? Do they work on grass? Can they handle steep inclines? Sorry for all the questions, have a subscriber!

    • @TECHDRONEMEDIA
      @TECHDRONEMEDIA  6 лет назад +1

      Happy it helped and to have you onboard. I have tried the OSMO mobile on the Unicycle, and that worked out nicely. You steer with your legs, so hands are free to operate the gimbal. Yes, they can handle both inclines and offroad and they are pretty powerful.

    • @TheAndyroo770
      @TheAndyroo770 6 лет назад +1

      Drones and Electric Unicycles Sweet, sounds like a cheap(ish) way to get some nice stabilised footage from the ground. It's a shame all these types of transport are not legal in the UK unless you're on private land :(

    Changed these settings last week and it made a big difference. While I know we have a cinematic mode and tripod mode, it would be great to have an onscreen sensitivity slider which changes pitch, roll, and yaw all in one quick, easy setting. This would enable us to change settings on the fly, so to speak, depending on our filming needs.
    Keep up the great vids!

    • @videoscrapheap
      @videoscrapheap 6 лет назад +2

      Maybe we should ask for a software update so we could use the Fn button to switch between two profiles. You could have one with one set of Exp settings and the other with different settings. I could see having one with more aggressive settings to get to and from the home position then softer settings when you're ready to film. The Fn button would just toggle between the two profiles. That would be another option for those who may not be comfortable with Sport mode.
