Tourism Australia should contract you guys to promote Oz tourism. You guys are just a joy to watch!
So agree- you ‘get’ Tasmania. The best clouds, the smell of the bush & sounds of the birds, on & on. Yes I wish the Tourist Bureau would give you a role in promoting gentle tourism - maybe electric car travel though.
They were black cockatoos guys
I grew up in Penguin. To hear you say "I think I just found my new favourite town". Biggest smile on my face!! Looking forward to you returning to Tassie another time.
Wow 😮 you were lucky! I would love to visit sometime! I Live up Nth in Ballina …….The Big Prawn 🦐 🤣 I have Never visited Tasmania 😊
I might have to sneak in a sneaky trip as it’s my 50th Birthday in September, plus starting a new job. So I could possibly fly down next year when I get holiday leave 👏😃🤩🥰 Thank You as always ONE PACK! See you somewhere again real soon. But Australia 🇦🇺 will miss you both, until next time…….. we Love You 🥰 😊
THE GREAT TASMANIAN CONSPIRACY (Tasmania being closed for the off-season) is a plot to draw you back to Australia and Tasmania again. Aussies, we're an addictive people and hearing you speak of another return trip to Australia filled me with joy, thankyou for sharing your travels.
***EDIT*** THERE IS A SCAM RUNNING IN THE REPLIES TO THIS COMMENT, IT IS NOT FROM ONE PACK WANDERERS, DON'T CLICK ON IT❗
Not really - the place is pact out during the season. Eco tourism at its finest.
20:09 21:10 magical indeed. Looks like something comes out from fairy tale.
@@k.vn.k Been here since November, 1991. The place really changed in the 1990s, for the better IMHO.
@@millertas that's really good to hear, my wife and I are planning a trip to Tasmania, mainly to try to see Aurora Australis and due to the night hours being more timely in the cold months it's an even money bet that it's likely to be the dates of our trip
Ken Oath mate.
You are such nice people. Thanks for coming here and thanks for your videos.
"I was reading it used to be a volcano ... and now it's Nut" My kind of humour. Thanks Tia. I had a good chuckle at that.
I live in Tasmania. Thank you for showing it in such a positive way. It would have been very easy to be negative about things being closed, and the weather being unpredictably wintery. You are a lovely couple. See you in summer, hopefully.
Again I did not want this video to end for the stunning picturesque vistas so respectfully and beautifully filmed and edited and for your entertaining banter. You left me wanting more!
Totally agree with you!
The nicest couple on the planet visiting and vlogging (arguably one of) the most beautiful part of the planet, doesn’t get better than this! Stunning is an understatement here.
I detected some trouble in paradise.
Thanks for spending time in our wonderful country and showing the world what a grand pace it is. You definitely need to return to Tassie in the warmer season. Wonderful to see your partnership with Mazda come to an "ad" for them... they couldn't have more wonderful "spokespersons" for their cars. Looking forward to your next adventures. Cheers from Melbourne.
well done
You guys need to apply for Australian citizenship. We need your positive energy.
Tia does say "I cannot wait to move here" at 28:02
SHE SO DID lol
Tia’s fascination with big things is absolutely hilarious.
Love it.
To be fair though, that penguin was large, at best - not really a "big thing". :P
Absolutely and i knew she had a Big surprise for when she looked and nodded at the camera 😂
@@seanwilliams4087 Well, it was a fairy penguin, so it was pretty big really. If it had been a Big Emperor Penguin it would have been huge. 🐧🙂
I'm only slightly disappointed that they must have gone right past the best of the worst big things (in my opinion) that Australia has to offer: the big thumbs-up in Scottsdale. Seems appropriate for the social media era. Hopefully next time!
Your joys bring so much happiness..
Wombat poo is cubed to stop it rolling away , its to minimise alerting predators..
So Guys….. we now all have video proof that you said you will be back 😀, please don’t make us wait too long 😂. But in all seriousness, how incredibly diverse and vast is Australia, you’ve shown it so beautifully and seen so much of it, but there is still more amazingness for you to see eventually ❤️❤️. See you on the next one. Xx
A “party pie” is just a small, mini pie. You can also get “party sausage rolls”. Common finger food at parties. Also, delicious. A better pastry to meat ratio than a standard pie 😊
Scrolling through RUclips and saw my towns big Penguin on the screen. I don't think I have ever walked down the street past the Penguin without seeing people having their pic taken with him. A local lady does all the sewing for his outfits. She is very clever. Thanks for visiting.
I think that you have shown that Tasmania can be more enticing and beautiful in the winter off-season than the full on tourist season if one wants to appreaciate the scenery without the buzzing of the crowds of wandering tourists to distract from the beauty and magnificence of the natural landscape.
It's actualy really nice right now, near the end of the off-season. The (almost) spring blooms are making the landscape especially beautiful, but it still has that blissful solitude.
The red-brown water colour is caused by the Melaleuca trees also known as Tea Trees. The tannin colours the water the same colour as tea. It is very clean and natural and good to swim in because tea tree oil is a natural antiseptic and anti-fungus. Aborigines have been using it for thousands of years and I keep a bottle in my cabinet all the time. If you buy some make sure you buy the 100% pure local product and not the cheap imported stuff diluted with ethanol.
The tannins in those high country creeks comes from the button grass, but it gets even darker with the contribution from melaleuca trees when it reaches lower elevations.
The creek is brown because of a high level of tannin in it, the tannin comes from the plants around it, it’s quite common down here in Tassie.
They're even called Tea Trees for that reason.
Button grass
The King river looks like that. Water straight from the mountains.
Tannin style fish tanks are amazing! ❤
You're Gunnar regret not doing the Gordon River cruise. They take you up to the Macquarie Harbour break water(scary), then show you around the Sarah Island womens penal colony in the south of Macquarie harbour then up the Gordon River where at one stage you get off the boat to walk through Tasmania's most ancient rain forest for around an hour. However, the Gordon River is not so pretty in overcast weather 😮
"Hobart sucked you in!"
Deja vu for me 😊. Arrived here nearly 50 years ago and am still here. Understand that feeling.
Feeling teary eyed with your videos of Tassie. All the places I have visited over the years but now, due to ill health, can't anymore.
Thank you for the memories, literally.
Safe journeys for your future and really do hope that you are able to make it back in the summer sometime.
Thank you.🙏🥰
Yes I arrived in Sydney 50 years ago, spent a wonderful 2 week honeymoon in 1978 in Tasmania, never wanted to leave, back then in 78 you could buy a 5 acre block of land just out of town for $2000 au, how thing have changed, planning to do, 6 month trip in my motorhome over summer, there so much history down there. Did you know that Charles Dickens’s book “Oliver twist” the main character “Fagin” was a real person and he got caught and sent to Hobart, as punishment.
Tia, the parrots are actually Black Cockatoos, they make that particular eerie sound.
Had a group fly over our house the other day. You know the squawk well before you see them.
They sound so pre historic
Down on the farm we knew if there was bad weathers coming. The Cockatoos would come down from the mountain and hang around our valley.
The currawongs (what you thought was a raven) are very intelligent, they have learnt how to open zips on backpacks.
curraongs are not ravens even though they do look a bit similar.
@@ianmontgomery7534I know, I was just using what they thought it was to give reference to what bird my comment is about, but I’ll I’ve changed it to be (hopefully) more clear.
That's So Not Raven. Actually, I didn't realise there was a black currawong, since I'm only familiar with the black/white ones around Sydney, which are apparently called pied currawongs.
@@Divadosaurus the bird kingdom is so diverse it is a wonder anyone can keep up with them. There is also a grey Currawong as well as pied and black.
The "Wall in the Wilderness" is spectacularly beautiful and carved from panels of Huon pine. You're just going to have to come back
I visited Queenstown in 1970s, and those hills were ABSOLUTELY bare of vegetation, almost over to Germantown. You are right! They burnt the copper ore (copper pyrite, I think), and the resultant SO2 and high rainfall did the rest. They are still mining in the area, but copper extraction no longer results in SO2 being released. Rehabilitation takes a long time, because no plants means high erosion means no soil means no plants.
"Gormanston", perhaps?
It was like being on another planet. I was there in 1972 on my honeymoon.
Yeah, I visited a couple of times in the ‘80’s and Queenstown was far more bare than it is now!
Australia just looks better when viewed through your eyes guys 💓
fr
I’m moving to Hobart next year once my house is built and it’s lovely reacquainting myself with state through you after being absent for 40 years (I left when I was 24) 👍🏻
Dosent get much better than you two. Seem like the perfect couple and great to watch.
Loved this video! I must compliment you on your fabulous editing, as well as all the different angles/ drone footage you include. It is seamless, and you pick perfect music to accompany it. Then there's the bonus of the bloopers reel to enjoy! As a recent subscriber, I'm going back over the previous videos just for the sheer enjoyment of watching you two interact.
Mazda; sponsor a Big Things tour. Just tell Chevayo you want him to test the fuel efficiency of some vehicles.
You two live a truly blessed Life!
To have each other, seeing all these amazing places,
doing work which you enjoy and enriching so many lives.
I pray for you that it continues, for a very long time! 😃
So impressed that Cheveyo didn’t make a bigger deal out of the fact that Tia has now also brought her lawbreaking ways to Tassie. So supportive! ❤
Smooth criminal.
Yeah she got a ticket. She's a ne'redowell.
Those vistas filled me with the jealous rage of a thousand suns. I absolutely envy you two and appreciate what you do.
Lots of love from the biggest fan of The Big Potato, by far our best big thing.
We'll miss you.
As a Tasmanian. Thank you for visiting. Hope you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for sharing your experience with so many people on RUclips.
Also, thank you for talking about port Arthur in your previous video. It's so important to remember everything that happened there including 1996... Too many people here avoid the topic, but it's a very important part of our history. ❤
Love how you now say "servo"👍
Just need him to get to 'Footy', 'Tracky dacks' and 'Sunnies' etc.
I'm so glad you guys are loving ,Tassie ,it has so much to offer.
You've captured it beautifully ❤
Oh I love leather wood honey ,I know not everyone likes it ,because it's strong .
The best honey 😊
The positivity that you two exude is infectious.
Wow! Another brilliant episode. I think many Australians are living vicariously through you guys.
A mainland Aussie here, Cradle Mtn Lodge one of my best memories, enjoyed it so much the first time we went back, and both my sons have vivid memories of seeing the animals coming to pay a visit along the boardwalk. Tassie is like stepping back in time. Considered OUR small little island state, but it’s bigger than some countries. So much to see and do, pleased you appreciated it, even in the OFF season 🙃 enjoyed your videos showcasing Tassie. Gives you a reason to return in the summer. To anyone thinking of visiting 🇦🇺 you MUST INCLUDE Tasmania, in your travels, do your research, it’s absolutely magical especially the Gordon Franklin, Macquarie Harbour, Strahan, Queenstown, the magnificent forests of the Tarkine and small villages along the top north west.
21:03 a decade ago I was on a very small tour group and we sat on the mountains opposite to where you are, above Dove Lake. Exhausting but very beautiful.
Your video is such a joy. You guys are so cute. I grew up in Devonport (and now live in the ACT) and everywhere you went is familiar to me. There is so much in Tassie that I absolutely love.
Dear, Wonders. Thanks so much for another joyful tour. Great time lapse shots. Please don't leave. (it sounded like you might be wrapping it up at the end there) I could watch your shows forever. You even inspired me to get out and walk around more where I live. Love from the Mornington Peninsula.
Tassie! As a Melbournian, I forgot how exquisitely beautiful it is! Thanks Tia & Chev for reminding me.
The great thing about Australia is you can go somewhere and feel like the only person within a 1,000 miles radius. Bliss!
A whole week in Hobart....wow. The island will suck you in. Tia should frame all her Aussie tickets...mementos.
The Tassie roads were made for driving. I drive a stick and every few years we take the ferry so we can tootle around bend after bend.
Bitter sweet your Aussie sojourn ends, but, there's a world out there...'til the next one...safe travels.
What's not to love about Tassie, so glad you appreciated the beauty, fresh air and magnificent scenery, it is a natural wonder. So enjoyed watching your content. Hope to see you back in Oz soon 🤗
The 'red' water is tannin that has coloured the ground water from seeping through thousands of years of undergrowth. It's tasteless and harmless, it's the same thing that colours a cup of tea.
Thank you for the explanation 😊
You guys have been a part of my life via your travels for a very long time now. I talked about how well you describe places and how you see the beauty in everything. I have now got my husband in to you and he asked all the time do they have another episode yet. lol. It’s been more than 3 weeks and we are wondering if everyone is ok. Miss seeing your blog. Thanks again for all the effort you both go to to show the real deal in your travels.
Summer in the south of Oz is the dry season so your encore should not be flooded. Oh, and I’m with you Tia on leatherwood honey.
The vibrant hues & tones of colour in your scenic panoramas are truly stunning. As is the tranquility & serenity that personifies Tasmania. ❤
Straight out from those sand dunes is our west coast wave rider monitoring bouy. Yesterday it recorded an 18m (59 foot) wave in the storms we are having. The Spirit of TAS ferry has been cancelled today. 25,000 homes are without power on the back of 172kph wind on the mountain in Hobart and immense flooding state wide.
It was lovely to see you two having such a great time around Tasmania, and the rest of Australia. I look forward to your next country, and eventually back here 👩❤👨 I couldn't help but smile widely at your reactions to the Big Penguin :)
Spent eight years living in NW Tasmania, built a house on a beautiful 10 acre piece of land. Went back recently and visited most of the places you featured. I live in Noosa, SE Qld now. Watching from Da Nang, Vietnam. Got here this morning on the night bus from Saigon. I'm 61 now. Been travelling the world since the age of 19. The bug's never left me. Absolutely loving your travel vlogs.
An interesting fact I heard a few days ago. Geologists have analysed the minerals in rocks from North-west Tasmania and have compared them to rocks from all over the world. The closest match they could make was with rocks from the Grand Canyon. Love your videos, and I'll be sure to follow them in the future. Cheers, Glenn
Wow! This video made me instantly want to book a long holiday in Tassie! It's the only state/territory I haven't visited yet - also one of the furthest away from home in Perth. Still, now I have some must-see places to start my Tasmania list. Thanks, Tia and Cheveyo!!
Heading from Western Australia to Tasmania in October for the first time - married nearly 42 years and we've always said we wanted to go to Tasmania and now we're finally doing it, before my husband's dementia deteriorates too much for him to fly and also enjoy being there. He may not remember much of it when we get back but he'll enjoy in it, in the moments while he's there, and I'll have the memories to remind him when we get back home. Seeing your videos has made me really look forward to the trip, despite the fact that I"m going to have to do all the driving. I've already booked the cruise for us at Stahan, fingers crossed the weather will be good on the day. Thanks again for the lovely videos.
I hope you both have a wonderful time in Tasmania and you will have many memories to look back on……. Safe Travels, God bless ❤
@@lucyhattemore4641 Thank you.
I am sure you will have a lovely time. Don't hold back on trying all the yummy foods!
I'm so happy to hear you are returning to Aussie oh and I just saw your Mazda ad.👍👍👍😂😂😂 Tia's penguin walk, love it.
You 2 guys, know more about Oz, than most Australians, well done.🙌🦘🐨
28:01 - "I cannot wait to move here." - Is there something we don't know yet? 🤔
Yeah I caught that too
Please don't!
@@LD-wk9pg aww you must want them in your neck of the woods. Don't blame you.
Given the title of the video and that comment I am thinking the same thing too.
Yep, I caught it and was thinking that was the 'choice' they would announce at the end. I was sooo excited. But was left hanging. :(
I think being Tasmanians would suit them.
Please make the move guys!
Tasmania looks like such a peaceful escape, especially during the off-season! That Cradle Mountain view is absolutely stunning. What an incredible place to end the trip!
Thanks for the focus on wombats! Some Aussie friends nicknamed me Wombat my first time in the country and so it’s been my favorite animal ever since. A friend even got to hold one at one of the wildlife parks near Sydney. Nice job on the waterfall timelapses and these videos continue to be some of the best parts of my week!
Nickname Wombat means someone who "eats roots and leaves"
Nice nickname, but as a double entendre, if meant, actually, is an insult. Usually aimed at an unconscionable bloke!
@@daviddean8198 the double entendres was jokingly intentional and all in good fun. 🙂
@@IanNoble-ut9wv another meaning is waste of money brains and talent
Realised I was just sitting here with a big dopey grin on my face while watching you guys. Thankyou x
A BIG thankyou for undertaking such a massive trip traversing the huge Australian continent on two occasions, and in the process capturing the most amazing locations and jaw dropping footage ever. Ive loved your Australian series! Well done and best wishes on your next journey 🙏
the remoteness, ruggedness and like you say eeriness makes the west coast of tassie so awesome. truly my favorite place in the world
30 August 2024. After a mild winter, Tasmania is encountering snow blizzards in high regions and widespread power outages. Lucky, you got out in time.
I hope from this chapter onwards you will continue to use the word servo no matter where you are in the world!
18:56 Tasmania has rivers full of tannin, making the water the colour of tea or rust. This comes from mountain streams that flow through alpine heathlands that are home to button-grass tussocks.
Feb is hot and all the produce here is ready to go.
I love the colours of the bedrock around Queenstown. it's amazing to see the changes as you come around each bend.
Usually if the water in a steam or river is red, it is tannin in the water.
Button Grass stains the water red in Strawun.
@@SpunkmeyerSnr Button grass is a perennial grass species which forms a clump or tussock. The round flowerheads, which give the species its name, arise out of the tussock, on culms which are up to a metre (3 ft) high.
Habitat:
Alpine meadows.
Notes:
The exceptionally high tannin of these grasses color the surrounding streams and rivers brown.
Should have spent the money on the cruise. it was just the most amazing cruise. So quiet, so peaceful. So still. So beautiful. My fav experience and we had to spend top dollar to do it. Would definitely do it again.
Tasmania is awesome & Hobart is a great little city, I've never understood why people in Melbourne & Sydney run with all the Hobart, Adelaide, Perth etc. jokes these places are so easy to get around & the lifestyle, nature, beaches etc. are top shelf.
Great video again! Tassie is awesome
It was me who said hello to you both in Melbourne cbd today, couldn’t believe I saw you both outside of my work walking with a coffee 🥹😅 It’s like my tv came to life seeing you both!!
Lovely couple and great Channel 🤍
Absolutely love the time lapse photography in this..especially the waterfall...also love to hear you guys will be back again. Tia, the move with the seat warmers is something I am always doing and my husband hates it! Gotta love those toosh warmers. lol
Beautiful wonders of the tempered rainforest.Waterfall gosh! Nice special effects of the falls and Cradle Mountain what can I say but stunning!!🤩
Wow! Great shots of Cradle Mountain. You got lucky with the weather too, spring seems to have come early this year. The water is red/brown due to the high levels of tannins leached from the plants and fallen leaves. Sort of like tea. I was wondering if you would find a Big Thing in Tassie, and the Penguin did not disappoint. Definitely dapper. 😊
Now I'm jealous.. I've seen a lot of Australia, but I've never been to Tasmania... I must try to get there soon.
The black bird staring Tia down looked like a Black Currawong. They have the yellow eyes.
The "eerie" sound from the birds earlier sonded like black cockatoos.
Another ripper episode guys!👍❤️
✌️
Lol, great to watch another of your presentations. Had to chuckle at the Strahan visitor centre being closed, we were in Hoi an with our friend that runs that centre, her offsider must have been sick for the centre to be closed.
You'll go back one day for sure, it's a beautiful place in the summer. The Wall is definitely worth a visit.
Another great video , a pity the weather didn’t hold for you, still , you got some truly wonderful footage .
As a main lander that’s now retired, you two helped put Tassie on my bucket list 😊thank you !.
Years ago I used to go camping with my 4wd and do a bit of gold panning in Ler der der gorge ( Blackwood/bachus marsh way) , that was decades ago , the area is very rugged and the army at one stage used to train there.
It was a really cool spot for bush walking or scrub bashing or camping, I liked the kookaburras there , very cool bird.
Sadly , the almost unlimited 4wd tracks I believe have been closed off so I have been told.
So many good places to visit … just too many 😢, Lake Eildon is another cool place , a man made lack that has more water in it than Sydney harbour ( allegedly 😊) ,
This bloody place is too dam big 😊 .
Looking forward to your next video .
Stay safe !
I've been closely following your Australian series and I must say Tasmania is Australia's most pretty state. Love it! 😍
What beautiful weather for Cradle Mountain.
Been there three times, seen the mountain once. Knee deep snow around Kitchen Hut in Nov 2019 to start a walk of the Overland track: cold, wet, and absolutely worth it.
So sad to see the end of your Aus Odyssey but looking forward to your next adventure. Hope you’ll get back one day to do more inland Australia as there is so much to see and do, as every where. You are a delight to watch and I hope Mazda give you access to some more vehicles for travel around the world. Thanks for sharing this visit to Tassie with us all ❤
Glad you enjoyed Tassie and my wife's home town the beautiful Penguin.
You're in my favourite part of the world. Love Tasmania.
You can be honorary Australians. I just love you guys, so entertaining. Cracked up at Tia eating an oyster on Bruny.
Thank goodness you escaped the cunning of those clever mountain currawongs at Cradle Mountain NP. They can open zips you know! Leave a bag lying around and they'll steal your food from inside the bag! Gonski. So glad that you enjoyed your trip so much. This country is incredible and Tasmania such a beautiful jewel in it's crown.
Gonski? I guess they are rather well educated for birds.
'He looks so intelligent.' Currawong (thinking): 'they have no padlock on their pack.'
Back in 1987 I did “Industrial Chemistry” at UTAS, this oncluded visiting most industrial sires around Tasmania, Tioxide, Mole Creel Line Kiln..etc. Anyway, one lunch time we happened to end up in the car park at Mt. field Nationsl Park where we stopped for lunch. We wewre almost immediately mobed by wallabies, with a tught ring of wallabies around each person making it hard to move.
My chemistry lecturer had goy out a sandwich and was moving it up to his mouth to bite it…a Currawong, obviously watching ftom behind, swooped over his right shoulder and snatched the sabdwich so quickley Smithy just took a bit of fresh air
You both picked the perfect weather window for your Tassie trip. Before you arrived the weather was lousy and after you left the weather has become horrendous. Plenty of snow at Cradle Mountain and Mt Wellington! And, tons of rain and WIND.😊
Great video guys! Watching you at Cradle Mountain makes me want to book a trip to Tassie. As someone else said, the Tasmanian Tourist Board should get you to do an ad for Tassie. 😀
I hope your Aussie adventure continues. Still so much to see & lots of hidden gems. Seeing you travel Tassie makes me miss it so much. My husband and I eloped there - we’re from Brissy. It’s truly special, an introverts dream. That eerie peaceful, foggy, misty, mystical feeling I love. Which is probably why I absolutely love Tasmania, even though I’ve travelled to many other countries before. Tassie has my heart.
Thank you for the trip, so glad you loved the place, safe trip 💞❤️
This episode is absolutely amazing! Those forests with the ferns and moss are so magical! Just my place to be. Thank you both for taking us there and sharing this with us. I hope you return and really take the time to delve into Tasmanian nature!
Tassie is just so beautiful, thanks so much for sharing
Loved your tour of Tassie. Do go back in summer and get some cherries from the farms. So very very happy, that you said you would be back. Your videos are so very beautiful, showing off our gorgeous country. Safe travels.
Thank you for visiting our beautiful country, I can’t wait to see what your new adventures are
We need a "Tia for scale" postcard series, kids book ❤
You've done a beautiful job capturing images and sounds of our little Island.
"We're here in the dead of winter and its not that cold... Tasmania doesn't get that cold."
Oh my sweet summer child. Where you were standing only a year earlier was under snow.
The stream is red in colour because the water picks up the tannins from the button grass and tea trees on the way into the catchments. By the time it gets to the lakes its amost black.
When I was growing up on the north west coast in the 1970's Queenstown was an embarrassment so for you to say positive comments about its austerity was mind blowing. Thanks for seeing the silver lining.
That's me too, Tia, turning the car seat heaters on both sides 😅! This video really makes me want to head back to Tassie again very soon. ❤
🙏 Thank you for sharing our beautiful country with the world. I believe you should be granted honorary Australianship 🇦🇺🦘🐨🪰👏 See you at your next country adventure, safe travels ✈️🧳
Love the scenery as always , thank you guys for all the time ,love and beauty you gift others! Love you son
24 years ago I met a Tassie girl, and she "showed" me the Russel Falls, nice memories, thanks for leaving it in your vid eventhough you you dont like waterfalls. Wouldnt mind li ving in Tassie
Glad you enjoyed our little corner of the universe.
Can’t wait to see you guys back here in the future.
My husband and I honeymooned in Tassie. Loved it. So glad you stopped in Penguin.
You definitely need to come back to Queensland and do the outback as well as the coast.
If you are going to splurge anywhere, Cradle Mountain is the place.
Yayyy a new video!! Wow I can't get over the back to back stunning sceneries😍 Tasmania you are becoming a bucket list destination for me! Can't wait to see where you guys end up next🫶🏻
So glad you had good weather for Cradle. I've been there 4(?) times and its always magical. One time we were hiking back from the first hut and it was pouring rain and the poor people who were on a walking tour had their guide pointing out where the mountain and lake were and you couldn't see a thing. Oh and those Currawongs are very intelligent. They have learnt how to unzip packs so you have to be careful where you leave them.
