I feel like the true babymetal experience is live. They seem to have this very special charm in person and even people like the security guys who may have never even heard of them get engaged and enjoy them. I really hope I get to see them live one day
There's literally nothing like it. I've seen 1000s of sets, toured, toured INTL'ly, and originally saw Babymetal as like a favor to a friend who had tickets. They're my favorite concert and I get more happiness from seeing people like doing the "wait...Babymetal fucking rules???" than I ever have gotten from any other show. This video is hilarious, and they win over more people every time they play. Seeing security guards being like "wait holy shit, are we rocking out?" is so goddamn funny. If you have the chance to see it live, it's worth spending every dollar you have if you need to. It's that good. I'm so glad they decided to keep doing it, when it looked like it might be finally coming to an end. Everything about this show is like next level amazing.

honestly I couldn't be a security guard at their shows because as soon as the music started, I would be turned around with my elbows planted on the stage and resting my chin on my hands and the biggest smile would be permanently frozen on my face, plus I would try to high-five them everytime they came near me, so I would be fired for ignoring the surfers falling on the floor, so sorry surfers, I ain't got time for surfing or saving surfers, when you are watching BABYMETAL that close, they deserve every second of my time. great video Omajination
39 here, got my teenage daughters into Babymetal a while ago and I'm going to take them to a show the next time they tour the US. They're extremely talented and beautiful young women that cross over generational and cultural divides. 🤘🤘🤘
i just saw babymetal in the uk in november and the experience was exactly the same!!! i was at the barrier so all of my videos are filled with the security and event staff having the time of their lives LMAO, they even got low for metali with us
That last guy was super cool. He was into both Dethklok and Babymetal. He spent about 45% of his time looking towards the stage. lol I'm glad he made this clip because he's one of my memories from the Vegas show.

If I worked in security, and saw how the crowd marked out at the start for Babymetal Death, I'd legit be like "holy shit, I'm about to earn this paycheck, it's gonna be a long night fellas..." This is the video I didn't know I needed, thanks for editing this. I fucking love Babymetal and just saw them for the 3rd time, and they just floored me and my friend. EDIT - all of the security dudes are just feeling the love, caught off guard, and are like "yo this kinda slaps." You love to see it. Maybe the most heartwarming thing I've seen in a while, a bunch of jaded old white guys who believe they're dead inside, and then Babymetal actually makes them feel happiness again, and they're like going through it in real time. They're such a great show, like it's unreal. Worth every penny.
Lol their reactions are priceless. I as at the Las Vegas concert in front of Suzuka. The dude in the middle had mixed reactions of curiosity and confusion. He kept looking back through the entire concert. I'm pretty sure he enjoyed some of the songs. All three of the guards pretty much had the same reaction lol. The dude head banging with Moa was loving it. He was weirded out of first but ended up loving it! It was such an amazing experience! Hope they come back soon

I love this video, because it's a visual representation of what it's like to be at the Babymetal show but not a fan, and walking out just wondering about the nature of the universe. They're one of my favorite bands now, but the first time i saw them I just went with a friend from Ukraine because he basically guilted me into going because he had nobody else in LA he knew that liked good music. I was like whatever, a free show for a meme band isn't the worst way to spend a night, so I went in basically knowing that gimme chocolate went viral for years ago and was a fun novelty. When I left I was literally thinking about whether it was the best concert I'd ever seen. My expectations were like a 2/10, and they delivered the surprise 11/10 I never expected. I'm so glad they decided to add Momo and keep going, it's a really special and uniquely great thing they're doing, and the world needs it. Watching Babymetal Death just make arenas implode is a hobby of mine at the moment, loving seeing these bouncers going through what I went through back in 2017 at the palladium. People went absolutely nuts at the show a few weeks ago and I'm actually low key glad the only seats left were in the upper upper deck.

Yeah, I think young people really don't know what "true metal" is. There's nothing wrong about liking their preferred type of metal (I personally love multiple subgenres of metal), but denying that Babymetal is metal is ridiculous. I saw the same reactions to another Japanese artist, JILUKA. They're in between heavy and melodic metal, but there's people denying they are metal at all, when they are absolutely metal. I think it's just easy for posers to gatekeep and bully Asian bands.

We were there for them even though sabbaton were headlining so most of the fans didnt knw who babymetal were. I hope we converted a lot to the ways of the fox god that night. Amazing night. Considering the Rabid fan base for BM, fan's will always be there for the love and respect they have for these tiny bundles of limitless energy and permanent smiles with a true love for their fan's.
