She is the reason I first heard Babymetal. Yui perfectly personified the group, her voice, her power when dancing and the elegance of her performances, it was impossible not to see the giant spotlight that she emanated. Yui's departure was definitely a very hard blow for the group, with her in these 7 years the group would be much bigger than it is now.
Given Momo's positive reception. I think the new era might have started sooner if they took the break in 2020, rather than 2021 Yui was just as important to Babymetal forming and she will always be missed, but at this point she was there for about half BM's life and they have had such a massive year (I can only compare 2014 to when they had this much mainstream hype for nearly a year, but I could be wrong) Its kinda hard to say if the group would have been bigger or not with Yui here. I will say I do think thanks to the departure, Koba, Su, and Moa had to really take up the challenge and see does the status quo work or do they have to reinvent themselves. And given the last 2 albums direction, its clear what they had to do. I hope Yui is happy and healthy, and I hope for the continued success of the new era of Babymetal as a whole
@@MelancholyJoker19 In 2020 it was still too early to place momo. Knowing that Momo's good reception is due to the number of years that have passed. The fact comes in that unlike Yui, Momo doesn't bring anything new to the group. It is spectacular how Su and Moa remained and they deserve everything good that happens but we must not hide that with Yui's departure all their rapid rise stopped a little.

I don't see auras but I am a little sensitive to peoples energy. I've been in a room once with YUI and once with the Dali-Lama and they radiate the same energy. It feels like goodness. You know your in the presence of a great person. BABYMETAL was magical. But YUI brought the magic. Without the magic of YUI BABYMETAL is merely awesome. Except for the year of the Chosen Seven fiasco when they were just great.
I understand that for us Yui fans it's difficult to accept BABYMETAL without her but that's not reason to discredit Su and Moa's hard work and undeniable talent. They've carried the name of BABYMETAL ever since and proved to continue to be magical.

I've bought Airi Suzuki in honour of Moa. I like her. Oddly I don't have any Arianna Grande. I'm a paid member of The One. Buy all the CDs and Blu-rays. And I've been to four shows without YUI. One of my fondest show memories was at Nashville. I had the only BABYMETAL towel and when Moa came to my side I held it high, watched Moa's eyes hone in and she broke out a huge smile. It's lost the magic to me but it's still the best show around and awesome is better than great. I am getting disenchanted with corporate decisions. Probably too early for them to schedule a tour because of the amount of preparation and the expense that their shows require. But we're gonna hear from them soon. Because The One memberships are up for renewal. That's why we have Fox Day.

She never said she wanted a solo career. That was a misinterpretation of the translation of her statement. All she said was "and further I feel that I would like to pursue my dream, one that I have had from a long time ago, of going on my own as Mizuno Yui." All this could mean is that she didn't want to keep playing the "character" of YUIMETAL anymore and she just wanted to be herself which is what she gets to do now.
Yes very suspicious is the fact that Amuse still has her on contract to this day. Without any social media presence and extremely rare occurrences to even see Su and Moa outside of their -metal personas, my theory is Amuse wants to rob Yui of her youth and a possible solo career. Idol/talent agencies in Japan have imposed insane things to their clients e.g. AKB48. And here we are, we just want something from Yui at the very least so we know she’s healthy and okay.

I've thinking that too, Su is always seems not happy everytime yui speaking and moa always looks about the same, but iam resist to believe that because that is really really cruel to be a fact. Yui was starting to break free of Su's oppression. Only the early years did Su appear to be ok with what Yui said. To me, the other two have been jealous of Yui for years, especially Su. I still believe it is good for her to escape the bullying of Koba the exploiter and Su. I am really sorry but there is no BABYMETAL without the Kawaii and talent and skill of Yui.
