Then i just let the algorithm brought me their live performance, and then momobanger came after 2 or 3 songs, there i was completely sold. Then i digging in head first on their live performances. And now i got my neck strained from headbanging too hard on megitsune (budokan version (i think it sounds better and we can see momo ofc)). So that's my story on my first step into this BM fandom, looking forward for your further guidance senpais!

I saw them live as warm up for sabaton I had heard of them before. Sadly the sound failed midway without them knowing for like 10 seconds. My dad finds it bad. I’m not a huge fan but I like some of the songs but all just more fun and cute instead of everything being death and hell maybe more different which is nice sometimes. and I will keep listening and maybe pick up some vinyls.

Great introduction! I would add that the lore is a nod to the metal bands that came before them, mixed with a splash of religion (shinto) and absolute bullshit. You covered the last part I guess😂 I do consider myself one of the metal elitists, but Babymetal has done their thing in a very respectful manner. Adding something new to metal and acknowledging it, instead of acting like they invented everything like many new bands do.
