This is a beautiful rendition of this song, clearly played in swing style in 4/4 time. I don't agree with the decision to present it in 3/4 time. The notation does not accurately represent the beautiful work of the band and soloist, and would certainly create confusion for a young student trying to read the notation.
If you give this link to your son, make sure he only listens and plays along, and doesn't see the sheet music. The sheet music is written in a weird way, with 3 beats per bar instead of 4.

I'm looking for this sheet music with the accompaniment track. I had a hard time finding the music on your site, when I did I noticed it was for the sheet music only. Any suggestions to get both?
@@trumpet_guy Thanks. Can you share which you used in this video? My son would like to play this for a S&E clinic coming up and I like your version for this.
@@BLE751 bart howard, the original composer of this piece wrote it in 4, this arrangement is also played in 4, its much simpler for the composer and player to have it in 4 instead of 3
I still can't think which one I hat to do for my Jazz audition. Theres "What a wonderful world" and this one Edit: this one has high notes and the other one as low notes. I wanted to try more the high notes more
why is it written in 3/4 when the recording is so obviously 4/4??
That little trumpet is so cute. Idk why it's making me cry
THANKK U SO MUCH. finally a video where an actual trumpet is playing. it helps me understand way more

If you are looking for the backing track, you can usually find it just by typing in "Fly Me to the Moon Karoake" on RUclips

How can I get the sheet music I wanna play it
Bravo bravo magnifique 😇😇😇❤️❤️🙏🏻
Hehe the trumpet going across makes me laugh :))
Where is the sheet music for this? I can’t find it on your website
Please do this again, but correct
How sweet it is! 😊
Played in 4 but written in 3?
Cause a half note is a single note a eighth note counts as 1 as it's just two notes that count as half a beat
@@BLE751 or just make the time Signature 4/4 and skip the bs
@@arcandcardinal968 That would mess up the entire song have you never played or composed music?
@@arcandcardinal968 Eighth notes are there so you play it faster than quarter notes because in those parts need to be played faster not normal
