They sacrificed their entire childhood and youth for Babymetal. Honestly, I think it's absolutely understandable that at some point they need to take some time off, or that they start to think about things in general. I actually would have expected that already years ago after Yui's departure and Mikio's accident. Just try to put yourself in their shoes and imagine the whole thing from their perspective. Despite or rather because of the success, it is absolutely insane what they have carried on their young shoulders. And the sentence that she just wants to enjoy music in the future, I think speaks volumes. By the way, this is something I noticed in the WOWOW recording of their concert from January. Not just in the out-of-character moments, Su in particular seemed more light-hearted than in the past. Idk, maybe I'm just imagining it, or it's because she's all grown up now, but something feels different to me and it fits her statement. _____________________ 「 _Look inside the mirror of you. Nice comment, I can’t imagine the sacrifices they have made. You only live once, but I’m hoping to see them live again! Thanks for adding the words from Mayu, 🤘⭐️🙌
Maybe because Babymetal already reached that success. And right now, Su and Moa are continuing the group just because they still enjoy music. Now they feel more light-hearted about it, and I like that. It's cute how Moa said that if Su stays in BM, then so will she, lol.
I found out that Babymetal is performing at Aftershock this year. I'm curious what they have planned. I had no plans of going, but if Babymetal is going to be there, so will I.
Here is what Su-Metal said as to some of her reasoning. I actually stepped away from music for a while during our hiatus." "But I came back because I still genuinely felt that I love BABYMETAL and that I love music." "I feel like I’m in a new band right now, and my current mode is, “I want to purely enjoy the music." Along with my last post this gives some insight to what both Moa & Su-Metal were thinking over the last couple of years. What is pretty clear however given the circumstances. Is that both of them have really come into their own here. Album is a banger & among their best work to date. It moves in a direction i wasn't expecting. Yet makes for a more diverse and engaging experience. Seeing Su-Metal step away only to come back & give this kind of evaluated performance. Really speaks volumes of Suzuka as an artist and all around kick **** human being. Rock on ladies!! 🤘💕🦊
Actually SU and MOA talked about this in the Billboard interview and... Kerrang(may be wrong), and was quite explicit about closing the BABYMETAL experience. That would both explain SU behavior during their last BUDOKAN X show and the special Legend version of The ONE. For a while they actually parted their ways. So it wasn't 100% granted that they would have come back after all. Besides it was clear to them and everyone involved in this project that they couldn't keep going on with more of the same, indeed they've been working on this change for a while, as some of the songs in TOO dates back to pre COVID years. 🤘🏻🦊⚡

Its not that its not metal, they just added their vison to metal.
I don't think she fell out of love or wanted to quit. I think she wanted some Suzuka time and got it.

The new album is outstanding. I've had it on repeat since release.

They didn't. Every interview is different

Metal is not supposed to be mainstream and nice and cute eveybody
Babymetal got boring. Who would have thought?
Trolls will be trolls I guess lol.
Don't judge too quickly. There is something great prepared behind the scenes . . .
If you are bored that means you are boring
