Tia Was Still Sleeping At 2AM. Both Of You Made It To The Top Before Sunrise Congrats. I Give That Sunrise 6 Out Of 10. Dog Was Hungry. The Amazing Mountain Views Worth The Hike. Bloopers Recap. Outstanding All Around
Hi Tia & Cheveyo. I hope you are going great and thanks for this video. Wow the scenery at the volcano is great. I think it was definitely worth the effort waking up at 2am to see the sunrise and the hike around the caldera of the volcano would have been fantastic. I have watched so many of your videos and I have enjoyed every one. Take care Pete, Adelaide South Australia.
Did the Gunung Batur climb a few years ago and loved it but ruined my shoes on the way down (the sole totally detached from the rest of the shoe). Did you see Gunung Rinjani on Lombok? Amazing to be able to see another volcano on a totally different island. Gunung Agung is my next challenge - much more difficult than Batur. BTW, I wouldn't encourage people to try/but luwak coffee. The civets (the animals used to produce luwak coffee) are kept in confined cages and force fed coffee beans.
The hike down is definitely a little more treacherous because of all the loose sand 😅 That particular plantation claimed that they did not cage the luwaks, but it's always difficult to tell who is being honest in such situations.
Yeah! Cat-poop-chino, lol! It certainly some of the best coffee I’ve tasted, if not the best, at least to my taste. It’s smooth and not bitter. We are going to have to do the early morning hike to watch the sunset, didn’t get to do that when we were there. Great video guys.
The completely acidic-free flavor was really interesting. Good coffee, especially by itself because you don't need to add anything to cut the acidity. Too expensive for us to drink it regularly though (understandably of course)
ohw man that better be an awesome sunride to loose 6 hours sleep over ...... seems like it was nice , not my kind of thing though (prolly too mush of a city slicker) btw i learned a neat trick to find out if an egg is raw : try to spin it on a table / smooth surface , it it spins fast its cooked if it spins slow its raw (something to do with the thick liquid inside ) some can even feel it when shaking an egg with a boiled egg as refference hmm the cofeeplantation is nice , id be interested to visit that
@@OnePackWanderers could be they took the raw eggs with them to cook them in those steamholes , i seen that once on tv , made them smell a bit like sulfur though
@@marypaola9659 we also climbed in August 2023, it definitely gets cold up there especially when waiting for the sunrise. Anyone else thinking about it, I recommend leggings and closed shoes (be prepared to empty out all the volcanic ash and rocks from your shoe) !
This is very true 😂 It was a bit of a mental trip to drink it right after hearing about how it's prepared. It is heated many, many times is what we told ourselves 😂
We have not visited Hidden Canyon yet! Looking at pictures on Google, it's beautiful! This definitely seems like something we'd be interested in. Thank you!
Oh wow! What an adventure! Thx for another wonderful vlog! Hope you managed to catch up to some sleep 😴 after. Take care of each other and safe travels 😀.
