I sold my obs a few yrs ago and I had to get me another one and I did, I gotta tear it all down from inside and out cause the guy swapped the dash out and swapped for an ls engine the wiring does not match with the outside 😒...I’m keeping the original dash but your build is top notch I love to do that but I’m really excited to get mine going so I’m just gonna keep it all original but I am using that push start😂

I recommend you talk to piclusters he has his own RUclips channel so you see his work but he can make you a custom digital clusters plug and play kinda stuff for your dash and just put the tablet on your radio

I use ABS pipe glue to repair and fab up plastic parts and panels. A lot of the plastic panels say Made of ABS right on them. I think the black glue holds better, so I glue on the back side or where it won't be seen. If the plastic is shiny I break the glaze sand paper before gluing, it seams to hold better. To repair cracks in plastic, I glue a strip of on the back side of the crack. You can get all different size and thickness of textured ABS sheets on Ebay and amazon.
@@MattyXBuilds Welcome, I get the small cans of ABS glue at the HD. Once you pop the factory seal it only last a month or so. I just a made a 10" tablet mount for my 93 OBS out plastic and aluminum.

Just a heads up you can “jail break” a fire tablet. There is a walk through on RUclips with the links you’ll need to unlock it and download the google play store. I’ve been using mine for about a year with no issues.

Just do a speed density tune and eliminate the MAF.. Dont forget to add a air temp sensor (wire is in that plug u held up) sensor is 25036751 on amazon 20 bucks! Also another great upgrade is the "breadbox" SS manifold (trailblazer) for $140 on Amazon 12580420
Try using realdash app if you ever get an android tablet...they have some really nice dash gauge layouts...ininstalled an android stereo in my c6 vette and got the gauges working in that

keep in mind the heat, most tablets/phones overheat. so maybe make it easy to remove. so it doesnt sit all day in the cab heat.
