It's okay to disagree, but the hate speech against other people in the comments is starting to get out of hand, specially against Yui fans. Generalizing is never okay.
From now on, any form of disrespect, insult or attack will be deleted from the comment section.

Thank you for your positive comments.
From early on, BABYMETAL had a goal of going at it for ten years.
In an interview, SU and MOA reflects on 2018 (when YUI left) they had a moment of weakness, but both strongly agreed to make it to the 10 year goal line.
BABYMETAL started 2010.10, so their goal was to have a 10 year event(or announcement) on 2020.10.10.
But the pandemic threw a monkey wrench into their plans, so they had the event spread over 10 live concerts in 2021, and on 2021.10.10 (exactly one year after their original plan) put out their RUclips video "The One - Stairway to Living Legend". It is most likely (though I have no confirmation on this) that the video was taken around the time of the 10 BABYMETAL concerts @ Budokan (stage settings are so similar)
So when we take the above into consideration, we can understand why they did not come up with a "replacement" for YUI's position for the last couple of years. Also I feel that the three stars that went flying into space in "Stairway to Living Legend" represented the original three, and the way they brought closure to the original BABYMETAL at their April concert makes sense.

the problem for yui's fans is that they refused to mourn her departure, now they are faced with the reality that babymetal must move on, even babymetal itself kept their hopes up by not replacing her for 5 years, it's hard but yui made the decision to leave😢

I can't speak for every Yui fan out there. But as an ultimate Yui fan myself, the reason why it's been so hard for me to let go is because for a whole 5 years, there hasn't been a single appearance nor proper health update on her. The only thing we had left from her were her BABYMETAL days and an indefinite "see you later". So inevitably, we can only come back to the old content she was in.
If we had known her hiding mode would take so long from the start, I think we would've managed to cope with it better. But now, we don't even know if she's ever gonna show any life signs again, which only makes it harder to assimilate. It's the lack of closure and our hopes being crushed that makes it painful (at least for me).

First of all...love your videos. They really show your passion for BABYMETAL. I'm an older guy who found my love of rock music at 18, in 1975, when I attended a concert in a small venue for a new band on the scene called KISS. To me, this is what Rock & Roll was supposed to be, loud, rebellious and way over the top. I fanboyed out big time until they released, "Rock and Rollover". After that they had member problems and they went out of favor with me. A year ago I discovered Babymetal, and that passion to Rock & Roll came flooding back! The way I see it. If Yui wanted back in to Babymetal, she would be back in Babymetal...PERIOD! These girls are no longer 14 and 16 year old girls. They've grown and matured into a new Babymetal, that is on a path to more success than they had when they were younger. Momoko has more than earned the spot to be part of that success. Dedication and hard work is what is needed to exceed, and she has proved she's up to that task. I REALLY look forward to what this new era in Babymetal is going to be.

Fantastic perspective. Wish more people would take into consideration the artist's feelings towards the entire situation. Surely Momoko knows there are diehard Yui fans out there and she isn't trying to be her replacement. Rather, be a new piece to the evolution of the group. She has earned her place and hope they have a successful journey forward!

I think babymetal was giving Yui a chance to return if she wanted to. After the budokan performances they went on haitus for a year, and that's when they started to think about how to go from there. They can't just go the rest of babymetal career rotating backing dancers in Yui's spot, because it soon become awkward with people wanting the avengers to be micced, and babymetal just works better as a trio, as that was the initial idea. In the hiatus they probably asked Yui if she wanted to return to babymetal, and we can conclude that yui did not want to come back, maybe because she enjoys life as a non celebrity, maybe her health issues are still stopping her, who knows. But, the reason Amuse didn't want to add someone new in straight away is because is would be an insult to the fans of babymetal, replacing yui when her departure is still a fresh wound, and eliminating her chance of returning once she got better. Sooner or later, a third member, weather Yui or not, would of had to be introduced as a permanent member, and babymetal just took the chance of this album to fo that, and to take a different path and see how it goes.
Momoko was probably the best candidate to take her position up, as she's familiar with the dance and lyrics, performed with babymetal the most out of the three avengers, and earned THE ONE'S respect, too the point where most were calling on amuse to mic her and make her a permanent member.

Yes, I fully agree with this. I'd also like to add that Su and Moa has been clear about the fact that they still talk to Yui. It seems likely that there's been an ongoing conversation about this the whole time. That she disappeared from the public eye doesn't mean she's not present in their life. People sometimes act like she's in a coma or went to outer space.

i lived in japan and worked in a little cafe my ex wife used to own for a few years, had babymetal just casually come in one day, and the funniest thing was, they spent the entire time talking about my height, for context im 7'7" and my ex wife (was still married at the time) was 4'7" it was so funny to hear them asking themselves things about being tall, then after about 5 minutes su asked me about my height and we had a 30 minute chat about it, they were shocked to find that i refuse to let anyone call me by my surname, i said "doesnt matter who you are, friends, family or some homeless guy in an alley, you call me big frank and thats that, wont let anyone say otherwise" i told them about my twin sister who is 6'6" about how everyone else from my family is no taller than 5'2" including my father, and after the chat, they paid, said thank you, posed for a polaroid photo with me and just went off with there manager and later that day they announced yui would be leaving, i still have that polaroid, its on my current workplaces wall

I know that maybe those things that Moa and Su said about Yui are completely against what is happening right now, but is possible that they didn’t have more options anymore. The sedition to continue as a duo sounds good in the Metal Galaxy era, but Kano and Riho left the Avengers to make their projects, so Momoko was the only girl who steels supporting Babymetal, so maybe announcing Babymetal and just one Avenger is a little bit weird, is like why Momoko is still calling Avenger if is just one? Is possible that makes it harder for Su and Moa still be like a duo. So probably that's the reason why they decided to call Momoko a new member. As you said, it passed more than 5 years and the only way to keep going is with that decision, because the dance is for 3 people.
So I think the things that Su and Moa said about Yui are totally genuine and they never were disrespectful to her, but after many years, became more and more difficult to keep that duo format.

    • @hachikuji_mayoi
      @hachikuji_mayoi Год назад +2

Also I don't think they planned to have a third member again when they went on as a duo, but after performing with momoko so much it was just a natural progression. Just look at any of their performances before the hiatus and they're all enjoying being together so much. I've always thought she was the most compatible of the avengers.

Always great to talk about things when people need it.
5:02 Yuimetal and Moametal were meant to be twins visually. So they continued with that theme, that's all it was.
Nobody in Babymetal is betraying Yui(metal), Babymetal for years tried the duo with a dancer and it just doesn't work as well, that they've done that for many years shows how much they respect Yui.
If they had immediately or shortly after replaced her, THAT would be disrespectful and betrayal. Babymetal just works better with
We don't know the whole story, but however we think about it: 10 years was specifically chosen, maybe even before Yuimetal left, to be the moment for a break and to rethink of what Babymetal should be. And it turns out to be a good time to close the Yuimetal chapter.
We can both love the tomato and the peach. That's totally fine. I personally think Yui is probably happy that it's a Sakura Gakuin member, her love for SG is immense.
My thinking is: she is probably more sad about Sakura Gakuin having been shut down than her leaving Babymetal, if that makes sense. And I hope she got a satisfying answer from other people inside of Amuse on why it needed to be.

as a relatively new fan i have spent the last few months immersed in BM music and studying their history. so i both fell in love with and lost yui in a very short space of time. i imagine it has been extremely hard for those who watched BM grow during the yui years, and invested so much of their lives in supporting those three talented young ladies who stole their hearts. after hearing all the rumors and speculation surrounding yui's departure i fall into the camp that she really didn't want to leave, but after her back injury from falling 8 feet off the stage at budokan, it became increasingly difficult for her to maintain the level of dance required for BM shows. also, when she left she was still a minor (in japan you are not considered and adult until age 20),so her parents may have had something to say about her continuing. if she was still under contract with amuse , and her back injury became even worse because they forced her to continue there could have been litigation leveled against the company. a lot of factors probably came into play, not just yui deciding she'd had enough. we may never know the whole story, but facts are facts, and momometal is an official member of BM. i don't think fans would rather they just packed it in,and faded into history. instead they're making new history, and a world tour is underway in hopes of healing all the broken hearts left behind from yui's departure. of course we all wish yui the best life possible moving on,and we still have all the wonderful videos and memories of her time with BM. that cannot be erased or taken from us. i am looking forward to seeing BM in october, and will be cheering at the top of my lungs after every song.

Of course I really miss our little tomato princess 🍅 Obviously her decision gave her fans a really hard time. But, it was HER decision and everyone should respect that. If people can't respect that, they're not real fans, they're just selfish. That's my opinion. We all can't even imagine how hard that must have been for Su and especially for Moa.
Wherever Yui is right now and whatever she's doing, I hope she's doing great and I absolutely support her following her own dreams.
My opinion about peach princess 🍑 Momo: No one deserves it more than her, to get her own mic and being called Momometal. As you said, she worked her ass off for years to get where she is now. And it can't be just me who notices, that since her announcement as Momometal, Su and Moa are a lot happier and more energetic on stage again. The other thing is, Su definitely needs some sunscreen on stage now, because of two always smiling sunshines by her side.
But on the other hand, poor Su has to deal with hengao, pranks and shenanigans from both sides now 😅

What a great, balanced and thoughtful dissection of current Babymetal manifestation. I have only been a fan since "finding" them in 2018, and honestly...I have not stopped being amazed by them. At the time, I had no idea of all the turmoil that had overtaken them, but over time (and much video watching) I do understand. As you noted, I will truly miss Yui....those "early" days cannot be replaced, but things change and the project will continue as long as Su and Moa want it to (I hope). I have no issue with a third active member being added, shit...it took almost 5 years! You know there had to be plenty of time for Yui to solidify here decision, and once that was understood (plus Covid getting in the way), the process was moved forward. Having an Avenger on stage was mainly to create the "triad" feature of Babymetal (in my opinion), so it was logical to "replace" Yui, at some point. I just hope they are ALL happy and that we, as fans, are able to enjoy the wonderful experience that Babymetal is. Thank you again for the video, very well done. Kitsune up!

Great analysis! I agree with your basic conclusion. Also, I believe the way they handled the transformation was very clever.
At the April 2nd live concert in Yokohama, they put the legendary BABYMETAL to rest, and brought closure.
They used many shots of YUI in their presentation of this legend, showing respect and love.
After that, as a reincarnation, they gave birth to a new BABYMETAL, with new members = SU, MOA, MOMO. I feel they tried as hard as they could not to make it seem like YUI was being replaced.

Why do anything other than wish her the best with whatever she does in the future and keep enjoying the music?

Yui was in the Babymetal band for 7 years, she was a pillar of Babymetal, with her choirs, dances and even songs that she sang together with Moa. Perhaps you met the band after Yui's departure and you would not understand the pain and sadness that her farewell from Babymetal causes her fans, since there were rumors that she would return to the band. We will always remember her with much love and affection, because she made us very happy while she was in the band

Sadly, there is none, fans have been left in the dark, which is really unfortunate, only time could heal.
The way I see it, Yui's unique legacy will be memorialized forever in fan's heart, eventually things will move along, give new BM and member a chance, may or may not like her, and that's ok. Mixed feelings with the official announcement of the band. However, for the choreographies and dances that characterize the band, 3 are always necessary. I would have wanted the duo to continue because the gap left by Yui is huge, the project started with her and the replacement of an official member always hurts.
On the other hand, I don't understand the way the company handles the band. Communication is nil. The official networks of the band (which are managed by the company) do not give much information and the members are not allowed to have them either so the fans know absolutely nothing. Amuse keep us as just filthy consumers.
About Yui always a question to the abyss. The reason why she left the band was never really stated, supposedly she had a deadly disease, what disease? In other posts, I read that it was a disease inherited from the family or that she had to take care of her family. I read that another supposed reason was that she suffered from anorexia. However, signing with these companies makes them block your freedom to speak and interact with fans, even the interviews seem like a script...

I never saw Momoko as a replacement for Yui. If they needed simply a replacement they would do it in 2018/19, with anybody. But they didnt. It seems Momoko built some unique connection and chemistry with Su and Moa to consider her as a part of BABYMETAL, she is genuinely special for them. And it is not like she earned her place in BM, or she deserves it for her hard work. No, it was not an audition, she was not earning her spot with years of work, waiting to finaly recognise her - I think thats unfair for both Momoko and Yui. I believe that if there was no Momoko or if someone else would be in her place, we wouldnt have a new member today, just another set of avengers or any other filler idea.
I think that their stance about Yui is still genuine. At that time there was just the void after Yui, they were still experiencing terrible loss. But throughout years, calmly, step by step, they build relationship with Momoko on the same level as with Yui. Which made them consider performing as a trio, respecting the past and the present relationship with Yui. The closest analogy to me is a mourning widow, who doesnt look for a replacement of her late husband and is willing to remain single forever, but when she meets someone who happen to make her happy, she consider building a new realtionship. I think thats healthy, mature and respectful way to approach such things. Love, remember and respect the past, but dont give up on your life when there is so many great things you can still experience in future.

I´m gonna give some insight, becouse I think Babymetal handle this in a perfect way and a few fans notice it. I became a Babymetal fan at the end of 2018 so I´ve never seen Yui in a concert, but I love her and her work in Babymetal and Sakura Gakuin.
First of all the avenger´s era was not an audition to replace Yui, Su and Moa had a long time of confusion about their future and they endure tons of pain in their loses, in that time the feeling was they lost someone irreplaceable, then pandemic it and they could disband but they keep going, and they grew up even stronger in the comeback, but something was missing, Momoko clear Su and Moa minds and now they are a new Babymetal, stronger than ever. This is something Su and Moa told in an interview for the Hedoban magazine volume 40, I encoradge you and all Babymetal fans to read it, this interviews are gold and the most intimate about them and the band I never read.
I´m gonna transcrive some Moa and Su words that are really important to understand the magnitude of this.
--Interviewer: It does appear that BABYMETAL overall has become “young and fresh” again, just as MOAMETAL said?
--SU-METAL: Well, I don’t think it’s due to youth per se… it’s more that as MOMOMETAL described earlier, “Black” became “Clear”, and those are my thoughts too. We’d been a duo for a long time, but during the live shows, we had been dancing as a three-person group together with the Avengers, so there was a lot of confusion and “what the heck is going on?” during that time, and various opinions about what we were doing.
    -Interviewer: It was somewhat bewildering.
--SU-METAL: Yes. Everyone was confused, and speculation was going wild in all directions. How should I put it… this state of chaos had persisted for about 5 years. But after we finally made the decision to move forward as a new three-person group with the addition of MOMOMETAL, we found a new sense of determination; the determination to say loud and clear that, “This is BABYMETAL moving forward, and if you’re onboard with it, please support us!”
Also, as we went through the hiatus/seal, we asked ourselves what it was we really wanted to do. A certain level of confidence was derived from the fact that we’d been doing it for 10 years already. And this confidence in our past experience led to the confidence that we could do it as a new trio as well. So that’s why I feel very refreshed. Of course, there may be the impression that MOMOMETAL is an addition to BABYMETAL, but my feeling is more that we have to start over and rethink what BABYMETAL is from scratch in our heads. It is because of this feeling that I felt we’d gone from “Black” to “Clear”, like a light was illuminating everything.
--MOAMETAL: I feel the same. We were all brightened by a new energetic element entering BABYMETAL. When it was just the two of us, I would sometimes overthink things. More than anything else, MOMOMETAL brightens the room. There were times before when I’d worry about rather pointless things, but with MOMOMETAL’s cheerfulness, such things are blown away. So on Day 2 of Pia Arena MM, it wasn’t so much that MOMOMETAL had joined us, but rather that we were “born anew” and had become a “new band”; we felt like "new artists" again. It renewed our spirit.
This I think is a confirmation of Babymetal being fine again and makes me so glad and relieved.
Also they told they chose the Pia Arena MM and the 1st April becouse is Fox God day, forshadowing MOMOMETAL was the chosen one.
You can read the full interview here: stechen.blogspot.com/2023/11/2023hedoban40.html

The second thing I want to say is I don´t feel Babymetal is erasing Yui´s legacy, on the other hand, they did a ceremony to farewell her and the old child and teen Babymetal. They represented old Babymetal in Karate song, dressed in red as teenagers, then they bring Momoko to the spot and play a video including Yui, they thank her for all but they have to move along and I think with Momoko they are unstoppable, maybe we can enjoy 10 more Babymetal years.
Finally I´m so glad becouse they are performing a lot of the old songs again like Babymetal Death and iine, and they are plannning to play others as Catch me if you can.

Just a couple of things. When musclemetal appeared in 2018, fans were still expecting Yui to return. When Amuse confirmed Yui was still a member, fans chilled out a bit. Fans were not looking forward to the Chosen Seven, since most would only accept the triangle formation. The Chosen Seven actually did five shows and fan response was not favorable. The shows that Saya performed with them in late 2018 was a return to the triangle formation and fans were thrilled. There actually were many people who wanted Saya to become the new member then.
You have to realize that the interviews with Su and Moa where they announced they were a duo was more to explain the Avengers, who hadn't appeared on stage with them yet. There were many people who thought the Avengers were competing for that open position and it may look like that in retrospect but I don't think so. My theory was that there were three Avengers because it was too much to ask from just one. Eventually, Momoko got enough experience to where she could handle all the shows herself. I guess we'll never know when they made the decision to make Momoko a permanent member. She did that audition during the sealed period and apparently, they weren't ready to lock her down at that point. She certainly has earned her spot in Babymetal.
It really wasn't that unreasonable to wonder if Yui wasn't coming back. You could imagine she may have been going to school and they were holding her position open until she finished. She was still under contract at Amuse and her position was still open. That sealed period would have allowed her time to get back in shape. So, in that scenario, Yui wouldn't be coming back under duress. Thankfully, the position is filled now and all the speculation is over, at least on that subject. It's time to celebrate Momometal now. It's really sad that much of the conversation recently has focused on Yui instead of Momoko, where it belongs.

I am sorry, but I will never understand this stance about "respecting Yui". When Michael Jordan briefly retired from Basketball, do you think it pained him to see that people wanted him to come back to basketball? Why do people assume Yui wouldn't appreciate the fact fans, even half a decade later, still want her to come back? Wouldn't it be safer to assume that she would be hurt that people would so easily let go and forget about her?
And it's not like fans have any way to directly contact her and nag her about it, right? As you've said, it's not clear what she wants, nobody knows that, apart from those who already know her - and I assume these have faithfully respected whatever decision she has made.
When you say "..But would I want her to come back if that's not what she wants?" -> That's the whole point, if she comes back, that meant she wanted it, right? So why are we even asking ourselves that question??? I don't think ANYBODY who is a genuine Yui fan, would ever have the intention to pull her back by force IF they KNEW she doesn't want to come back. That is just a fallacy argument at best there.
But other than that, I feel the same as you on most things. I do not feel any resentment toward Momoko. I do however feel a LOT of resentment toward team BM and their management and their communication to the fans. I feel properly disgusted that they removed Yui's skull and even more disgusted that they removed Yui from their biography (go check BABYMETAL's channel BIO description. They have properly ERASED Yui from there - as if she had never existed).

As I understand it, we still agree on the whole "Respecting Yui" topic. Obviously if she came back and stayed, no one would doubt it was because she wanted to. However, it became clear that she, indeed, didn't want to come back. The disrespect begins when even after seeing that, fans are still demanding her return. Even after 5 years of scary silence, and even after Momoko was confirmed, people are still throwing Yui's name as the only right choice.
Sometimes I wonder if the reason Yui has taken so long to show herself in any way is because her name is so tightly tied to BABYMETAL, making her unable to detach from it and actually persue her own thing. Just imagine if she comes back to the industry and the only thing people have to say about her is "hey what about BABYMETAL?". As if she couldn't be good enough as herself, just like Su and Moa believed at some point that BM was over without Yui, which (breaking news) wasn't the case.
As long as we don't know what her goals are, it's still disrespectful to demand anything out of her. Don't know if you still disagree with that, but this was my point in the video

It's called an obsession. Parasocial infatuation is the level that most superfans stay at. But a lot of you broke level cap & now here we are in 2023 😬Fans wanting her back may very well have been a flattering thought to YUI for a while after she left. But when she sees the same shit I see way too many fans posting day in & day out for the last 5 years, that same thought that used to flatter her, now likely only makes her skin crawl.

@@omajination But people have the right to prefer Yui over Momoko, don't they? As long as nobody is being needy and agressive about it, I don't see a reason why anybody could not declare that they prefer the era when Yui was in.
People should not force others to feel the same way about this - that goes both ways.
And again, nobody is "demanding" anything from Yui. Unless some creepers manage to knock on her doorstep and annoy her in real life, commenting that you would want her to come back on a random fan-made page somewhere on the internet does not sound disrespectful to me.
Edit: and I agree with your bit about Yui's name being always attached to BABYMETAL. But that is something very common with many different actors, musicians, artists in general. In general, I'd say she's rather safe in Japan and I believe fans would encourage her on her solo career should she decide to have one.

Like it or not shes no longer part of Babymetal it's up to her now to say what she's up to next and has nothing to do with Babymetal. Anyone who is a Babymetal fan hopes that she is happy and well and doing what she wants to be doing. I'm sure she would be happy that the person who took over her Minipattie role is also the one to help Babymetal continue their journey. When they said Yui is irreplaceable in sure that meant there will never be another Yuimetal. Not that another girl couldnt occupy her spot. If anything i think it was an insult to Yui to not find an official third member sooner. It suggested her position wasn't important enough to bother with. They could just throw some random dancers in there and call it good. I'm sure they didn't mean it that way though. They had to find someone with the right chemistry.

While I understand your point, I would say it's the other way around (maybe it's both, which makes it hard), if they immediately replaced her that would mean it send a message she could easily be replaced. It turns out, after trying many years, they tried out of respect to not replace her. And after being a real duo, they could add a member without replacing Yuimetal because the 3 formation is important, but also the 2 voices singing together, Moametal and an other member.

@@jeffschreifels8651 Babymetal has said in a recent interview, we are going to do something new, I hope you (the reader/fans) follow. Using Road of Resistance in the way they did in the recent show to basically say they are creating a new unpaved path from their previous unpaved path of the Metal Resistance. These are all signs they aren't making a break with the past but are doing something new. Honestly as I mentioned somewhere else, I think maybe Yui cared more about Sakura Gakuin having to be shutdown than everything related to her and Babymetal. Yui, I feel, tried to come back for roughly a year and could not, so then made her decision, Babymetal left a place for her to come back during that time and then tried to move on as a duo, closed their 10 years and took their long planned break (maybe even planned before Yui left) and re-evaluated on what best to do for their next chapter in their existence. The conclusion was probably already the logical step, but made the final decision after the break and now they are back 3 ladies strong. Yui probably has very fond memories of being in Babymetal and just wants Babymetal to succeed in whatever way they see best. She is probably happy with them choosing a former SG member. She might even think it's it's almost foreshadowing how they both wore the yellow ribbon in Mini-Pati.

I find it very sad that people are so detached from reality that this is something they worry about, I myself am a super fan of Babymetal and have been for years now but I still understand what Babymetal is. As with all professional musicians it is a job, yes they may love what they do and it is their passion, but no musician turns up to a gig and does not expect to be paid it is the simple reality of the system we live in, so from the point of view of the people involved it is a business decision, nothing more. Each of these girls while being under the overall management of Amuse also would have their own personal agents that handle contract negotiations on their behalf, and this decision would have been made in the board room. My guess is contracts were up for renewal at the end of the financial year 31st March and Momoko did not want to sign a new contract that had her at any less than a full member as she had her future to look out for. Amuse probably decided it was in their interest to give her this rather than lose her and add even more chaos at a time when the band was fragile after the forced hiatus due to the pandemic and all parties decided this was the best option going forward for everyone. A side effect of this might be that Yui is now free to pursue her own career if that was in fact preventing her from doing so. My own personal belief is she just does not want to be involved in the industry anymore or she would have returned years ago, it is a tough life being involved in a touring band with a lot of life sacrifices being necessary and it is not for everyone

I don't think she'll ever be able to perform at that level again. I like Momoko. It seems that Amuse has been trying to make the members less important since YUI'S departure and they've finally succeeded. BABYMETAL is now bigger than it's members. They've slowly taken the members personalities out, which was a big draw for me. Now they have a system to replace the members with someone new given equal standing. The worst thing to me is the new generic corporate logo. Not only did they take out YUI'S skull. They took out Moa's hearts. Making her even less important.
I don't feel we have the right for information about YUI. But we do have the right to express our love and support for her. It shows that she still has a ready fan base in case she ever performs again.

@@Hgoenge81 Divine Attack, Mirror Mirror, MAYA and Believing are metal, of course mixed with other genres, that's what BM always do.
Metal Kingdom, Time Wave, Monochrome, Light & Darkness and Legend are mainly rock, with different mixes of hard and prog rock, dance, trance EDM.
METALIZM is ... OTFGK and I love it!

I absolutely agree with you, Babymetal decided to not be stuck in the past and evolve. The whole concept about a new Babymetal perfectly fits with Momoko becoming the new third member officially. I am happy for her and I am sure it will work out well. I wish Babymetal all the best and hope they will be able to entertain us for many years to come.
PS: Yui will always be the OG and I hold her in a special place in my heart and will never forget her. ❤

Well, they say : Yuimetal has left her place because of ???....
I guess this is not the truth. Yui disappeared completly! Why is there no lifesign from her? No picture, no message from her? No "hello, I'm okay"......!
Is Yui still alive? Nobody has seen her anymore. Mikio died and Yui left Babymetal suddenly and disappeared in the metalspace forever? Something is rotten in the Babymetal-World. What goes on? What about her solo career?
Lol, they will say ONLY THE FOXGOD KNOWS....
    RIP Mikio
    RIP YUI

What I've heard from a Japanese fan Yui was just in school/uni/whatever the form of education is called. Just like Moa still was.

@@autohmae lol, this could be a desinformation. Unrealistic! Classmates don't post any photo? Made in secret? I am still waiting for the "hello, its me, yui(-metal)...."

@HARJEN-we4gg privacy is a very important thing in Japan. Yui might not ofwqnted photos spread of her, and if the rumor is true, then I'm happy her privacy is being respected.

maybe she just doesn't care anymore, maybe she got tired of these weird people. she has no obligation to be on social media just to satisfy your curiosity.

@@HARJEN-we4gg you have to remember in Japan is a different culture. So people do not do such things, privacy actually still exists, even in the public space you don't take photos of people and share them. Also an other important one: people don't usually talk about medical issues, they are private.
